366 – The Transforming Power of Knowing Your Spiritual Identity
Episode 366
mardi 21 avril 2026 • Duration 50:38
366 – What is your spiritual identity?
How do you figure out what it is or what it even means? And why do Christians make such a big deal out of this?
In this week’s episode I’m talking with Clint Riggin about why understanding who you are spiritually is so important and the freedom it brings to your life. We talk about:
- What it actually means to surrender your will to God's will
- The only real way to discover your spiritual identity
- What your relationship with God has to do with it
- Why it's so hard to give up our own will
- Why being alone with God helps you discover who you are
- And so much more...
BONUS: At the end, Clint answers these three questions:
- If you could talk to anyone in the Bible except for Jesus who would it be and what would you ask them?
- Who do you identify with in the Bible?
- What is Jesus's original message to us about how he wants us to live our lives?

365 – The Biblical Fate of Corrupt Leaders
Episode 365
mardi 14 avril 2026 • Duration 25:52
365 – What will be the fate of today's corrupt leaders?
When will justice catch up with them?
Are the standards of integrity, honestly, and love for God and mankind out of date?
When will the moral and spiritual laws of God take their rightful place in the life of nations and the world?
In this week’s episode, we’re going to take a look at several leaders in the Bible who blatantly disregarded God’s laws.
The Bible gives us a preview of what could happen to corrupt leaders today, based on what happened to corrupt leaders back then. We look at:
- Ahab, King of Israel, more evil than any of the kings before him
- Nebuchadnezzar, who repented and was restored to his kingdom
- The untimely death of Herod Agrippa I, who killed the Apostle James
- Zacchaeus, a rich tax collector, who was influenced by Jesus to change his dishonest way of living
- The religious authorities of Jesus's day
Never underestimate the power of your prayers to help bring evil and evil doers out of their hiding places to be brought to justice and to establish in the power of God’s law of truth, love, justice, and righteousness to take their rightful place in the world.

356 – Freedom Begins When You Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness
Episode 356
vendredi 27 février 2026 • Duration 07:53
FREEDOM FRIDAY
Are you hungry and thirsty for spiritual things?
Have you ever been really hungry or really thirsty?
Why does that happen? It’s because your body is telling you need to eat or drink something. Hunger and thirst tell us there’s something we need that we don’t have.
Jesus said we will be blessed when we hunger and thirst for righteousness, when we realize the need in our lives for things of the Spirit.
In this episode:
- People, places, and things will never satisfy your real needs
- Only God can fill the hunger in your heart
- Eventually you'll have to admit your need for a spiritual dimension in your life
- The world will always tell you material things will satisfy
- But they never really can because the satisfaction they give is temporary
- The more you're hungry and thirsty for God, the more you'll be filled

266 – Are You Trying to Fit in But Don't Feel You Belong?
Episode 266
mardi 12 novembre 2024 • Duration 25:20
266 – Have you ever wanted to be part of a group so bad you tried to fit in but you still felt left out?
It happens all the time. You want to be in a group or community or a church, but to feel part of things and be accepted you have to copy the attitudes and behaviors of the members of the group.
It's hard because you don't feel you can really be yourself, but being part of the group is important. So you sometimes end up compromising your own values and individuality to be in the group.
The Bible has some very encouraging things to say about this. And that's what this week's podcast is all about.
- The Israelites demanded a king so they could be like the other nations. What were the long term consequences of this decision?
- Why did certain Jewish leaders try to fit in with the Pharisees when they didn't want to admit publicly that they believed in Jesus?
- How did Jesus help Zacchaeus see he belonged to the kingdom of heaven?
- How can you help others realize they don't have to try to fit in to the world's way of thinking because they belong to God?
Take a moment for a little self-reflection. Are you trying to fit in to the way the world sees and does things?
Are you trying to fit in somewhere you don’t really belong. You don’t belong to the world. You don’t belong to sin or the past mistakes you’ve made.
You don’t belong to man-made theological dogma, doctrines, and traditions. And you don’t belong to the devil. You belong to God.

265– Trusting God No Matter What Happens
Episode 265
mardi 5 novembre 2024 • Duration 26:26
265 – Are you trusting God no matter what happens with the election?
Have you ever felt like your life goes from one challenge to another, or one crisis to another?
And just look at the national scene.
As soon as one political battle comes to an end another one starts. And what about the election!!!
How do you keep your peace in all these situations? It’s not always easy.
The question is: Do you trust God in the midst of all these problems?
That's what this week's episode is all about. I ask some pretty honest questions:
- Do you only trust things will be okay if your candidate(s) win?
- Do you only trust things will be okay if the policy you want gets implemented?
- Can you trust God to work things out even if your candidate looses?
- Do you trust people and politics more than God?
Regardless of the political outcome here in the United States, or whatever may be going on in the country where you live in, you can trust God to provide for you, protect you, guide you, and heal you.
Regardless of the outcome of any event, large or small, local, regional, federal, and even international, you can trust God in every situation for all your needs.

264 – Finding Peace During Political Turmoil
Episode 264
mardi 29 octobre 2024 • Duration 25:21
264 – How do you find peace in the midst of political divisiveness?
Politics can be so divisive. And messy! It's so easy to get caught up in the drama, but at some point, we all need to get away from all the chaos and find a sense of peace.
Some folks think they will only get some peace when their candidate(s) win. But that kind of peace is pretty fragile, when it depends on people and situations to be just right.
True peace comes from God; it’s spiritual, and cannot be taken away from you. It’s about your relationship with God.
That's what this week's episode is all about:
- True peace comes from God
- We need to be in obedience to God to experience this peace completely
- Shalom: so much more than just peace of mind or lack of animosity
- The real reason people are so distressed by the political situation (it's not what you think)
- Why Jesus could share his peace with the disciples just hours before he was crucified
- Whose kingdom do you live in, man's or God's?
Jesus didn’t get involved in the politics of his day in order to make things better for people. He didn’t try to influence Roman politics. He didn’t try to influence the Sanhedrin. He simply went about his Father’s business, not man’s business.
No matter which political party you’re a member of, no matter who is elected President, or to Congress or any office, no political party’s policy can do for mankind what Jesus did. Don’t expect a human government to do what only God can do.
No matter who wins the election, the peace of God in your heart cannot be taken away. Jesus has given you this peace. Now it’s your turn to share it with others.

263 – Paul Granger: Walking in the Footsteps Jesus as an Ambassador of Christ
Episode 263
mardi 22 octobre 2024 • Duration 01:14:42
263 – Do you ever think of yourself as an ambassador of Christ?
What does that even mean?
Well, it starts with walking in the footsteps of Jesus and living the way he taught us to, loving like he did.
And most of all it means letting the light of Christ in your heart shine in the world so others can see this light and be drawn to it.
This week's episode is a conversation with Paul Granger, host of the Where Did You See God podcast.
We talk about what it means to be an ambassador of Christ. It's not just the missionary who goes to some foreign country. We all can and should be ambassadors of Christ in every day life.
Paul says: "You are an ambassador of Christ whether you’re preaching at church or when you’re at home with your kids, or walking down the street. It’s in the details of everyday life."
To be an ambassador of Christ, doesn't mean you have to make some giant effort. Paul says:
"You may not feel you can take a giant leap of faith. Just take a small toe-nudge forward, one inch at a time, one day at a time. Focus on the fact that you have been given the privilege and gift and blessing to step toward God today."

262 – Redeeming and Healing the Past
Episode 262
mardi 15 octobre 2024 • Duration 26:33
262 – What needs to be healed from your past?
Have you ever felt that because of things that happened to you in the past, either mistakes you made or things other people did to you, you haven’t been able to live your life the way you wanted to or be as successful as you could be?
Once in a while, it a can be a good idea to take a look at your past: mistakes you've made, things others have done that harm you, or situations that had a negative impact on your life.
If you're holding onto resentment for what others did, or the mistakes you made, or if you're still letting a some event from the past have a negative influence on the way you think and act today, it's time for some healing.
That's what this week's podcast episode is all about. I share some stories of people in the Bible who had to face the mistakes they made or the way they were treated unfairly, so they could go forward with God's purpose for them. I talk about
- Jacob
- His son Joseph
- Joseph's 10 older brothers
- God's forgiveness is so thorough, He will not even remember your sins
- The real reason you can let go of the past and it's negative influence on your life
- A prayer that brings healing to your past
You can't take any guilt or shame with you into heaven. You can’t take any memories of your mistakes or sins either. And you can’t take resentment over how someone or some circumstance may have harmed you.
Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is at hand. This means you don’t have to wait to begin to experience being in the presence of heaven.
To the degree you are aware that heaven is at hand, you can let go of these things from the past right now.
The love and forgiveness of God can reach back into what you call the past, wash away then negative memories and influence, and bring redemption and healing.

261 – The Best Motive for Prayer that Heals
Episode 261
mardi 8 octobre 2024 • Duration 22:40
261 – What is your motive when you pray for healing?
Is there anything in your life right now that you’re praying about for healing?
Maybe you’re praying for healing for someone else. It could be a health issue, a relationship problem, finding a new job, financial struggles, or maybe an emotional challenge.
The Bible says that God "heals all your diseases." But have you ever not felt your prayer for healing was being answered the way you felt it should be? I sure have.
It's definitely good to pray for healing, but Jesus warns us that we need to look at our motives for prayer.
Sometimes we get so absorbed in the problem, we just want to get rid of it. Sometimes we want a healing for ourselves or someone else as a blessing.
But the best motive for a healing prayer is to glorify God.
In this week's episode I look at several times in the Bible when this bigger picture of glorifying God was the main reason for someone's prayer and how that was what brought healing or resolution to a problem.
- Hezekiah's prayer when the King of Assyria was threatening him
- Joshua's prayer of gratitude to God for being able to walk on dry river bed of the Jordan River
- Daniel's prayer not just for forgiveness but for God's name and glory to be restored
- Jesus's command to let our light shine so people would see our good deeds and glorify God
When your ultimate motive in prayer is to glorify God, you rise far above any self-centered or self-focused desires. It gives you a broader perspective of how God is working in the whole world, instead of how you want Him to work in your little world.
It is a righteous prayer for us to pray for healing or solutions so the whole world may know that God can and does heal today just as in Jesus’s day.
Whatever you’re doing, whatever you’re praying for, it’s always the perfect time to pray that God will be glorified.

260 – What Will Your Spiritual Legacy Be?
Episode 260
mardi 1 octobre 2024 • Duration 21:21
260 – Is it possible for you to bless people 100 years from now?
Have you ever wondered what impact your life might have on future generations? Will people remember you 100 or 200 years from now or will your life be forgotten by the world in general?
You just might have more influence on the future than you can imagine. Think of folks who lived hundreds of years ago who are a blessing to you: maybe an author or an artist, or some historical figure.
And of course, think of all the people in the Bible, who lived thousands of years ago, but their lives, and the lessons they learned, are still a blessing to us today.
If this can be true for them, then it can be true for you and me as well.
What will your spiritual legacy be for future generations? In this week's episode I talk about.
- The best way to leave a spiritual legacy is to obey God's commandments
- Teach your children and those around you to love God and all mankind
- God told Abraham he and his descendants would be a blessing to the whole world. If it's true for Abraham, it is true for you too
- Jesus knew he would be a blessing for the whole world for all time to come
- As a follower of Jesus, your life can have a similar far-reaching effect
The choices you make today in obedience to God, the way you live your life in following Christ, the humility you express in being guided by the Holy Spirit, will have a lasting influence far into the future, more than you can imagine or will ever know.
Acknowledge this influence is possible. Accept it. And trust God with the spiritual legacy you’re giving to future generations.
