| Gut Health - What's Up With Your Guts | 30 Aug 2022 | 00:44:00 | |
In this episode, we have Elizma back with Steve and Jeff to discuss how polyphenols can affect the gut. This is a super exciting topic we promise! Why? Because the team has been working hard in the background to conduct a study looking at exactly what polyphenols do to the gut microbiome and we are sharing a sneak peek of this BRAND NEW INFORMATION. Steve, Jeff, and Elizma focus specifically on the ability of polyphenols to eliminate or dramatically reduce lipopolysaccharide-producing bacteria in the gut such as Klebsiella and E-coli. As these are usually associated with inflammation and some pretty horrendous symptoms that even practitioners can struggle to get rid of in their clients, you can understand how excited we are to share this with you!! Who would have thought polyphenols from fruits and vegetables could be the answer...

| Supplement Timing Matters - When should you take your vitamins and supplements? | 02 Aug 2022 | 00:56:30 | |
The ATP Project 350 Supplement Timing Matters - When should you take your vitamins and supplements?
In the latest episode of The ATP Project, Jeff and Steve discuss the importance of supplement timing and how you may not be absorbing all of the required nutrients like you think you are when taking your supplements. It's often easier to just throw everything down the hatch, and chase it with a big gulp of your favourite beverage to combat the flavour or food because it’s easier on the stomach. However, some of these habits of combination for ease can actually lead to poor or nil absorption of the nutrients you are wanting to absorb and as a result can lead us to have very expensive poo (seeing so the supplement will pass straight through you!). Stay tuned to this episode where the team will run through some key areas around supplementation timing, vitamins on an empty stomach, and how you can actually have too much of a ‘good thing’.
