Mary has a unique perspective witnessing first hand, the transition from traditional media to digital to stay in front of vested audience groups including students, alumni, donors, and others.

Iowa State Athletics has positioned itself as a social media juggernaut in recent years, racking up record engagement and record annual revenue — $13.3 million, to be exact.

As part of her duties, Mary oversees a $1.2 million budget and heads the strategy behind the athletics department's wildly popular social media channels. Mary will be discussing her approach to social media engagement and the development of Iowa State's growing fandom.
