George Bryant27 Sep 202200:40:55

George Bryant - After nearly a decade of working with some of the brightest minds in the world, I started a podcast.

I moved my family to Montana and rebuilt everything after instantly losing seven figures in a global pandemic.

Despite the chaos, the results were incredible and The Relationships Beat Algorithms model was born.

My audience quickly grew, and I started masterminds and live events again.

The more I interacted with my audience, the more I realized:

“You never have a marketing problem, you have a relationship problem.”

Today, I am dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs to deepen their love affairs with their customers.

Annie Hyman Pratt16 Aug 202200:29:39

Annie Hyman Pratt’s mastery is developing leaders, teams and infrastructure that drives business growth—so entrepreneurs can do the strategic and creative parts while also having the time, freedom, and positive impact they desire. She founded the consulting and training company Leading Edge Teams based on her unique, decades-long experience as both a successful C-level executive and a highly sought-after business adviser. Leading Edge Teams provides entrepreneurial companies training and executive coaching in groups and one-on-one, online and in person. They have an unparalleled track record of helping businesses achieve massive, sustainable, team-driven growth.

Annie started her business education around the dinner table, hearing her mother and father talk about their business, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Annie worked behind the bean counter in her teen years and then went to college at nearby UCLA, where she graduated with a degree in Economics/Business. She then worked with one of the prestigious Big 8 accounting firms in Los Angeles, doing business valuations and becoming a certified public accountant. Her solid grasp of accounting and finance was a key advantage throughout her career.

At age 22, Annie took the reins and became the CEO of her family business. A trailblazer for women in business, she more than 10X’d the business to 70-plus stores, and then led the company through a highly successful sale.

After the sale of The Coffee Bean, Annie moved into interim C-suite executive work and top-tier business consulting. She became an expert in guiding companies through rapid growth and complex turnarounds while working within diverse industries. Annie’s experience with so many different types of entrepreneurial businesses is especially rare, giving her a unique understanding of what it takes to succeed and how The People Part plays a greater role than ever.

Annie’s specialty in The People Part was further cultivated through her study at the University of Santa Monica, where she learned what it really takes for human beings to transcend their “quick to judge” and self-protective nature and instead work together to reach their full potential.

Ryan Tate26 Jul 202200:28:55

Ryan Tate sat in his high school English class and watched in horror as terrorists took down the World Trade Center and Pentagon. He had a strong urge to fight on the front lines, and he knew the Marines would provide him with an opportunity to do just that. So he signed his enlistment papers at age 16, received his high school diploma early, and skipped high school graduation to attend Bootcamp at Parris Island in 2003, where he earned the title United States Marine.

As an Infantryman, Ryan participated in some of the most intense battles of the Iraq war. He earned awards for combat valor, “Marine of the Year,” and “Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year.” His service took him to Southeast Asia to train foreign militaries and assist in counter-piracy operations. Ryan says, “Being a Marine allowed me to see humanity’s best and the worst. The contrast is humbling, and I wouldn’t trade my experiences for anything in the world.”

After leaving the Marine Corps, Ryan continued his service to our nation with the U.S. Department of State. He served on protective details for high-profile diplomats, both foreign and domestic. After four years with State, Ryan was at home on a Sunday evening and watched a documentary that exposed him to the atrocities of poaching in Africa and the damage that the illegal international wildlife trade had on developing African communities. One particular scene of a female rhino dying a slow, painful death after poachers sawed her face off gave Ryan a gut punch that changed the course of his life forever.

In 2013, Ryan took an exploratory research trip to Tanzania at the invitation of President Kikwete and the Ministry for Natural Resources and Tourism. His mentors at the State Department connected him to Government Officials from several African nations to discuss their wildlife protection needs. Each official he spoke with recognized the importance of providing their country’s park rangers with specialized military training. It became even more apparent to him during this trip that veterans and their skills would be a game-changer for park rangers and conservationists in the fight to protect endangered species.

After returning home from his first trip to Africa, Ryan resigned from the U.S. Department of State and founded Veterans Empowered To Protect African WIldlife.

Brandon Svarc12 Jul 202200:32:05

For Naked & Famous Denim founder Brandon Svarc, denim is art and escapism.

In an interview with Roadtrip Media, Svarc said, “I remember knowing and realizing that there’s no way that my imagination is going to get any better as I get older. I knew that as a kid, as a little boy, you have the greatest, most powerful imagination ever so when I try to design crazy things, I just try to remember being an 8-year-old boy.”

Svarc pours that creativity into Naked & Famous Denim, a brand renowned for design as well as an ability to toe the line between quality and kitsch—manufacturing both clean, distress-free Japanese raw denim and novelty pieces like rainbow fade denim, glow-in-the-dark varieties, scratch-n-sniff pieces, blanket-lined styles, and a slew of other unique creations.

And the Canadian native is proud that he’s doing it all from Canada, where the line is manufactured.

For the past 11 years, Svarc has played an active role in how the company’s products are conceived and created, traveling between Japan and Canada to design, source, strategize and organize the denim powerhouse from behind the scenes.

Sammy "The Bull" Gravano28 Jun 202200:40:32

Known by most as “Sammy The Bull”, Salvatore Gravano was born on March 12th, 1945 in Bensonhurst, a Brooklyn neighborhood with a predominantly Italian-American population to Gerry and Kay Gravano, both of whom hailed from Sicily. Gravano fell into crime at an early age. Around the age of ten, his bicycle was stolen by a group of older bullies. A group of mobsters who were watching from a cafe when he confronted the thieves remarked how little Sammy fought “like a bull” while taking on several larger kids at once, earning him the nickname “The Bull”. At the age of 14 he joined the Rampers, a prominent street gang in Bensonhurst.

Despite his father’s attempts to dissuade him, like many of his Ramper colleagues, Gravano drifted into the Cosa Nostra. The mafia had a longstanding presence in the Bensonhurst neighborhood. In 1970, Sammy The Bull made his first kill for the Colombo family. Upon Colombo associate Shorty Spero’s suggestion and to avoid further conflict, Gravano moved from the Colombo family to the Gambino family and joined Salvatore “Toddo” Aurello’s crew.

He became heavily involved in the construction industry. In 1985, he was involved in the corporate takeover and removal of Paul Castellano. John Gotti was unanimously elected as boss who named DeCicco as underboss and Gravano as captain. After DeCicco’s death in 1986, Gravano’s specific position within the family varied. Eventually, he was named by Gotti as underboss.

Gravano pleaded guilty to a superseding racketeering charge. After 11 months alongside Gotti in prison and a total of 23 years in the mob, he decided to cooperate, formally agreeing to testify on November 13th, 1991.

He was released from prison in 1994 and entered into the Federal Witness Protection Program. In 1996, Gravano co-wrote a book about his life, Underboss. He began living very openly and appeared in a nationally televised interview with journalist Diane Sawyer.

In 2000, Gravano was implicated in an international ecstasy ring. On September 7, 2002, he was sentenced in New York to 20 years on the federal charges. He was released early, in September of 2017.

Currently, Gravano resides in Phoenix and is working on several media projects

Charlie Fusco14 Jun 202200:33:54
Charlie Fusco - Executive Producer, Art Director, Brand Strategist, Influential Connector, Speaker & Author Growing up around film and television both in the "acting world" and in the "business world," she has a unique history and skill set. Her father, a screenwriter, owned both a finance and film distribution company, while her mother was a top real estate agent. She worked on-set, off-set, in editing suites, and sat in funding meetings since the age of 6. Creativity, sales, negotiating, and entrepreneurial grit are in her bloodline. She received formal training as a writer, photographer, director, and art direction at both Northwestern University and Boston University.

In 1995, she started working for Media Power, a large direct response radio company, doing copywriting for clients like Tony Robbins and radio hosts like Howard Stern. She became the Marketing Director and Executive Producer before the age of 21. She went on to produce their biggest TV infomercials, 50+ radio infomercials, designed their internal product line, while signing up 100+ new clients in less than three years. She took control of talent negotiations and helped expand the 200-seat inbound call center by developing the sales scripts for the agents.

In 2001, she started her agency, Synergixx. Quickly, her agency hit $10M in annual revenue and maintained a yearly revenue average of 15M. During this time, she produced hundreds of TV and radio commercials, print campaigns, and online campaigns. She expanded Synergixx's service offerings by creating a 200+ seat inbound call center as well as a full media buying agency. You name the product, and she has probably helped sell it.

As the internet became disruptive to traditional marketing, Charlie drew on her background to help her clients keep their competitive advantage. She became active in celebrity negotiations, talent deals, spokespeople contracts, and endorsement campaigns to keep her client's profitable in the new media environment.

In 2013, as marketers started recovering from a soft economy, hedge fund managers, venture capitalists, and angel investors sought her advice on acquisitions based on her industry reputation. From producing rap videos to partnering with TV celebrities on product lines to media coaching c-suite executives, her agency was anything but traditional.

In 2018, she turned her full attention to starting and scaling TGC Worldwide, which manages personal brand evolutions. TGC has put clients on the NYT Bestseller lists, secured them movie deals, expanded their charities, and other achievements most think "impossible." Her clients are looking to expand their impact on a global scale through philanthropic efforts, key collaborations, books, movies, one-of-a-kinds events, and effective thought leadership.

Her last book, Brains, Boobs, and Balls was removed from the WSJ Journal's bestseller list due to its racy title and continues to garner her keynotes.

She lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, 3 kids, and a menagerie of animals.

Whether ghostwriting a book, directing documentaries, developing social media strategies, negotiating reality show deals, or directing a photoshoot - That Girl Charlie - still considers herself a master storyteller with a passion for putting more good into the world.

Ed Parcaut24 May 202200:27:07
Born in Burlingame, California, Ed Parcaut moved around a lot in childhood, following his dad’s work at telephone company Bell. After his father’s death, Parcaut wound up in Turlock, California. A skinny kid, Parcaut played sports like soccer before graduating and enlisting in the Navy.

After 18 months at Camp Pendleton, it came time for Parcaut to choose a specialty. Willing to do anything that wasn’t on a ship, Parcaut ended up studying physical therapy, concurrently getting a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s in international business and marketing.

After getting out of the Navy, Parcaut gave the tech world a try before realizing it wasn’t for him. He turned to work for his neighbor’s mortgage company, which is what stuck. Parcaut’s love for numbers and helping people have kept him in the mortgage field ever since.

In August of 2018, Parcaut accidentally fell into the radio world when the creator of a defunct radio show approached him to see if he would take it over, understanding his passion for helping people own homes. Though the technology may be a bit outdated, Parcaut’s show, Real Estate Jerky, is going strong.

As a veteran, Parcaut loves to work with other vets, wanting to be there for a population that has often been mistreated. Having a strong understanding of the value of a helping hand, Parcaut makes an effort to help his employees grow as people, hoping to one day sell his business to them.

This helping spirit makes coaching a natural evolution for Parcaut, who has experience being on stage speaking to thousands of people as part of an initiative called No Homeowners Left Behind, which helped to modify people’s loans during the 2008 recession. In the mortgage industry and beyond, Parcaut is committed to paying it forward.

I am a Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) who has worked in the financial planning industry in Montreal for more than 35 years.

I've advised hundreds of clients, written over 200 articles about personal finance, and shared my expertise on radio and television myriad times.

But I am not just an expert; I am someone who knows this topic inside and out from personal experience, having spent seven years and $50,000 in lawyer fees to come to an agreement with siblings over my parents’ estate.

And that was with a written will!

The grief, frustration, and stress of that experience were life-altering for me.

I was determined to write this book in order to help others successfully navigate the difficult tasks of estate planning and executorship—so that other families could stay together, rather than fall apart.

Anshar Seraphim29 Mar 202200:32:53
Anshar Seraphim can teach you not only how to close the sale, but to build trust, rapport, and make one-time customers into lifetime clients. He has trained sales associates and managers in bridal and engagement ring sales for Kay Jewelers and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry and has two decades of experience in sales and communication. After helping to break records for fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for Signet, the company that owns Kay Jewelers, he was invited by his district manager to do sales and negotiation training for all the stores in his immediate region, resulting in the training of hundreds of jewelry store associates and managers in the Pacific Northwest.  Interestingly, he has also worked in the legal brothel industry, training sex workers on how to apply psychological principles to their negotiations for full-service sex work. His negotiation and communication training was responsible for increasing the gross sales of the top booking legal sex workers in the United States by over 300%, a success so significant he was invited to organize and implement training for multiple brothel properties in Nevada.

Anshar didn't get his start in sales like most people do. When joining the US Navy, enlisting for their Cryptography program, he found out that he had undiagnosed autism that should have disqualified him for service after already becoming a sailor. With a heavy heart, he left his military career to learn more about his Autism diagnosis and how to overcome and cope with the challenges presented by it.

He went into information technology and worked at his local college, developing his communication skills and working one on one with college students and faculty in their disability services program. He tutored every subject, from calculus to electrical engineering to astronomy to organic chemistry, and used his systems knowledge to not only help those in academia but also work on his own personal development in his weakest area, dealing with people.

Anshar now does customized negotiation training as a consultant, speaks on emotional dynamics, and advocates for the benefits that neurodiverse hiring can bring to the world of business.
