Meet Shayleigh Evans "I have an affinity for the physical body as it relates to pain, disease, illness, and emotion. My passion is helping people understand the root cause of unfavorable behavior and discord in the body, mind, and spirit as it relates to relationships with animals and their human counterparts. ​Growing up I was always a bit of a “Snow White,” befriending animals everywhere I went. I’ve always felt that animals have so much wisdom to offer, so in 2018 I decided to deeply dive into teaching myself to communicate with them. Being self taught was one of the most spiritually and emotionally challenging things for me, and in hindsight has allowed me so much growth and information to offer others. I believe that every animal has a voice, and every human should feel empowered to hear it! My passion in this work is the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of animals as they are experiencing life in the current moment. Welcome to The Art of Equine Alchemy podcast! I'm Amber Lydic, a former horse trainer with over 20 years of experience specializing in performance horses with behavioral issues. When my own life took a dark turn, I dove deep into my healing journey, leading me to certifications in somatic breathwork, ThetaHealing, EAGALA, and personal development coaching. This podcast aims to bridge the gap between science and spirituality in the equine industry. Through healing journeys and real stories shared by courageous individuals, we explore how they reclaimed their power and found their voices for themselves and their horses. Our intention is to lead a shift that challenges traditions no longer aligned with our updated understanding of the horse's (and human's) mind, body, and spirit.
