Simplifying my life in the kitchen got me to thinking about my business...
As entrepreneurs, we tend to overcomplicate things. We think in order to get from A to Z that we have to go through the entire alphabet but we're in a new paradigm! We can simply choose to have what we desire RIGHT NOW.
Ways to make marketing simple and maximize earning potential
Asses the window...
Take a look at the windows of your business. Are they open and inviting, letting people in when it is appropriate. Or are they open enough to let things leak out that aren't working? Look at your numbers and audit your strategies to make sure that you are getting the most out of what you are working with.
Go all in with intentionality on what's working
Let's make this simple, I like to use the metaphor of dating. Have you ever been dating all the wrong guys, and then woke up and realized you should have been with your best guy friend who was in love with you the whole time? Take a look at your systems and your strategies to see what is taking away all your time and not giving you enough back, or what have you not focused on that actually gives you a great return?
Leverage Other People's Positioning (OPP)
Start finding people who have a similar ideal client as you with a different product. You can have a joint Live with them or create a masterclass. You are getting in front of their audiences while they are getting in front of yours and it is equally beneficial for you both. Another way to leverage other people's positioning is to become an affiliate for their products.

I have FINALLY figured out a bedtime routine with Oliver, my two-year-old son, and I am able to get some sleep! Now, you may think that a story about finding a bedtime routine for Oliver has nothing to do with the topic of CEO Days, but hear me out. Before I figured out how to get Oliver to sleep in his own bed, I lacked clarity in my day. I was exhausted and not well-rested. Even if I had a CEO Day, I wasn't nearly as productive as I wanted to be.
So, why are CEO Days a must for your business?
Do you have money blocks? Do you even look at your finances? I never used to look at my bank account because it would remind me of the lack... But when you are running a business that isn't an option. You need to remember that avoidance is disempowering. It is so important

Awareness brings things into focus for more clarity - When I did my CEO Day, I was looking at my business from a birds-eye view... I wasn't super focused on one part of my business. I noticed that some things I thought that were really important, actually didn't matter as much. I was able to see what made me more efficient, what my core pillars are, and how to create content around that. It's so empowering!
Uncover the leaks--energy, time, & money - Once you create that awareness, you will start to uncover what really isn't working and is just sucking away at your energy, time, or money. This is where you get really into the details of what you are paying for and the growth that it is helping you with. You may be surprised at what you discover is a leak.
Discover resources for income opportunities - Sometimes in your business you are going to have seasons where you need to dig down and work on a project. It may be hard for you to market or make sales during this time since you will be so entrenched in the project, so how are you making money? I suggest reaching out to people that you have been an affiliate for in the past and ask what they have coming up that you can promote. You can really market their products or courses on the weeks that your content is low, and make some money from that as well!
If you have never had your own CEO Day, I recommend scheduling one once per month, and work your way towards once a week. My CEO Day consists of looking at the numbers, reverse engineering my income goals, look at my offers and resources, find my affiliate offers, and then plan my content around that.

Today, we will be talking about Reels. Reels have been a hot topic for the last two years and are Instagram's answer to TikTok's success. I have noticed a lot more coaches being Reels coaches and getting people to use Reels to find their ideal client.
I want to take a step back and challenge the Reels strategy to find your ideal client... Reels are just a glimpse of your life. When someone just stumbles upon your Reel, they won't see the whole picture of who you are and what your business is all about. People get so excited when they post a Reel that goes "viral" and suddenly they have so many new followers! They don't stop to think if those new followers are actually their ideal clients... and then a week or month later, 90% of those new followers unfollow.
Let me use dating as a metaphor. When you first start dating someone, everything clicks, you love everything about them, and it seems like life is just perfect. A few months down the road, they maybe bring up a topic that you don't agree on, and that image comes crashing down. Suddenly they aren't the 'perfect person' anymore.
People create Reels with the intention of getting more views and more followers, but they don't think about connecting on a soul-to-soul level with their ideal clients. However, Reels is an opportunity to get more people coming to you. What you need to do when you have a viral Reel is make sure you are creating content that makes it 100% clear who you are and how you serve. This is where you will really create that subconscious connection with your audience.
Have you ever come across an influencer or a coach on Instagram, and you instantly think, "Wow, I really connect with this person." You binge-watch their content and start clicking on their freebies and maybe even buy their small offer. You get to that point because you made a connection with them! That is exactly what happens to your audience when they see your content. They want to be elevated by your content and your offers, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

Have you ever heard of Goddess Days, CEO Days, and Doer Days? While I can't take credit for developing these ideas, I have made them work for me and my business.
As entrepreneurs, we wear many hats, and even more so as moms. When I started my business, I tried to learn as much as possible about productivity. I took courses and read books, and eventually started time-blocking. It felt impossible to do everything, and I was not completely present in the "character" needed for every aspect.
As entrepreneurs, we need to be able to oscillate between each of these "characters gracefully." The Goddess, The CEO, and The Doer.
The Goddess
She is important because she manages your state.
When she is feeling good, everything else is in alignment.
She feeds your mind, body, and soul.
When you take a Goddess Day, do things that make you feel good and aligned. Do something (not work) just for you, showing your subconscious mind that you can take care of your physical body and emotions.
CEO
She plans everything.
On CEO Day, you can plan content, launches, family vacations, meals, and even plan to plan!
During CEO Days, you can have team meetings and decide what to outsource.
I always sleep so much better after CEO Days because I know where I'm going, and I have a plan and checklist to keep myself aligned.
Doer Days
She puts on the headphones and gets working on the plan created on the CEO Days.
She feels aligned and ready to handle the plans after Goddess Days.
She is most of the day and is so important!

I have noticed from talking to my copy writer and my podcast manager that lots of people know about NLP, but not many people actually know what it is or why we can use it in our marketing. So I'm going to break it down here for you...
NLP is learning how to use the mind's language to get results. You can think of it as the user's manual of the mind.
First, let's talk about the Neuro Part... Neuro: Our nervous system or our mind with which we experience the world through our senses...
Visual - what you see
Auditory - what you hear
Kinesthetic - what you feel, external and emotionally
Olfactory - what you smell
Gustatory - what you taste
People have a primary sense to process information. Visual processors usually tend to talk fast because they are processing the message must quicker than someone that is auditory. Auditory people will hear the information and then create images in their minds to interpret the information. And so on...
Why is this important to consider when creating content? You are creating an experience for your audience every time you post on social media or send out an email. If you want to appeal to all types of processors, you'll want to fold in words relating to all senses in your copy. Now let's talk about the Linguistic part of NLP! Linguistic relates to the language and physical communication we use to store memories and experiences to give them meaning.
As we perceive something and it enters our awareness through the primary way we process information, we begin to create pictures, sounds, and feelings, internally.
Lastly, let's talk about Programming Programming is the patterns and strategies we run in our minds. Do you remember the story of Pavlov's dog? Pavlov would feed his dogs when he rang a bell. After many tries, he was able to get the dogs to salivate just by ringing the bell. They didn't even have to see food but they would assume it was coming because they were programmed to believe that it comes when the bell rings.
We do the same thing. When we see or hear or feel something that we have in the past, we are programmed to believe that we will have the same consequences. So, if your future clients are hearing the same pattern in your copy that they have heard from someone who let them down, they are much less likely to purchase your product because they are programmed to believe you will let them down.

Episode 17: What You Must Know About Creating Change
Today's topic not only will help with your mindset and motivation as a consultant, coach, or online entrepreneur; but also knowing this serves your clients. When you can understand what is needed to create change, you can help your clients get better, faster results.
If you're new to NLP (neurolinguistic programming), there is a part of the mind called the critical faculty where all learnings and behavioral changes take place at an unconscious level. It filters what information can get to the unconscious mind. The filters are created before the age of 7 so are deeply rooted in our beliefs. These beliefs are what form our comfort zone, and it's in our comfort zone that we hide from change.
How do we create positive change? Before I go through the 3 ways to create change, I want you to listen to this episode twice: once with the intention to learn how to create change for yourself and twice to learn what goes on for your prospect and clients when they are deciding to buy from you.
Repetition: the 1% compound effect works wonders when you can repeat positive behaviors in a positive state and get desirable outcomes. Even if they are small wins.
Intensity:
Amplified states- when you're experiencing powerful emotions
Significant emotional event- a sudden emotional event that shocks your neurology shifts your perspective
Strengthening of memories- ever feel nostalgic? Have you ever daydreamed about a happy time in your past then when you snap out of the trance you felt like you were there again? In NLP, we use techniques to help people activate a time when they felt a way they want to feel again that will spark action or motivation.
Activating your imagination puts the critical faulty to sleep.
Visualization is powerful especially when you couple it with repetition. Envision yourself having a stellar sales call and practice sales conversations even if it's with a friend.
Meditation relaxes your mind and nervous system. When you awake from a meditative state, you have more clarity on the steps required for change or to get the desired outcome.
Hypnosis also helps with creating new neurology to support change.
If you're looking to change your habits around business activities you know will help scale your business, create a behavioral change routine using these 3 methods. You'll also want to give yourself several weeks to follow this routine to really solidify the change.

Let's talk about Subconscious Marketing. My son has been in a Shrek-watching mood lately, and I am actually really enjoying finding the similarities to Subconscious Marketing!
Let's take a look at it:
First up is Shrek, and that's you. The hero wanting to save Fiona from the tower. Fiona is the subconscious mind. She has all these desires and dreams that can't come true because she is stuck in a dungeon guarded by a dragon. The dragon is the critical faculty. The part of the brain that stops the subconscious mind from communicating with anything outside the dungeon. Shrek's job is to speak directly to Fiona, to find out what those desires and dreams are and what are the problems and pains stopping her from getting them.
This is exactly Subconscious Marketing! Your customers have a subconscious mind that has desires and dreams, and how much better would it be to speak directly to that instead of always trying to fight the dragon.
Shrek goes around the dragon to save Fiona... shouldn't we do the same?

Today we will be talking about something I really geek out about! Marketing, Money, and Mindset. All three work together really well if they are all working in alignment, but it can also be a vicious cycle if they get off track.
Inside my group program, Connections that Convert, I take my members through my success formula which is Mindset, Strategy, and Action. What most coaches don't teach is the Mindset behind the Marketing... and not just your mindset, but your customer's mindset.
Understanding where the consumer's mindset is will help you market to your target audience with ease.
The consumer follows these five stages;
Unaware: They don't even know they have a problem, and you need to educate them on that.
Problem Aware: Now they know what their problem is, but they don't know how to solve it. Now they are ready for you to tell them that there are solutions to this problem.
Solution Aware: Now they know that there is a solution out there, they will want to know what product or service they can use to solve their problem.
Product Aware: Now they are aware of the products, and will begin to make a decision on which person they will purchase the product from. You need to make sure that you are in their vision at this stage.
Most Aware: Now they know what their problem is, that there is a product that will solve their problem and that you are the best person to purchase that product from.
All five stages can be helped along by you having content and copy that speaks directly to where the consumer is at that moment. There is a lot of market research to do for this, and I am always happy to teach you how!

Here are some Prime Directives of the Unconscious Mind
Stores memories which dictates your present actions based on past memories.
Organizes memories and deletes, distorts and generalizes what is really going on.
Uses and responds to symbols. Your unconscious mind will attach meaning to events which sparks an emotion. This can control your actions which determines your results.
Takes everything personally. You may read a social media post and think it's written about you.
Works on the principle of least effort. Being specific is critical to manifest what you truly want.
Does not process negations which is why it's best to focus on what you truly desire and not what you want to avoid.
Enjoys serving YOU but needs clear orders to follow!
