Patch 8.3 Survival Guide https://www.wowhead.com/news=305319/patch-8-3-visions-of-nzoth-survival-guide-giveaway The third major Battle for Azeroth content patch, Visions of N'Zoth, will be releasing on January 14th (US) / 15th (EU). This new content patch will include N'Zoth Assaults in two zones: Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. N'Zoth has taken over and Corrupted these areas. Taking part in these Assaults will earn you reputation with the Uldum Accord and Rajani and earn you a new currency: Coalescing Visions. Wrathion returns in this Patch, starting off with a long Introduction Questline that will act as a tutorial for the major systems of this patch. This includes his own legendary cloak Ashjra'kamas, Shroud of Resolve and a plan to enter and take down the Horrific Visions of N'zoth. Titanforging is being removed for all Patch 8.3 content and replaced by Corrupted Gear which will provide you with powerful effects, but at a cost. Participating in Horrific Visions will allow you to upgrade Wrathion's Legendary Cloak, helping you to combat some of the negative effects of the Corrupted gear. In addition, new Essences are being added for all roles, as well as new recipes for Professions. Two new Allied Races are being added to the game: Vulpera for the Horde and Mechagnomes for the Alliance.

In SWTOR they held a MEGA Event, a MFN event, and held their Remembrance day in Juran Mountains on Alderaan. In FFXIV they had a special MFN and met at the Free Company house for Remembrance day. In STO they held an event on Risa (not Rishi) and met at the Memorial at Wolf 359 for Remembrance Day. In Eve they got together in Discord to join in Remembrance Day. In GW2 they had a special MFN, ran dungeons with Maellung, and met at Lion’s Arch on the Field of the Fallen for Remembrance Day. In LOTRO they met on the Hill behind the Prancing Pony in Bree for Remembrance Day and held a special MFN Edition. Nomads Last month worth doing an old style Nomads raid in Lotro. Next stop will be GW2 WoW Classic Nevermore has given us one heck of an update on WoW Classic! WoW Classic launched just a few months ago on August 26th, 2019 and our Horde AIE Guild on the Pagle server has been thriving! :tada: We are constantly hovering close to the max guild limit of 1000 members. Diablo IV was announced at Blizzcon and is a much darker version of Diablo, more like Diablo II in tone and graphically play. It will also be an open world, so much so, that you will need mounts to travel through the world. There is a hub city where you can meet other players, show off your armor/weapons as well as a PvP area. WoW Noob Raid will be running the Anniversary Event (LFR) that launches on Tuesday. Reminder that Noob Raid runs on Saturday at 11pm Eastern. Blizzcon Wrap Up New expansion, entitled Shadowlands, was announced and is up for pre-sale. There are 3 tiers, so read carefully what’s in each. Level squish is coming, Level 120 becomes level 50, and you’ll level 50-60 in Shadowlands. Levels 1-10 will be in the race specific starting area OR you can choose to level in the new level 1-10 zone that people new to the game will also start in. Once you level 10, you’ll go visit Chromie and be given the choice of which expansion you want to level through. You can choose Mists of Pandaria, and you will level 10-50 in Pandaria, with the option to move to another expansion, however you will start at the beginning of the story of that expansion. Your first character through Shadowlands will have to do all the zones, but once you finish the story, any alts will start with all endgame content unlocked at level 50 and can start progressing through it immediately. They can also choose which zone they want to level in, unlike your first character which will be going through zones in a specific order. WoW See Game Notes SWTOR The new hotness in SWTOR this month is The Pirate Incursion event on the new planet of Dantooine. That, together with double xp week, has been a prime time for leveling, rep grinding, and grinding just about any other rank or number you'd like to raise. The heroic quests were challenging enough to require groups, so guild groups and community pugs abounded. There are a number of achievements associated with stuff on Dantooine as well. The planet will be available for exploration and possibly even resource gathering after the event is over, but we don't know exactly what that will look like until next week. Some of those achievements may be doable then, or may require the event to be in progress. We shall see! After this week, the pirate event will go in rotation with all the existing events. In guild news, the June MEGA was a pvp night hosted by Marcus and coached by guildie Medullah. Medullah explained the pvp maps and gave insights into what to look for, when to use abilities, and lots of other good info. We used SWTOR's feature that allows us to have our own instance of a warzone to duke it out between two teams of guildies. We even had a small cheering section. We closed the night with a tour of guildie Liberty's Stronghold which was really incredible to see. Marcus wants to make Stronghold viewing a staple of MEGA, so if you'd like your Stronghold to be featured, just let him know. MFN continues on Tuesday nights, starting at 9PM Eastern. This week we ran around on Dantooine and did some grouping up for the heroics. In ops news after 6 months of working on Dread Fortress Hard Mode Deathstar Troopers we finally killed Brontes. Also, SUP has cleared five ops and counting, and apparently they’re having more fun than MarcusB.

The first post-launch content update was released this past Friday and unlocks the new World Tier 5 that features the latest Stronghold: Tidal Basin. Also, the first "Apparel Event" titled "Invasion" is running until May 2nd. During this time you can earn up to 30 apparel items. Should you earn them all during the event you'll be awarded a special apparel item: The Black Tusk uniform. These 30 items will be available in the usual apparel caches and store after the event, but you can only earn the special Black Tusk uniform during the event. Apparel items include clothing, weapon skins, and emotes. The first raid, an 8 player activity, will go live on April 25th, later this month and our clan members are eagerly awaiting it. Get in and gear up now. Ask about the game in AIE Discord's #thedivision2 text channel. Receiving an invite is as simple as asking for one there for your UPlay ID. You can also look up the clan, "AIE Nomads", and request an invite that way. WoW The AIE Alliance guild is growing with 119 characters currently. Reminder, you just need to submit an application in Umami, leave the Faction as Horde and the officers will correct it when reviewing the application. Don’t worry about the level either, just race/class and name and you’re set. We are still having issue with gmail accounts, so check the LFO channel for acceptance, as the officers will announce when they’ve accepted those applications. In game news, the Artifact Knowledge ramp up will continue for the next 4 weeks to make sure everyone is ready for the 8.2 content. A number of players have reached level 50 on their necklace and currently you do not get anything for completing WQ’s that award just azerite. Patch 8.2 is soon to be on the PTR (encrypted currently) and several outlets have had interviews with Ion Hazzikostas on what’s to come, mostly around systems, flying and very little on content spoilers. ESO Something big is being revealed/announced on January 15th at 5pm Eastern. Some of it has been datamined/leaked, and it looks like it's going involve Dragons, Breaking, Cat men and a new class of the -mancer variety. Twitch live stream planned for the 15th to talk about what is planned for 2019 which they are referring to as The Season of the Dragon. As of right now, thoughts are it will involve a new zone focused on the Khajitt, dragons, and possibly a necromancer class. Currently the Midyer Mayhem pvp event is in progress so people can earn event tickets to buy berries to evolve the Indrik that was obtainable in 2018. They have three additional events planned for the first quarter - The Morrowind Celebration, Thieves Guild & Dark Brotherhood Celebration, and the Jester's Festival. AIE News Community https://aie-guild.org/blog/2018/11/zen-and-bc-our-only-hope/ From time to time AIE evaluates the roles and jobs of the officer group that oversees all our game divisions and does the back end work. In doing that recently we identified the need for a bit more help in a couple areas. In particular, SWTOR 5.10 is going to take what we’ve been doing in that division with the guild “conquest” system and crank it up to 11 (and then to level 65+). Guild leveling, conquest changes and guild perks are going to require additional focus and officer roles. As a result, two new officers have been added! They will continue to be primarily SWTOR focused but we will be calling on them for help and guidance across the community as needed as well. BCavanagh – Bcav or BC has taken on the role of Conquest strategizer for the guild for many months with his contributions in this area extending out into the greater SWTOR gaming community as well. Zen – Zen has been with us for a few years now and true to his chosen gamer tag, he’s cool and level headed without fail. He is one of the top “helpers” in the guild, always ready to assist with any ask and goes out of his way constantly to make himself available. Servers or ‘worlds’ would occasionally have issues and crash, but there was always a new one waiting to move on to. PvP is a non-issue if you wish to avoid it, almost similar to warmode in WoW where if you don’t retaliate or are set in pacifist mode, it is not worth an attacker’s time to try to kill you. And if they are persistent, you can easily switch worlds and never see them again.

A ton of fun was had and we are looking forward to trying again next week. Kardinal, tell us your first hand experience with the chaos that is NOOB raid! (Can throw to Kardinal if you want; I was there. :) I can make a story of it. ) Noob raid’s been very popular, full/almost full every week. Been doing LFR, been successful, but in spirit of learning, wanted to deepen people’s knowledge 1shot Taloc, adjusted and 2shot Mother, laughed through trash, 1shot Fetid, and….we learned a lot on Vectis. Got the mechanics, need the practice. Failure is good. Teaches us that it’s okay and fun to fail. “Progression is wiping” Most importantly, we laughed and had fun and there was no tension. Maple Story 2 was released and we have at least couple guild members in there. In Destiny 2 news; The guild is still working towards getting the clan banner leveled to its maximum benefits, currently at level 2. For those that want to help with this goal, you will need to get to the current max level of 50 and then grab the daily clan bounties from Hawthorne at the Tower. There is normally 1 solo pve bounty, 2 solo crucible bounties, and 3 clan group bounties that are refreshed every day. Once we get to level 4, we will be able to complete the raid bounties. WoW Just a mechanical, behind the scenes change with guild invites. We have removed the pleb guild rank and everyone is now a Cohort by default. As the major reason for the two rank system is long gone (the rapid expansion of the guild in the early days), it didn’t make a lot of sense to keep the two rank system around and removes one of the headaches of the officers having to do promotions each month. NOMADS There has been an uptick in Destiny 2 activity with the announcements, from the website as well as E3, about new content coming and changes to the game. Essentially, the start of the new season brought back Faction Rallies and that event is going on now but ends Tues. It only lasts one week and there are rewards specific factions: gear, weapons, etc. There's also hype for the newly announced Forsaken Expansion 2 to the game. A handful of guardians are popping on to finish weekly events to level the Clan and obtain powerful engrams for all. The Clan is still accepting new members while anyone how hasn't been on in 4-6 months may be removed to make room for new members. You can always receive an invite back to the Clan though. ESO The newest chapter in the world of Tamriel, entitled Summerset, is going into pre-order pre-release on May 21st for the PC/Mac and for everyone (those plus PS4 and XBox1) on June 5th. FFXIV Patch 4.3 will be titled, Under the Moonlight, and will be available late may. New 24-player raid, continuing the Ivalice storyline, Pharos at Ridorana. New 8-player trial that is still under wraps. New Deep Dungeon, Heaven-on-High. Less of a deep dungeon and more of a tall tower. Heaven-on-High will have 30 floors of story content with floors 31-100 as challenge content. For those that have gone through stormblood, at least the Doma part of Stormblood, you might remember the large criss-cross tower in the Ruby Sea. The new FFXIV mobile app will be debuting on 4.3.

Time to cross off all those bucket list items, get your Allied races leveled, plan for your Orc’s new posture thanks to the chiropractor, I mean barbershop, and drool over the sweet new hair styles with exclusive ‘glowy bits’ coming to the Alliance side allied races! (Boo!) But hey, we got the best Antlers in the house (Moo!) The Battle for Lorderan is testable on the Alpha server (no voice overs or major spoiler cutscene available, yet) and shows what happens after the intro cinematic showing the two armies starting the battle. No word yet on Malfurion’s fumble fingers that started the fire in Teldrassil, but we’ll let you know when it’s available as well. If you are leveling an allied race and don’t want to leave Pandaria at 90, good news, the XP from quests, gathering, and mob kills stays decent up to level 94, so no need to rush to Alternate Timeline Draenor, hang out in Pandaria, do the intro quest to Warlords, start your garrison, and you can head right over to Taledor without needing to deal with Frostfire or Gorgrond. It's a great way to level alts for The War Within (with Beta starting June 5) and there's a ton of transmog, mounts, toys and pets to collect. Chen Stormstout's Hat and Keg? Theramore tabard? Yes Please! Saturday's Noob Mythics became a Remix run instead, and Raid Team Kiddie Aggro did Siege of Orgrimmar last week. Alliance Team Hell Froze Over may Remix Raid this week. Noob Raid cleared all but final boss Fyrakk in Awakened Amirdrassil on Saturday. Thanks as always to Dankinia our fearless floor tank! Also, Darkmoon Faire is up and the June Trading post arrived with a heartbreakingly cute assortment of summer gear including the Pearlescent Goblin Wave Shredder (a flying surfboard), Water Blaster BL (gun) a murloc floaty belt, lots of swimwear and a rainbow beach chair. More tendies needed! WoW Classic Sema has an update!!! Cataclysm launched, with little issue, it's been a pretty calm release. The guild has been busy doing content, and dungeons, and leveling professions. It's fun to see these zones again, and the dungeons as well. Several of us on the raid team have never raided these raids when it was current, so we are looking forward to it!

AIE News Imperium Ludi ESO news: The Dragon Bones update is now live with two new dungeons and accompanying new items sets, monster helms and achievements. There's only a handful of players in ESO these days but an AIE is available in game and a channel is active in Discord for those interested. NOMADS Season 13 in Diablo 3 has officially started and the group of usual suspects are in there doing our thing, come join us, it's free to play after all. And a new League will be starting in Path of Exile this coming Friday at 1pm ET, it, also, is free to play, and really a lot of fun. Come on by and give Apolas and Durus a shout. WoW Gusty is hosting a transmog swapmeet, a WoW event, for the Trial of Style, giving away transmog gear. This will include the final boss of the Gods From The Machine operation, conclusion to the Traitor story with a Flash Point on Nathema, and updates to Conquest, among other things. Mandatory Fun Night will be on Pub side this week running Dread Fortress and next week on Imp side running Dread Palace. FFXIV Personal housing is once more available. Raid Deltascape Savage now available. Little Ladies' Day, the next seasonal event starts on 1 March. It features concert glow lights, doll furniture display, and music. Our FC world server, Goblin in the Aether Data Center, still has the "Road to 60" buff that greatly boosts XP gains for jobs under level 60.

Rumor has it, the WoW team is cooking up something special for the February event based on an idea that Ralff had and the the SWTOR team has run in the past. Curious? So are we, can’t wait to find out more as we get closer to the event. On the Crowfall side of news, game is getting more finished and we'll surely have an open beta (currently still a kickstarter beta, and the kickstarter campaign is closed) this summer with release sometime this year. Still a lot of work but basic issues like animation cancellations and powers are fixed and are fluid now. More classes and races are in WoW Patch 7.3.5 - Patch Notes - https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/21365423 A lot of content shipped with this patch but isn’t available for play yet. If you have killed the last raid boss in Antorus on any difficulty, the character that killed him will get a new breadcrumb quest leading to Orgrimmar and the new quest line leading up to the next expansion, Battle For Azeroth. As of right now, you do need to kill the last boss in Antorus on each character you want to get the new content available to them, it is not account wide. No word if it will become account wide later in the patch cycle. For all you altoholics, the new zone scaling is in for all content zones as well as a nerf to XP gained both through heirloom gear and quest/mob XP rewards, so as they say in Pandaria “Slow Down!” and enjoy the leveling content. Holiday Dungeons are also now available to all characters starting at level 20 (same level as the new Allied races start at, coincidence? I think not) and the rewards will scale with character level. And, as of right now, all Dungeons reward personal loot, which means if you want a piece for transmog, you have to run it on a class capable of obtaining it from the loot table. Expect the prices of BoE greens to skyrocket. STO Captain Cybyl’s Star Trek Online News Summary for week ending 01/20/2018: 1. STO’s 8th Anniversary celebration is now upon us with new story arcs, featured episodes, Q’s party patrol, Omega particles, an anniversary T6 Interceptor starship giveaway, new and wondrous rewards and daily free prizes. The new featured episode to start the story arc, 'Scylla and Charybdis’, features Captain LeForge, Captain Kuumaarke and General Martok fighting the final, epic battle against the genocidal Tzenkethi.
