Over here @theafroanimistpodcast hq we have been stepping out! We are making an effort this year to go and take part in the events and work with the healers that inspire us. Last month we headed down to @hotyogapeckham to take @nurturingfolk beautiful ‘Rest and Renew’ Retreat!!! A mix of breath work and sound healing, became a very very juicy two hours of creating space to breath, be and actually relax. Ali @nurturingfolk took us on a deep and beautiful journey of release. I can’t say we were expecting it to be so powerful, but working with the breath creates such a wonderful opportunity to move and shift trauma stored in the body without having to actually think about it….
