In this episode, I had an incredible conversation with George, a retired FBI agent who served for 24 years and experienced multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. We discussed the importance of paperwork in the FBI, the adrenaline during combat situations, and how he managed to avoid long-term effects from his experiences. George also shared his insights on the different roles and responsibilities of agencies like the FBI, CIA, and Secret Service, emphasizing that there isn't a higher ranking among them but rather a focus on complementing each other to protect the United States and serve the American people. We also explored various aspects of being a retired FBI agent, such as carrying a weapon and the challenges faced while traveling. George recounted an interesting experience flying shortly after 9/11 when he had to transport a prisoner from Phoenix to New York on a commercial flight. The conversation touched on the thankless nature of the job and the internal recognition that agents receive, as well as the sense of impact they feel when making a positive difference in their community. George shared his proudest moments, which include being selected to join the FBI as an immigrant, working on high-profile cases such as the 9/11 investigation, and spending seven months interrogating Saddam Hussein. We also discussed the process of writing a book about the interrogation and the necessary steps to gain approval from the FBI. Additionally, George touched on his experiences as a police officer and how it compares to his time in the FBI. Finally, we delved into the impact of violence on society, discussing the differences between police officers, FBI agents, and the impact of events like 9/11 on counterterrorism efforts. George shared his insights on preventing school shootings, the importance of mental health support, and gun control. The conversation also touched on the contrast between brutal dictators like Saddam Hussein and serial killers, revealing the different motivations and impacts of their actions. Dewey Cooper is a renowned mixed martial arts (MMA) coach, former professional boxer, and kickboxer. Cooper won numerous titles throughout his boxing career, including the USBA Light Heavyweight title and the IBO Light Heavyweight title. He also transitioned into kickboxing and became a K-1 World Grand Prix finalist. After retiring from fighting, Cooper turned his attention to coaching, where he has become one of the most sought-after trainers in the MMA world. He has worked with top athletes such as Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Wanderlei Silva, and Kevin Lee, helping them hone their striking skills and improve their overall performance in the cage. Cooper's coaching style is known for its emphasis on technique, footwork, and conditioning. He is known for pushing his fighters to their limits and helping them unlock their full potential. Cooper's dedication and hard work have earned him the respect and admiration of fighters and coaches alike.

Ode' Osbourne

Ode' Osbourne, also known as "The Jamaican Sensation," is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the bantamweight division. Osbourne began training in martial arts at a young age, starting with karate and later transitioning to kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He made his professional MMA debut in 2015 and quickly gained a reputation for his striking ability and dynamic fighting style. In 2019, Osbourne earned a contract with the UFC after impressing Dana White and the judges on the reality show "Dana White's Contender Series." He made his UFC debut on January 18, 2020, where he faced off against Brian Kelleher. Although he lost the fight, Osbourne demonstrated his tenacity and toughness in the octagon.
