| I Got Braces Again… and It Changed How I Measure Success | 12 Jan 2026 | 00:14:41 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. Today is story time. And yes, it involves braces. But this isn't really about teeth. It's about the moment you realize your younger self would be absolutely blown away by the life you've built… Even if you don't feel successful day-to-day. In this episode, I share a personal story that snapped me back into perspective, then break down the psychology that keeps high performers stuck in "the gap" and constantly chasing more. You'll leave with a simple reframe to feel proud of your progress, stop letting comparison run your goals, and start measuring success in a way that actually aligns with your values.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why getting braces again unexpectedly brought up old versions of me ↠ Growing up in poverty and what "success" used to feel like ↠ Working at Kinko's, going to school full-time, and paying for everything myself ↠ The $8 burrito moment and what it revealed about survival-mode ambition ↠ The emotional contrast of paying for braces now without financial stress ↠ Why you don't always feel successful when you become successful ↠ The trap of living in "the gap" and never looking backward ↠ Meeting your past self and recognizing the tenacity that built your current life ↠ How comparison erases perspective and fuels dissatisfaction ↠ A powerful money mindset insight from Morgan Housel ↠ Why money is a great tool, but a terrible servant when it's used for status ↠ The deserted island test: Would you still want it if no one could see it? ↠ The 48-hour status boost (and why chasing it never ends) ↠ A grounding question to reset what you're going after next ↠ Choosing goals based on values instead of optics

| Top Performers Still Feel Imposter Syndrome (Here's What They Do Anyway) | 05 Jan 2026 | 00:10:46 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. If you've ever assumed top reps are just built differently, this episode is going to be a relief. I was on a call with a client recently and told them I experience imposter syndrome, too. Their reaction was basically, "Wait… YOU?" And honestly, that's exactly why I wanted to record this. Because I've coached hundreds of enterprise and strategic AEs over the past eight years, including reps who became #1 on their team, #1 in their org, hit President's Club, closed mega deals, and earned seven figures in commission. And here's the truth: they're not robots. They're normal humans with self-doubt, insecurity, and imposter syndrome… they've just learned how to work with their brain instead of letting it run the show. In this episode, I'm breaking down what's actually happening inside the heads of top performers, and the simple mindset shifts they use to stay consultative, confident, and consistent even when their inner critic is loud.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ The surprising truth about top reps: they still struggle with self-doubt ↠ What actually separates top performers from the reps who stay stuck ↠ Why belief is the real differentiator (and how to build it) ↠ The strength-first approach: optimize what you're good at instead of "fixing" everything ↠ My favorite mantra for nervous systems that spiral: "I always figure it out." ↠ How to stop being trapped in your head by getting into the buyer's world ↠ The consultative mindset shift that makes you instantly more confident ↠ Detaching from the outcome so you stop selling from scarcity ↠ The real goal of selling: solve real problems, don't pressure people ↠ Why imposter syndrome hits women, men, and minorities and why feeling "different" amplifies it ↠ Small tweaks that create massive performance results (the batting coach approach) ↠ Why you're closer than you think to your best year ever

I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success.
In this episode, I walk you through a planning shift that takes 5-7 minutes and can easily give you two hours back in your day by cutting down decision fatigue, distractions, and low-value busywork.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why planning is simply making decisions in advance (and why that matters) ↠ Treating your future self like an employee you're setting up for success ↠ A Monday "list-making day" for when you struggle to get going ↠ Daily planning: morning vs end-of-day and how to stop night-time rumination ↠ What actually happens to your quota when you "just start working" without a plan ↠ Different rhythms to test: daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning ↠ Using a 12 Week Year-style quarter to make decisions once and simply execute ↠ How to build a personal operating system that makes sense to you (not LinkedIn) ↠ Dropping the "shoulds" and letting your planning style match your actual brain

Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. If you've ever taken the Enneagram and discovered you're a Type 3 (The Achiever) or if you simply act like one, this episode will feel like someone finally put words to your inner world. Achievers push themselves relentlessly. In this episode, I break down what drives Enneagram 3s, why achievement becomes tied to self-worth, and how to break out of the "always chasing, never satisfied" cycle without losing your ambition. You'll walk away with practical tools to feel more grounded, worthy, and whole, without losing the part of you that loves to grow.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ What it actually means to be an Enneagram 3 ↠ Why Achievers tie their value to success (and where that starts) ↠ Childhood moments that wire achievement into our identity ↠ The endless pressure to measure worth by quotas, results, and milestones ↠ The trap of never remembering your wins ↠ The gap vs. the gain (and why it matters so much for 3s) ↠ Why personal development can become a weapon against yourself ↠ The power of feeling emotions instead of "fixing" yourself ↠ How growth can still be fun, without defining your worth ↠ What changes when you believe you're already whole

| I Got Addicted to AI. Here's What It Cost Me | 27 Apr 2026 | 00:16:22 | |

I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success.
In this episode, I get real about something a lot of high performers aren't saying out loud: AI isn't just a tool, it can become a full-blown dopamine trap. If you've ever felt behind, obsessed with optimizing, or quietly burning out while "being productive," this conversation will hit home. By the end, you'll walk away with a grounded, practical way to use AI without letting it take over your time, energy, and priorities.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ My honest confession: becoming addicted to AI and how it started creeping into my daily life

Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. You're not broken because your last few jobs haven't worked. You might just be a really great plant… in the wrong environment. In this episode, I'm sharing my "humans as plants" framework to help you figure out whether the problem is you or the job, how to understand what kind of environment you actually thrive in, and how to start looking for roles that are a match for your nervous system, your ambition, and your brain. | How to Build Structure When You Hate Routine | 24 Nov 2025 | 00:16:55 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. You don't need a 5am routine. You need a rhythm that actually fits you. If you're someone who craves structure but instantly rebels the moment you try to create it, you're not broken. You're not undisciplined. You're not "bad at routines." You're a human with a nervous system and a brain that likes freedom, and there's nothing wrong with that. You don't need perfect consistency to thrive. You just need rhythm. You just need tools that meet you where you are, not where some imaginary version of you "should" be. In this episode, I'm sharing four strategies that help you build focus, accountability, and flow without overpowering your natural way of being. These are the tools I use myself on the days when structure feels impossible and my inner rebel wants to throw the whole plan away.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why consistency isn't a moral virtue — it's a tool, not a personality test ↠ How to check in daily without judgment and meet yourself where you are ↠ The "toolbox" method that makes discipline flexible ↠ Why quick recovery beats perfect consistency every time ↠ How to rename tasks to trick your brain into enjoying structure ↠ The subtle psychology of self-compassion and productivity

| Everyone's Saying Adult Friendships Are Hard: Do This | 29 Sep 2025 | 00:20:30 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. I'm weirdly passionate about adult friendships, mostly because no one teaches us how to do them. As kids, friendships just happen. You sit next to someone in class, or play on the same team, and boom! BEST FRIENDS. But as adults? It feels awkward. You want deeper friendships, but how do you even start? You can't exactly walk up to someone at the park and say, "Hey, want to be my best friend?" Here's the good news: friendships aren't magic. They're built. And there's actual research, practical strategies, and even some scripts that make it so much easier.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why adult friendships feel harder than childhood friendships

| How To Have Self Compassion For Higher Performance | 22 Sep 2025 | 00:23:25 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. Most of us think that being hard on ourselves is what drives results. Hustle. Grind. Fear. The inner critic. We've trained ourselves to believe that's what works. But here's the truth: it works until it burns you out. If you actually want higher performance, faster recovery, and long-term success, the secret isn't pushing harder. It's practicing self-compassion. Not fluffy, feel-good stuff. The science shows it increases resilience, motivation, and performance. In this episode, I share the research, my own resistance to self-compassion, and the exact techniques I used (yes, even asking ChatGPT for help) that changed everything.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why "hustle harder" is a short-term strategy that leads to burnout

| Forget Consistency. Here's What Actually Matters | 15 Sep 2025 | 00:10:12 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. We've all been told, "Success is on the other side of consistency." Books like The Compound Effect make it sound like the only way forward is to stick to a habit perfectly, forever. But what if that's not true for you? What if consistency is nearly impossible, and beating yourself up about it is doing more damage than good? In this episode, I share what I've learned (with ADHD and from hundreds of high-achieving clients) about why traditional consistency advice doesn't always work and the surprising reframe that can actually make you more consistent by trying less hard to be consistent.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why "be consistent" advice leaves so many of us stuck in shame

Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they work and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. Do you secretly dread hearing the words "I have some feedback for you"? I know feedback is supposed to make us better but for so many of us, especially high achievers with ADHD or imposter feelings, feedback feels like a gut punch. Instead of fueling growth, it can send us into shame spirals, rejection sensitivity, or black-and-white thinking that leaves us doubting ourselves. In this episode, I share my own journey with feedback, the books, the frameworks, and the mindset shifts that finally freed me from feeling crushed every time someone pointed out an area to improve. You'll learn how to tell the difference between appreciation, coaching, and evaluation feedback… plus how to spot the triggers that make feedback feel unbearable and what to do with them. Feedback doesn't have to be your enemy. In fact, it can become one of the most powerful accelerators of your career and confidence, once you learn how to metabolize it.
🎯 In this episode: ↠ Why feedback feels threatening (especially with ADHD & rejection sensitivity)

| It for the Plot: How to Find More Meaning in Your Career (and Life) | 14 Jul 2025 | 00:13:48 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. You hit six figures. You got the job. You did everything you thought would finally make you feel successful… and yet, you still feel stuck. In this episode, I'm naming something most high performers are too busy (or too proud) to admit: that outward success doesn't always equal inner satisfaction. I share how I built a career chasing milestones, and how it left me feeling disconnected, directionless, and emotionally flat. That's when I found the "Hero on a Mission" framework. And it changed everything.
In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why reaching your goals doesn't guarantee fulfillment ↠ The trap of moving mile markers and chasing the next high ↠ A narrative shift: what if you're the hero of a story? ↠ The "Will the hero…" question that rewires how you live ↠ How writing your eulogy creates instant clarity You'll walk away with a powerful mindset shift that turns everyday decisions into plot-building moments, and your life into a meaningful story.

Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success. Let's be honest: perfectionism used to work. It helped you over-deliver, hide your self-doubt, and push through the pressure. But now? It's burning you out. In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on how perfectionism really shows up, especially for high-achievers who've been hustling their whole careers. I share how I used it to mask my ADHD, imposter syndrome, and fear of being "found out"… and why it stopped working. You'll learn 3 practical, slightly uncomfortable, totally liberating tactics I've used myself (and with clients) to shift out of perfectionist mode and get more done, with less mental drama. In this episode, I riff on: ↠ The real reason you're procrastinating (hint: it's not laziness) Perfectionism can look like ambition, but it's actually fear wearing a nice blazer. If you're craving more freedom, more energy, and better results with less pressure, this episode is your permission slip. ✨ Let's test a different way of working, one that actually feels good.

| How to Stop Fixing Yourself and Start Living | 06 Apr 2026 | 00:12:21 | |
Welcome to the The Achievers Podcast. I'm your host, Amber Deibert, Performance Coach. I help enterprise sellers unlock their full potential by aligning their work with how they workout and cleaning up mindset trash, so they can sell more, stress less, and take back control of their time and success.
Most high performers have a mental checklist of things they think they need to fix: the anxiety, the imposter syndrome, the procrastination, the people-pleasing. And the belief is that once it's all cleaned up, THEN they'll go after the big goal. That day never comes. In this episode, I share my own version of this trap (including the posture story I've been carrying for decades), introduce the concept of dialectical thinking from DBT, and give you a simple reframe: two things can be true at once. You can have problems AND be wildly successful. You can feel nervous AND take bold action. You don't need to fix anything. You can if you want to, but you don't need to.
🎯 In this episode, I riff on: ↠ Why high achievers wrongly believe they need to "fix themselves" before succeeding
