| How Olympians Set and Achieve Goals | 19 Sep 2024 | 00:07:20 | |
Grace's alarm blared at 4:30 AM. Ugh. Most people were still sound asleep, when she dragged herself out of bed, pulled on her training gear, and headed out into the predawn chill. After two hours of grueling sprints in the rain later, she trudged home, exhausted and oddly exhilarated.
As she ate breakfast, her mind wandered to the poster above her desk: the Olympic rings, a symbol she'd stared at almost every day for the past six years. Was it worth it? The missed parties, the aching muscles, the endless sacrifices? Of course, she told herself. To stand on that Olympic podium? Nothing in the world would compare.
We may not all dream of Olympic gold, but there's something we can learn from athletes like Grace. The single-minded focus, the ability to break down daunting goals, and the resilience to bounce back from setbacks aren't superpowers reserved only for elite competitors.
Whether you dream of running your first marathon, landing that big deal, or finally mastering a new language, how Olympians approach goals can help us tackle the challenges in our lives.
Why Olympic-Level Goal Setting Matters Sure, reaching the Olympics is a monumental feat for some. If that's not your ambition, the goal setting process is still transformative. You'll build discipline, discover hidden strengths, and perhaps even surprise yourself with your capabilities. So, what's your Everest? It's time to start climbing!

| Interview with Andrea Nicholson, Holistic Nutrition and Lifestyle Consultant | 25 Apr 2023 | 00:35:21 | |
I know you will find my guest to be very knowledgeable about helping you be as healthy as possible, so you can achieve the goals you have set for your business and in our life. Andrea Nicholson is a Board-Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Nutrition Therapist Master, and Restorative Wellness Practitioner. In her "previous life" as a forensic scientist and crime lab manager, she learned a very valuable skill - how to identify and follow the evidence to solve mysteries and people are glad she is applying this valuable skill. Using over a decade of experience in the health industry, Andrea creates personalized packages using functional testing and other cutting-edge technologies to give people confidence in achieving and maintaining improved health, so they can get the results they want. Here are a few questions I asked AndreaNicholson that you will benefit from by listening to her interview: · Generally speaking, what are some common myths and misconceptions in the health industry that we may NOT know? · Why do you focus on blood sugar and insulin (isn't that just for those with Diabetes)? · What is insulin resistant mean and how can having this negatively impact us? · How might someone know they have gut health issues (is it always digestive symptoms or maybe no symptoms that we notice)? · What is metabolic health and who should really consider a metabolic health reset (or who needs to focus on metabolic health)? · Getting enough sleep is important as we all know. How does sleep actually play a role in our day-to-day productivity and success outcomes? · How might someone who is working long hours, and therefore not prioritizing quality sleep or nutrition, be sabotaging their business success? · Other than food choices, cortisol (stress), sleep, and exercise, what else could be preventing a person from reaching their goals? | 4 Tips to Motivate Behavior Change in Your Team | 30 Mar 2023 | 00:06:58
When you start a company and build it up from nothing, it can be easy for you to be motivated to continue its growth. Of course, you want it to succeed—it’s your business baby! But for employees who haven’t been on that journey from the start, it can be harder to motivate behavior change in them. Leading a team comes with its own challenges. There may be times when productivity wanes, or team members start cutting corners. A great leader empowers and inspires their team—which is easier said than done. Let’s explore four tips to help you drive change in your employees’ behaviors and actions. 1. Communicate Your Vision 2. Demonstrate Trust in Your Team 3. Take Time to Understand Individuals on Your Team 4. Highlight Your Team’s Accomplishments Motivating behavior change is a bigger part of being a great leader than you may think. It’s tough to build a business alone, and having a team whose strengths complement yours is invaluable. Maybe you have no idea how to motivate your team. The solution? Just ask. Get to know your team on a personal level. You can even ask them directly what motivates them. Once you understand what makes each person tick, provide coaching, and feedback, and then give them space to take steps towards their clearly defined goals. Changing behavior isn’t something that can be forced—but by following these four tips, you can create greater motivation around behavior change for your team. | 3 Ways to Stop Wasting Time and Stay Laser Focused | 16 Mar 2023 | 00:13:45
Most entrepreneurs have a difficult time understanding exactly how to stop wasting time. When you’re self-employed, it’s easy to take a “short break” to surf the internet, check email, return a call, talk to a peer who stops by your office, or read blogs, but those “short breaks” can easily turn into hours of wasted time each day. This includes unnecessary chats with colleagues, long lunches, or non-focused or misguided meetings that do not accomplish goals and resolve issues. The success of your business venture depends on your ability to buckle down and learn how to stay laser focused. Let’s talk about three essential steps to help you stop wasting time, stay focused, and have productive work days, so you can be on the path of achieving your goals. 1. Always Prioritize 2. Get Organized Answer this question, How much time do you think you waste each day? Remember it all adds up. Five minutes here, 10 minutes there, and 30 minutes on something fun yet not productive. Did you know that some of the most productive people in the world swear by time blocking? Ever heard of Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Michael Hyatt, or Cal Newport? Yep – all time-blockers. They’re squeezing every drop of productivity from their days, and so can you. For more on time blocking, check out an article I wrote by going to https://bit.ly/Time_Blocking. Consider using a time log to occasionally monitor what you do with your time every day for a week or two. You might be amazed at how you actually spend your time versus how you think you spend your time. To download a sample time log, go to http://www.accountabilitycoach.com/time-log/. Simple instructions come with this exercise to help you fill it out. 3. Delegate! Delegate! Delegate! To download my Free Delegation Exercise to help you identify even more activities to delegate, go to http://www.accountabilitycoach.com/delegation-list-sample/. | Use the 80/20 Rule to Grow Your Business | 09 Mar 2023 | 00:08:32
If your business is not growing, you need to get a handle on the way you’re running it. Many business owners tend to spend a great amount of time performing unnecessary tasks that contribute little to the growth of your business. The 80/20 rule, otherwise known as the Pareto Principle, teaches that only 20% of your actions should lead to 80% of your results. Get a handle on your business by putting the 80/20 rule into effect and identifying your high payoff tasks. The 80/20 Rule (Pareto Principle) Explained Developed in the early 19th century by Vilfredo Pareto, an Italian economist, the Pareto Principle was used to explain why only 20% of the population was responsible for 80% of the country’s wealth. It was later in the mid-1900s that the theory of the Pareto Principle was modified by Dr. Joseph Duran. When applied to cause and effect, he theorized that 20% of actions (cause) would produce 80% of the end results (effect). Because Duran’s theory expanded on Pareto’s original version of the 80/20 rule, Dr. Duran’s theory soon became known solely as the Pareto Principle. What the Pareto Principle Means for Your Business The 80/20 rule can be applied to pretty much any situation, but, it is especially beneficial when applied to a business (especially if you’re currently a one person show). The 80/20 rule isn’t just another ordinary time/business management method; when used effectively, it holds the power to drastically increase your income and free up your very valuable time, allowing your business to grow. Maybe this means that you can cut down on staff by weeding out tasks that are completely unnecessary by setting up an automated system. Perhaps it means that it is time for you to hire an assistant or virtual assistant to whom you can delegate low-priority tasks. Using the 80/20 rule to identify the high payoff tasks within your business and automate the low-priority or non-income driving tasks will allow you the freedom you need to grow revenue. To download my Free Sample Prioritized Action List (PAL) that everyone in your office can use, go to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/pal-sample/. Identify the High Payoff Tasks For the purpose of putting Duran’s theory into context, let’s say that 20% of your employees are responsible for driving 80% of your sales, or 20% of your clients make up 80% of your product or Unlock a blueprint to creating and having your ideal business and ideal life by scheduling your free consultation with me today! It may seem counter-intuitive for you to carve time out of this limited resource for something as inconsequential as a hobby, but the powers and value of hobbies are not to be overlooked and underestimated. Many highly successful entrepreneurs carve out time from their busy routines for their hobbies. Others learn new habits and add them to their growing list. What these two types of people can agree on is that having a hobby outside of work is beneficial. Why? We're all guilty of putting off a task because "I don't feel like doing it" or "I'll do it later." If you wait until the last moment to get started on your task, you may be wondering why you procrastinated. Tim Urban, founder of the famous blog, Wait But Why, is no exception. Urban shared a story of his 90-page senior thesis in college and how he spent months thinking, 'I'll get it started on it tomorrow.' | 8 Common Behaviors of All Successful Entrepreneurs | 18 Jul 2024 | 00:09:42
Entrepreneurs are extremely driven and have a knack for getting what they want. Though they’re often under immense pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities, the best entrepreneurs seem to handle everything with grace while still coming out on top. So, what types of behaviors allow them to get ahead and win that we can implement?
Let’s explore eight habits that successful entrepreneurs swear by. Whether you’re just beginning your entrepreneurial journey or find yourself questioning your next move, you can find inspiration and direction from these eight habits.
Nearly half (42.6%) of entrepreneurs fear failure, despite evidence that business owners need to be comfortable with failure and learn from the experience. This fear of not succeeding is what’s detrimental to businesses, not the failure itself. The fear of failure is obviously bad for your business, so you need to quickly learn to overcome it.
How an entrepreneur deals with failure impacts how their direct reports bounce back from them also. Want more proven business success tips and resources? Subscribe to my blog by going to www.acountabilitycoach.com/blog.

| Identify Your Limiting Beliefs for Limitless Potential | 26 Jan 2023 | 00:11:52 | |
Growth is a human need, and we all have desires and goals in life. Maybe you want to start your own business, change your career, change your business model, or you want to strengthen your relationships. But something inside you is constantly nagging you, telling you can’t do it, you shouldn’t do it, and you mustn’t do it. Here’s the plain truth: that tugging feeling stopping you is an excuse – it’s a falsely conditioned perception of reality based on old memories. The fact is that the only thing stopping you from achieving new heights and personal greatness is your limiting belief system. To become the most powerful version of yourself, you need to identify and overcome your limiting beliefs. Belief is a state of mind – when you’re confident that something truly exists. It is something that an individual trusts to be facts, thus making it troublesome for you to identify them. These beliefs, unfortunately, limit you from recognizing your true potential and achieving even greater success in all areas of business and life. In most cases, the beliefs you hold are unconscious thoughts that manifest as defense mechanisms. How Do You Identify Limiting Beliefs? Limiting beliefs resemble mental barriers hindering you from achieving your goals and unlocking your true potential. The beliefs you hold can inhibit you from creating the reality you desire and deserve. What are three easy ways to overcome your limiting beliefs? 1. Acknowledge that Your Beliefs are Not Truths and Challenge Them 2. Organize Your Environment 3. Change Your Self-Talk Remember that you are capable of anything and that you are in total control of your life. You need to identify and overcome your limiting beliefs to enable yourself to achieve your dreams. It’s time to let go of your limiting beliefs and reach new and greater heights. | 7 Time Management Tips to Increase Your Productivity | 19 Jan 2023 | 00:10:38
As a business owner, it’s hard to find enough time in the day to get everything done. From managing your team to guiding the trajectory of your business, it feels like you’re constantly bouncing from task to task but never really getting as much done as you need to and want to. By putting a solid time management system in place, you can automate as much as possible, so you can focus your brain power on the activities that truly need your attention. I’m going to share seven tips that can help you to establish a system that works for you and will help you to take back your very valuable time, so you can be even more productive, and increase your overall success. 1. Use Time Blocking on Your Calendar It can be very easy to be pulled in multiple directions throughout the day and try to multitask your way through a never-ending to-do list. By using time blocking for specific activities each day, you can focus on one thing at a time. For example, if you block off 11:00am to 11:30am to catch up on and respond to emails, then do your best to NOT check emails the rest of the day. If you need to, you can have two (or more, depending on your needs) time slots for emails throughout the day. I strongly recommend that you don’t have the “check email” time block as the first activity you do each day of the work week. For more on time blocking, go to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/how-to-increase-your-business-efficiency-with-calendar-time-blocks/. You can also use time blocking to dedicate specific days of the week to certain areas of your business. For example, Mondays could be for reaching out to new partners or vendors, Fridays could be a strategy day, Wednesdays could be for client acquisition and revenue generation activities. Time blocking helps you to group tasks by projects or task type, so you can focus on one type of task at a time. If you’re responsible for content creation, such as writing blog posts, it may be easier to knock out a couple of posts within an hour than to do one blog post and then shift your mindset to working on company finances. In other words, do as many similar activities together as possible for maximum time efficiency. Having a set schedule that includes when to work on certain activities, whether it’s written or on your phone, saves you from taking time to think about what to wo Unlock a blueprint to creating and having your ideal business and ideal life by scheduling your free consultation with me today! | How to Re-Evaluate and Re-Set Your Goals for Increased Success | 12 Jan 2023 | 00:08:59
Today we are talking about 5 Tips on How to Re-Evaluate and Re-Set Your Goals for Increased Success. As an entrepreneur, you most likely have a list of goals for your business. But setting it and forgetting it isn’t the way to go. It’s important to revisit your goals periodically to make sure they still align with your vision. The business landscape may change, or new trends may pop up, bringing new opportunities to re-examine your goals and shift your focus. Re-evaluating your goals also allows you to measure your progress and make adjustments where necessary. When should you take a closer look at your goals? You should be checking in with yourself and your team consistently, whether that’s weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Apart from the consistent check-ins, you can also revisit your goals when there are changes in your organization, such as a shift to remote work, new technology innovations, a growing team across multiple locations, or an acquisition or merger. Use these five tips, I’m about to share with you, to help you re-evaluate and re-set your goals! 1. Start with your long-term, larger goals. What is the longer-term vision for your company? What is it that you want to accomplish or solve for? Write down your long-term goals, ideally documented for your team to look at also. A study conducted by Professor Gail Matthews found that people who write down their goals are 20% more successful in accomplishing them than those who don’t. Your team should be clear on what your company’s goals are, so that everything they do helps push the company forward towards those goals. Once you have a list of your larger goals, break them down into smaller goals with a milestone of when you want to achieve them. By having a milestone in place, it gives you an actionable date to work towards, and you can track your progress along the way. For example, if your long-term goal is to sell your business, a smaller goal might be to secure several major partnerships and clients. Set a specific, actionable goal for the quarter, such as “Secure [type of partnership] partnership with [target partner] by [date].” Hitting those smaller goals will help you to work towards the larger vision. 2. Determine what’s working or not working. Do your business goals still serve your target audience in the best way possible? | 10 Ideas to Help You Stick to Goals and Accelerate Your Results | 05 Jan 2023 | 00:09:38
10 Ideas to Help You Stick to Goals and Accelerate Your Results We tend to begin a new mission with the best of intentions and expectations; however, it's easy to fall off the wagon way too quickly. Let’s explore ten ways to help you stick to your goals, so you can increase, and possibly accelerate, your business success and be on the path to having and enjoying your ideal business and ideal life. 1. Imagine Yourself Accomplishing it. Big goals can seem irresistible, particularly if they lead to fundamental lifestyle changes. There's a plus aspect, though: You can be sure you'll feel somewhat different, in a positive way, when you accomplish them. Whenever your enthusiasm wanes, imagine how accomplished you'll feel when you reach the finish line. Visualize yourself succeeding. What does it feel like, sound like, and look like? Create a game plan for you to get the outcome you envisioned. 2. Evaluate Now Against Later. You can be persuaded to skip an early morning workout instead of sleeping in, or dig into the chips and dip when you know you need to eat a healthy meal. When you depend on pure determination to do or not make something, attempt to contemplate how much long-term satisfaction you'll get out of it. Compare the success you've imagined, to the one you’ve achieved and see how great you’ve done and how much progress you have made. 3. Build Accountability. Talk with a friend or peer about what you need to do to achieve your goals, then set a deadline and document your progress using a simple spreadsheet for your key metrics. For many people, it's crucial to feel accountable to somebody other than yourself and you can build the same motivation through talking about your goals with others. If you need to eat healthier, create a better eating challenge with friends at work, for example. Want to do more prospecting calls to increase revenue? Set weekly call goals with a peer. 4. Break it Down into Manageable Pieces. No matter what you need to achieve, it can be broken down into minor pieces. Rather than mustering the motivation to work out, push yourself to get up and put on your exercise clothes. Instead of tidying up the house, pick up a few misplaced items. Once you've begun moving in the right path, it's much simpler to keep going, making it more likely that you'll finish the chore. 5. Take a Day Off. It may be counterintuitive, but you do Unlock a blueprint to creating and having your ideal business and ideal life by scheduling your free consultation with me today! | Happy New Year! Let’s kick some butt in 2023! | 03 Jan 2023 | 00:02:06
“What the New Year brings to you will depend a great deal on what you bring to the New Year.” I think this is a great quote by Vern McLellan.
We all have 365 days in a year. The only difference between the successful people and the mediocre is what we do with each day. We spend every second of every day doing something. Are those activities moving you forward or keeping you where you currently are?
I just wanted to take a quick moment to say how much I appreciate your business and continued support.
It is a pleasure for me to be able to serve entrepreneurs and business professionals like you.
I believe that you and I have the ability to have a positive impact on this world. That's why I'm so excited to serve our community.
2022 has been written and I hope our relationship will grow into something even more amazing in 2023.
When hard-working, values- and goals-driven people like you and I put our heads together, there's no limit to what we can accomplish.
Thank you for your continued support and I hope you let me know how else I can be of service to you in 2023 and beyond.
I wish you a very healthy, happy, and profitable new year.
Oprah Winfrey said: “Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.”
I welcome your comments and feedback on how I can help you make 2023 your best year ever! Aim for what you want each and every day! Until next time, make it a great day, today and every day. I very much appreciate you listening.

| 4 Ways to Help You Rediscover a Passion for Your Business | 10 Nov 2022 | 00:07:15 | |
[[:encoded, "We’ve all heard the phrase “Do what you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” But what if we start falling out of love with that one thing? How do we rediscover our passion for our business and become re-inspired?\n\nIt’s completely normal not to have the same gumption for your business that you did when you first launched it. Back then, everything was new, and you were discovering and learning every single day. But now, years have passed, and you may find yourself doing the same thing day in and day out. Maybe you’re even wondering if you made the right decision to pursue growing this business.\n\nIf your business no longer serves your needs and you’re not finding fulfillment in it at all, then maybe it’s a sign to quit and start over. However, maybe all you need is a boost to get your creative juices flowing again and rediscover the love for your business.\n\n1. Look for new ways to challenge yourself.\n\nLearning something new can kickstart your mind and help you start thinking more creatively again. While your business may be in a stable place, there may be opportunities you’re missing out on by not exploring new ways to grow.\n\nStudy new trends and challenge yourself to make them relevant to your business, if it makes sense to. It’s always a good idea to stay up to date with new technology, new ways to create and distribute content, and new ideas popping up in your industry or other industries.\n\nSet new goals for yourself and for your business. It could be a collaboration with a larger brand, a higher sales goal, adding a new product or service, or growing your team. With each new goal comes a new challenge, and pushing yourself can be the inspiration you need to fall back in love with what you do.\n\n2. Find a mentee to share your wisdom with.\n\nYou may have knowledge about your industry and business that you take for granted, especially if you’ve been growing your business for many years. By finding a mentee to share your wisdom with, you’ll be able to see things through fresh eyes and gain a greater appreciation for the knowledge that you’ve amassed over the years. Seeing your mentee get excited about what you do can also remind you of what got you into doing what you do in the first place.\n\nBy revisiting certain ways of doing things, you may even discover that there have been new developments for improved ways of doing the same work, which will help you to expand your wisdom of knowledge and become more successful in y Unlock a blueprint to creating and having your ideal business and ideal life by scheduling your free consultation with me today! | 6 Ways That Mindfulness and Exercise Impact Business Success | 03 Nov 2022 | 00:09:12
[[:encoded, "Practicing yoga and mindfulness has many health benefits. Yoga is a low-impact form of exercise that can lead to better heart health and help with back pain relief that many entrepreneurs can use. Mindfulness and meditation can lead to better cognitive health and improved moods. In addition to the health benefits that mindfulness and exercise bring, they can contribute positively to our business success as well.\n\nIn a fast-paced business world, learning how to slow down is immensely important, and can give you an edge over your competitors. Not only that, but calming our minds and being able to craft a clear vision and leave room for inspired thoughts is a practice that we can refine and utilize to push our business forward.\n\nLet’s now explore the six ways that mindfulness and exercise can impact your business success. \n\n1. Mindfulness gives us clarity over our business vision\nMindfulness is being aware of your thoughts, your feelings, and your environment. It’s the act of removing ourselves from the hustle and bustle of our current state, and creating space for our mind to wander and to reconnect with ourselves. By practicing mindfulness, we can gain important insights into our vision for our business.\n\nYou can practice mindfulness with just a few simple steps:\n\nFocus on Your Breathing\nStart a steady pattern of breathing in, holding it for a few seconds, and then exhaling out. Feel the sensation of your breath as it comes in through your nose and out through your mouth.\n\nBe Aware of Your Body\nAs you breathe, start to be more aware of your body. Pay attention to how you’re feeling and the places where you are holding tension, and breathe through it to release the tension.\n\nLet Your Mind Wander\nGive your mind the freedom to wander. You may be surprised where it takes you when you’re not hyper-focused on your to-do list (or Prioritized Action List (PAL) as I like to call it).\n\nAllowing ourselves the space to be present in the moment helps strip away things that may seem more pressing. You may be stressing about how to move your business forward and practicing mindfulness could bring you back to a place of remembering your “why” and what you’re truly passionate about, which could provide clarity into a longer-term vision.\n\n2. Meditation keeps us calm in the face of tumultuous times\nMeditation helps us take a step back and refocus ourselves. When your business is in the midst of difficult times, meditating can help us to regain contr Unlock a blueprint to creating and having your ideal business and ideal life by scheduling your free consultation with me today! | How Positive Self Talk Will Overcome Limiting Beliefs | 27 Oct 2022 | 00:11:25
[[:encoded, "We’re all writers, crafting a lengthy narrative with the best chapters possible. But often, we create loopholes in our story of success ourselves. Do you know how? By letting our limiting beliefs hold us back from achieving what is within our grasp. \n\nLimiting beliefs are misconstrued thoughts, with no foundation or reality. They stem from certain bad experiences from the past, hereditary experiences, or from societal and cultural restrictions. But the fact is that limiting beliefs hold us back. They don’t allow us the grand and successful ending your truly deserve. \n\nIf you are in a quest to overcome any limiting beliefs you might have, keep listening in. I’m here to tell you how self-talk is the key to overcoming them and finding your freedom. \n\nOvercome Limiting Beliefs - Here’s How\nMany of us consciously or unconsciously tend to develop limiting beliefs in childhood or teenage years. They may stem from a devastating personal experience or by seeing the experiences of others in our circle. Fact is that these become a permanent part of our personality by the time we have matured. \n\nThe unfortunate consequence of failing to overcome our limiting beliefs is that we fail to play big and shine like we could have. We let the limiting mindset pull us back from our calling, such as our business venture, for example. \n\nWhen you shift from your limiting beliefs, you begin experiencing greater victories, start feeling happier, and more fulfilled. Let’s explore how you can shift from limiting beliefs to having an empowering mindset.\n\n1. Pause to Think \nWhenever you plan a new venture, a new break, or a new change and fears erupt, then pause and reflect on your fears. Remind yourself that you are simply in a low-mood and thinking about your upcoming activity is not the right thing to do at the moment. \n\n2. Address each Limiting Belief\nThe best way to do this is to write down each limiting belief. For example, if you are planning to launch a vegan food line, some of the limiting beliefs you could have are:\n\n•\tI might not be able to make the food taste good\n•\tMy vegan food will not appeal to the food lovers \n•\tMeat eaters will not come to my business and my venture will fail\n•\tI am too old to experiment with this new venture\n\nNow while all these may be valid concerns, you cannot however, allow these to be your limiting beliefs. It is true that meat lovers can take time or have difficulty adjusting to an all plant-based diet. However, th Unlock a blueprint to creating and having your ideal business and ideal life by scheduling your free consultation with me today! Want more proven business success tips and resources? | 5 Ways to Increase Your Business Efficiency with Time Blocks | 20 Oct 2022 | 00:10:54
[[:encoded, "As a business owner, the only real challenge you have is time. Time is a factor that stands against you due to its limited availability. There are only twenty-four hours in a day (8 to 10 hours for sleep, transportation, eating, and other chores to do). Due to this limited time, learning to manage your time effectively is the best way to reach your goals.\n\nTime has a powerful impact on your overall results. At the end of every day, it is important to take stock of what you were able to achieve. Also, pay attention to how you split your time during the day.\n\nAs a business owner, many activities impact the way you manage your time. There are prospects to contact and follow-up with, the financials to pay attention to, existing clients to service, and inventories to monitor. In addition, there are also other important aspects of your business such as bills to be paid, staff to manage, and all kinds of decisions to be made. In short, there aren’t enough waking hours to deal with all there is to be done.\n\nThis is why effective time management is a vital skill for all business professionals and seasoned entrepreneurs. \n\nHow can you manage your time effectively?\n\nEffective time management is where time blocks come to the rescue.\n\nThe challenge you, as an entrepreneur, face is your inability to streamline your focus into a few tasks without getting distracted by other tasks to be completed.\n\nLack of focus becomes a problem because when you split your attention into all the tasks you have to complete. You won’t be able to complete any of them while doing this. As a business owner, new tasks can spring up daily, and you’ll need excellent time management skills to carry out your business.\n\nTime blocks serve as a way to carefully break your day into very specific blocks of time. Activities are scheduled for certain hours (blocks) of the day.\n\nWhen managing your time, you can streamline your focus into a few tasks that should be completed daily.\n\nTime blocks help you keep your focus on a particular task at a particular time, and for a period of time. By doing this, you can avoid procrastination and complete each task more quickly. You can also make important decisions and become up to 80% more productive.\n\nFive ways to improve your time management using time blocks\n\nThere is a shift in work ethics requirements from how much work is done to what results are produced at the end of each day.
