Kleber Battaglia 白师傅 is a Wing Chun master, teacher and a regular writer for the international martial arts magazine "Wing Chun Illustrated".  He is one of the main historical researchers on the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu.  For years, Kleber was a full-time student of his master Wan Kam Leung who trained with and shared the same Wing Chun teacher as Bruce Lee.  Having started practicing martial arts at 9 years old and having trained with most of the more knowledgeable Wing Chun masters still alive, Kleber has accumulated a lifetime of martial arts training.  He has dedicated his life to Wing Chun and improving the way we live, think and our ability to defend ourselves.  He currently runs his Wing Chun academy in Shanghai, Practical Wing Chun.

Fei Yanqiu 费艳秋 is a globe-trotting cinematographer based in Shanghai, China.  She first learnt cinema by running around the rainforests of South-East Asia with a 16mm camera.  She was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Milan International Film Festival (The Lobster Kid) and Golden Eagle Awards (Yamome, Japan).  Her work has screened and won awards at Oscar-qualifying festivals including a Mention Spéciale du Jury at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (Disco Obu, India), a Reel Golden Award at LA Asian Pacific Film Festival (The Lobster Kid, Taiwan), Durban international film festival (Back to Hometown, China), and various other projects.  Yanqiu holds a MFA in Film from New York University.  She’s also a proud alumna of the Asian Film Academy and Golden Horse Film Academy, where she was mentored by Hou Hsiao-Hsien.  She hopes to continue to explore the extraordinary stories of ordinary people through the magic of cinema.

Michael J. Jordan is an American international journalist, Global Communication Strategist and a Visiting Professor of International Journalism, who's taught and lectured at many of China's finest universities.  As a Foreign Correspondent, he has reported from 30 countries over 25 years in regions such as Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Southern Africa.  Most recently, he has worked in Beijing as a News Editor, Scriptwriter and Foreign-Media Analyst at the China Global Television Network, for the nightly opinion show "The Point with Liu Xin".  Before moving to China, he was the lone western correspondent living in the African kingdom of Lesotho where he covered the 2014 coup attempt and months of turmoil that followed.  In Africa, his advocacy and trainings for major organizations spanned HIV orphans, medical male-circumcision, maternal-child health and gender-based violence.  In China, his communication has also included environmental protection, worker's rights and food waste.

He has taught English literature in Cambridge, Singapore, London, and Dubai.  In 2006 and 2008 he was a Royal Literary Fellow at Warwick University.  He has organized several arts and literary festivals and has published several works both fiction and non-fiction. King Kwesi is a vlogger, street interviewer and English teacher from Ghana, living in China.  His YouTube Channel documents his experiences as an African interacting in Chinese society.  Today we talk about his background from Ghana, growing up in a polygamous family, and his experience living in China as an African.  We talk about why he started the YouTube channel, his perspective on China’s development and how he feels about certain comments and attacks he gets for his videos. We discuss Africa and China’s presence in Africa as we hear his thoughts on benefits, exploitation, colonialization and debt. We talk about the perception of Africa and China in Western media and films. We talk about cultural unity and diversity and his experiences with racism, prejudice and how we measure our own quality of life. We also talk about why he chooses to remain in China, whats difficult about it, and why he hopes his channel can foster more understanding.

Cymri Chang is a commercial producer in Shanghai.  We get into subjects like society, culture, politics, government and language just to name a few.
