One house. Two dads. Four kids. Zero chill.
Set in 1991 Austin, Thank Goodness It’s Family is a 90s-style sitcom podcast about the Harper-Campbells: a blended family juggling life, school, and work with a dash of family chaos. Pete and Randy Harper-Campbell are a married couple raising four wildly different kids while running one of America’s top ad agencies.
From school dances to haunted radio shows, this family faces it all with sarcasm, heart, and a whole lot of eye rolls. Created by Ric de Barros, it shares a universe with the award-winning sci-fi podcast, Lucidus Somnia, but swaps time travel for family mayhem. The sound design recreates the tone and vibe of classic sitcoms from the '80s and '90s. It’s like flipping on your favorite TGIF and Must See TV sitcoms all over again!
