A foreign owned website that provides information on selling sex in Phuket and Pattaya has had its website closed down by the Thai authorities. The website, which was registered to a company in the United Kingdom, was shut down after complaints were made to the authorities.
This is a significant victory for the Thai government, which has been fighting to crackdown on the sale of sex since the election of the military junta in 2014.
