This spring I put together a small group tour to #Portugal and the #DouroValley - We began our journey in one of my favorite European cities, #Lisbon and made our way north to #Porto. I partnered again with Riviera River Cruises. This time on the River Boat, Riviera River Cruises, The Douro Splendour as this itinerary really fit a slower more intentional experience.

IRELAND! 🇮🇪 Most Americans would like to visit at least once in their lives, right? This spring my #small #group #Irish #Adventure #Tour brought us from the busy streets of Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher to Northern Ireland.

Join me today in an in-depth interview with historical docent Lynn Weaver of Ivy Green. The cotton plantation that was once home to Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan. Lynn and I talk about Helen's early life, struggles and overcoming so many challenges with courage and fortitude.

As she walks us through the almost completely intact birthplace and home of the Keller's you can visualize early turn of the century living in north Alabama. We chat about Anne Sullivan the "Miracle Worker" teacher who changed Helen's life, her own physical challenges and the friendship and support throughout their lives.

Each year the Helen Keller Birthplace and Museum host a month-long FREE play of the Miracle Worker.

Janie shares her passion for creating different wines that are great to use in cooking, Jahn shares the health benefits of the muscadine and much more.

Coming up is their annual Valentines Day EVENT and they also offer wine-making classes! Maybe you have a wedding or celebration coming up, with the setting at the base of the hills and a beautiful lake (beaver made) in the backdrop it is a perfect setting for making memories.

I'm finally back after two months of group tours and travel planning busy, busy, busy season, I'm back in the production room putting things together. Although I have lots to produce I couldn't wait to share our recent Danube River Cruise Fun with our small group tours this past April. OMG! It was hysterical, a little damp, and loads of fun, fun, fun!

We partnered with ®Riviera River Cruises for another River Cruise group tour, this time along the DANUBE. The ancient waterway that once was busy with Roman Empire traffic, today is dotted with riverboats, ferries, and cargo ships. It is also lined with vineyards, medieval towns, still intact and historical architecture that astounds.
