In this episode, we review what was a dramatic week of Supercoach for the boys. Not only did one host score 2350, but one forgot to make a key trade. It was a week for celebration and commiseration. The boys look into the last week of byes and analyse what our finished teams will look like. Do you pay up for Gawn? Should we ditch Whitfield? Is there a pod that nobody is thinking about?

Just when we don't need them, it seems as though Rookies are coming from everywhere. The boys talk McCarthy, Martin, Johnson, Butler, Madden, Rowston and many others that have surfaced in recent weeks as we plan our final moves before the long run to the finish line. Which premiums can we not live without? Where do we take a haircut on quality? Does Streety  believe in his Bye special? All this and more is answered in a jam packed edition of the pod!

This week the boys think there are two very obvious trade ins, but the question is, what do we do with our third trade? Zak Butters feels like the no brainer of the year, and Zak Johnson looked fantastic for the Bombers, but after that is it, Mckercher? Docherty? Sinclair? NWM? Wait for Mills? Wait for Houston? Players like Smith, Bont, Greene, Berry, Mcauliffe, Gray, Merrett, Dawson, Serong and many others are part of the discssion as moving season gets going!

It certainly shapes as a week where they will be prime targets for everyone, with a certain Mr Daicos on the agenda for those that missed out last week. For many, this is our favourite part of the year. Our first cash cows have started to max out and we can start exploring upgrade options. The boys talk about getting into that upgrade cadence and who we should be focusing on. Is Nick Daicos the absolute no brainer? Should we be looking at Petracca now he is a forward? This week, we say goodbye (for now) to the bye rounds. And it is time for us to get 22 players back on the park. There was a big bounce back from some of our favourites JHF and Sheezel. Whilst our defensive rookies have really lifted in the past few weeks, none more so than Riley Bice. Do we have any rookie options this week? Should we be looking at an upgrade cadence already? This has been a strange season thus far, underperforming premiums, lots of value rookies and mid pricers, and this week, we stumbled upon even more of them. This could be the most important week of the season. It's time for us to make our correctional trades. Last week it was POD's, this week it's the popular players that you definitely have in your team. Which players should we be betting against, and which players should we not even consider taking out of our team. Streety and Oz go to war over what is no doubt their biggest strategic disagreement this preseason. Why won't Oz start Bont? Why does Streety still have Butters? The most cookie cutter line in SuperCoach history is here! Or is it? Withe Phillipou being out for an extended time it has thrown a number of possibilities open for coaches. We assume everyone has Macrae, Smith and Daniel. But what do we do about Rankine? Is Horne-Francis a sure thing to be the F1? It's time for football's real night of night's. When the boys look back on the year that was, reviewing the votes given out for the Jack Steele and Stephen Coniglio medals.

And for the worst on, there are number of players that will come as no surprise to regular listeners of the show at the pointy end of the leaderboard.

After a chaotic weekend of supercoach, where injuries, suspensions and donuts were flying around everywhere, most coaches are hanging on for deal life. Streety had a rollercoaster weekend, but remain in 72nd, with Oz flying up to 298th overall. Not a bad effort for the hosts on the season.

With it being Grand Final week, the boys explore English, Curnow, Sheezel, Whitfield, Marshall, Xerri, Moore, Butters, Cameron and many other players that might do just enough to get you over the line.
