Can hunters really make a difference with Jared Frasier

jeudi 29 août 2024Duration 01:20:53

We welcome Jared Frasier, Executive Director for 2% for Conservation to the podcast to talk about Jared's fall hunt plans, the latest on the 2% for Conservation movement, hunters at the ballot box and more.

During our visit we start diving into orange washing, ballot box initiatives, if hunters really do make a difference in the political arena and more. As a registered not for profit we are not advocating for any specific candidate or party, however it is incumbent upon us to do our due diligence during the elections and more importantly to speak up where our voice needs to be heard.

We talk about how our forefathers were revolutionary in policy making such as Roosevelt, Muir, Pittman, Robertson and more. Can we really affect change in a modern era? Jared and Kyle talk about this issue and why it is more critical then ever before to advocate for wildlife.

Jared discusses his fall plans which involves a guided elk hunt in September. We also visit about 2% for Conservation certification and how it benefits hunters to support the brands that are certified as such.
