Hey team, it's been so long but I am still going. Maybe this year wasn't the best year to start a podcast when it's not the easiest to feel motivated! But I'm feeling determined and I loved talking to Ben Clare (Head of Marketing at the Orange Tree) about the non Paris or Saigon based musicals of Mr Producer's career. Come and listen to us laugh and discuss Moby Dick, the Musical! Martin Guerre and The Witches of Eastwick. Thanks for your patience.
| The Hit Makers: Stephen Sondheim | 08 Sep 2020 | 01:12:13 | |
This episode is a real roller coaster, a show that's a bit weird, a show we adore and a show that we loathe. It's all here. Join me and my guest, Elly Meacham as we discuss some of the less successful Stephen Sondheim shows. As usual sorry for the huge gap between episodes. | |||
| The Hit Makers: Michael Bennett | 02 Aug 2020 | 01:16:15 | |
This episode we discuss the less known works of American director/choreographer Michael Bennett. We also discuss the awful word kooky and have strong opinions about country musicals. It's a long episode to make up for the massive gap between Episode 2 and 3.
| The Hit Makers: Trevor Nunn | 02 Jun 2020 | 00:57:35 | |
In this episode I'm joined by Fran Rafferty and we talk about Trevor Nunn and some of his less successful shows. We laugh, we disagree join us and see what you think.
| The Hit Makers: Andrew Lloyd Webber | 15 May 2020 | 00:55:42 | |
Welcome to our first episode! Come on a musical journey and explore the less successful shows of one of the world's most famous composers, Andrew Lloyd Webber. We have (technical) bumps, laughs and songs along the road. Let us know what you think and I promise I'll have ironed out all the problems by episode 2. www.takemeorleaveme.co.uk
