Growing up in a household that was practically a zoo, my brother John and I have enough pet stories to fill an entire library. From the chaotic days of incubating duck eggs after a hurricane to the infamous incident of a duckling nearly meeting its end in our kitchen sink, our childhood was a blend of humor and heartbreak. These experiences shaped  our family dynamics and also inspired my journey into veterinary medicine.
