Humans have for all ages felt a longing for a spiritual home, like something is missing in our hearts. And in all tribes of the world, you see humanity trying to seek back, in different expressions, to what was once lost in the sacred garden of Eden.

For the Mijikenda people, there are nine main tribes, nine kayas, one Kaya for each tribe, which serve as places of spiritual homes, enlightenment, blessing, protection, leadership, wisdom and power.

Kaya is like a shadow of Eden, an expression of longing for what was once lost ages ago; Eden.. Just like Eden, Kaya is a guarded, elevated, outdoor place, spiritual hotspot, with sacred ground and sacred trees. Kaya remembers that life, blessing and divine presence were once connected to sacred trees.

The message of the gospel is this, Eden is the original Kaya, Jesus is the tree of life, and Jesus has fulfilled the role of a middle man and sacrifice, now God invites you to come back to the one true Eden and the true God.

In this teaching we look more into this, the gospel message in light of Mijikendas culture, challenges, Kaya mindset, Eden mindset, etc.

For our first Sunday service in 2026, we start unpacking what we believe God is speaking to us about this year. And the text we belive God is highlighting for us is found in 2 Chronicles 15. In this service we start looking closer at this text, beginning with prophet Azariah’s message to the tribe of Judah, witch is found in the seven first verses of this chapter, then we will continue going through the chapter bit by bit in the coming services.

What was meant to be the best day of Jephthah’s life became the worst (Judges 11). What happened is sad beyond what I can imagine. It was supposed to be a day of historic celebration, wealth, promotion, praise, good food, joy unspeakable. But it became the darkest day of his life, and worse, a day so dark that joy and peace will likely never find him again, no matter the wealth that comes. And he brought this tragedy 100% on himself.

We continue teaching on the gifts, focusing on seeing in the Spirit, and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the final session were we also pray for impartation of the Gifts of the spirit.

In this second session, we look closer at the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially the word of knowledge and the revelatory gifts.

First session, I try to focus on teaching some basic knowledge about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the giver of the gifts, who obviously is the Holy Spirit. My goal in this first session is to help people to receive the giver of gifts, the Holy Spirit.

This last Sunday service Pastor Stig teached thoroughly on the topic of being born again. This is a great teaching that helps people understand the gospel message about the spiritual birth, and why it so so important that you must be born again today! This message also includes parts of the ministry time where we lead in the sinners prayer so that the listeners can join and also step into this wonderful born again experience and receive the gift of eternal life. In this Sunday service i am teaching about very sensitive topics like; rape/sexual assault, evil, healing, and how to move forward. During this teaching i used a whiteboard to help me illustrate, draw and explain, obviously this whiteboard is not here for the podcast listeners, but the word is still very understandable and powerful. From our Sunday service, Pastor Stig preached a powerful faith message and ministered healing by faith. There was so many people waving, indicating immediate healing miracles, then also testifying about their healing that happened right in their seats. The message was from the passage when Paul and Silas were imprisoned after casting out a spirit of divination from a girl, we follow the story all the way to their miraculous freedom and how their faith worked.

This is session 3 of mye series on this topic of repentance. Here we are looking into common areas where many people need to bring repentance, but many times dont see it. This teaching is a great word to help people into soul searching and discover toxic places in their hearts that they might have overlooked. To have areas in our lives that has not turned to Jesus can many times be root causes to lack of breakthrough, spiritual progress and all kinds of problems. Make sure to take this word of repentance close to your heart and work it out prayerfully and carefully in prayer, God bless you.

From our Sunday afternoon bible teaching class. Continuing from our Sunday service titled “repentance”, this teaching takes a closer look at how to practical achieve biblical repentance in your life. We go through 7 principals of repentance and finish with some Q & A.

The topic of repentance has always been a vital topic for the preaching of the gospel. Because I see so many preachers substitute this topic for things like blessed water, oil or handkerchiefs, I have been more and more compelled to emphasise this message of repentance. People are told “buy this oil, believe and you will be blessed”, and in so doing, they empty the gospel of it’s power, but the actual message is; repent, believe and then you will be blessed. Repentance is a requirement that comes before salvation, healing, faith, deliverance, mercy, prosperity and all other forms of blessings from God.

The Church has a big job to do in tidying up all the sillynes and the false voices who in the name of God takes advantage of the less knowledgable. There are false Spirits and leaders in leadership positions in many Churches. Here is a good teaching from Pastor Stig on what you must first do to avoid deception and being able to discern what is God, what is good and blessed. And remember, don’t go to the Church that is closest to you, but go to the Church that is closest to the New Testament bible.
