  • The reason why we eat meat is because we evolved with a taste for high density food. From most of our evolutionary history, we had a struggle to get enough food to be healthy, to thrive, to be active and to reproduce and bring up our children. So we developed a taste for meat in particular because it is a high density food and if you could catch and kill a large animal and eat it, then you were meeting your nutritional needs for some time. We still have this taste for meat because evolution works slowly and it doesn't take account of the fact that now we can walk into a supermarket and choose for a wide variety of foods, including nourishing ourselves very well by plant based foods.
 
  • We are price conscious, hence why factory farming is a real thing. Factory farming is the combination of the idea that we want animal products, that we'd like to eat them and we want them as cheaply as possible. And factory farming has developed over roughly the past century to produce these foods more cheaply, to apply technology to them, to apply basically industrial production processes to them, standardizing things, getting cheap labor. This has created a disaster of  a situation for the animals, for the climate, and for our own health.
 
  • Factory farming causes harm to local people too. Anybody who lives near a factory farm knows that they're terrible neighbors. For one thing, when the wind blows to you from them, the manure smell is awful. They also attract millions of flies which are around your place and of course they also pollute the water around. It also runs when there's unusual rainfall. It runs into the rivers, kills thousands of fish, makes the rivers unswimable.

  • While many of us tend to prefer interacting online with others, we fail to realize how many cues and messages we lose out on. See, about 95% of the communication we receive from someone is through their non-verbal cues. When chatting with someone online, these are cues you can’t get. Thus, this creates an opportunity for both parties to fall into traps they otherwise may not if they were to interact with these people in person. 
 
  • If you can’t detach yourself from your emotions, then you’re most likely an easy target for people who are masters at deceiving others and have their own agenda. That being said, it’s important to develop a sense of detachment from your emotions and being able to observe people objectively. This is because people tell on themselves all the time - but you need to be receptive to the cues.  When you take your emotions out of the equation, you can objectively analyze people who may be on a mission to extract something out of you.  Remember, people always tell on themselves - you just need to actually listen without letting your emotions get in the way to try and rationalize truths. 
 
  • It’s human nature to point our finger at others and blame them for deceiving us, hurting us, or manipulating us. This is because it’s the easy way out. When you point the finger at someone, then you immediately relieve yourself of all responsibility to make sure it doesn’t happen to you again… until it does. See, deception starts with you - YOU allowed yourself to be deceived. That’s why it’s important to be self-aware and look inwards. There may be some weaknesses or blind-spots you don’t realize you have that make you an easy prey.

  • Due to the over-usage of electronics that emit EMFs in our day-to-day, our bodies’ energetic charge is unbalanced. We have too many positive charges and not enough negative charges. Visible light is the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to the human eye.  It’s important to expose yourself to it as it helps regulate the body's circadian rhythm and has a positive impact on mood and overall well-being. The vegan food label has become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. It allows individuals who choose to adopt a vegan lifestyle to easily identify products that align with their dietary choices and values.    However, the vegan label can also be dangerous, as many people mistakenly believe that just because a food item is vegan, it must be healthy. This makes it confusing for a significant part of the  public to make right decisions about their food intakes.   It’s time for us to start taking a second look at the vegan food labels to see the nasty ingredients hiding within that can be just as detrimental to our health as animal foods. If we want to use plant-based diets for the good of our health and the planet, we need to become educated beyond the labels we see on the front of food packages.
