Last year, we chatted with Hernan Cattaneo about his past and the history of progressive house. This year on the Set Underground boat, we chat about the present. 

In this interview, Hernan and William discuss how Argentina have become the global leaders of the progressive sound, established talents like Martin Garcia, and the up-and-coming talent coming out of Argentina today.

This was a special interview for many reasons. I feel like we’ve finally reached the point where these interviews are more like friends catching up, and a lot of that has to do with how good of a dude Chris is and how open he was with us about his career, and another HUGE addition to this episode is the global perspective Ruben brings as the new cohost.

Over this 1hr+ conversation, we chat about the different influences behind Lexicon Avenue and Echomen, being the most featured artist in Global Underground history (still need to fact check 🤣), how Forensic Records came to be, and how he stays inspired to keep pushing his sound forward today.
