On Totemo's Street Art Collector this week, Steph sits down with Swedish-born, Toyko-based artist and teacher Kristoffer "Krs" Kullengren, who began his painting path in the digital realm before spreading his colourful, playful style into the physical world as well. 

Since 2008, Kris has built up a massive career. He has had more than 20 solo exhibitions in the last 5 years and sold more than 5000 digital artworks on the blockchain. He was the first artist to exhibit NFTs in Tokyo, the first foreign artist to work with the Chinese government's blockchain "Conflux", and he conceived and executed the first NFT project in El Salvador to use NFTs to create coffee futures, supporting the crypto-run country to circumvent the banking system to sell future coffee supplies.

In this episode, we sit down with Brooklyn-based street artist and designer, K-NOR, who's been at it for more than 15 years, exploring the darker side of human nature with vivid creepy creations that grace walls, canvases and merch, as well as the blockchain. 

Although he's excited by the space, working full time, painting the streets and pumping out an eclectic mix of creative projects left him with very little time. This is a great chat about the exploration of NFTs, the exciting avenues they can take and the burnout that turns many off it.

In this episode, we sit down with LA graffiti and studio artists SEK and Rerun, as well as Totemo co-founder Marty Roberts to discuss their adventures in Tokyo for Totemo's Harajuku Wall Gallery project.

Both hailing from LA, SEK is known for his lyrical/text-heavy, abstract, cubist style, while Rerun balances vandalism and fine art, following his compulsion to paint on the streets. 

Marty is then the co-founder of Totemo, the first street art NFT marketplace, which seems to just be a front for him to hang out with killer artists, create fun projects and live out his youthful fantasies while calling it work :)
