SSP148: The Prayer of Invocation28 Nov 202400:16:47

Last night, I experienced a profound mystical encounter—one I couldn't keep to myself. In this episode, I touch on the idea that certain moments, especially just before sleep, allow us to connect with other dimensions.

When we create rituals around sleep, we open doorways for spirits to communicate through us, these divine encounters provide seeds from inspiration along the path. They're reminders to me that spirits is always communicating with us. Certain souls will communicate through you depending the spiritual family youre connected to. The message they will often resemble and archetypal energy is invoked within.

I invite you to play with the energy of the mystical. See if you can decode the message that comes through.

SSP138: How to go to the next level10 Feb 202400:23:09

Todays dialogue / stream of consciousness is all about accessing the next level of growth whatever that looks like for you.

The next level will always require some kind of stretch, and expansion within your body / nervous system.

When you know it's time for the next level often you'll need to do one of two things:

1. Do the opposite of what you're currently doing

2. Double down on what you're currently doing

SSP 019: Steve Clemens – Finding Connection Through Disconnection, Life Lessons Learnt Through Self-Sustained Living12 Oct 201801:38:42

“When you stop existing, and you start truly living, each moment of the day comes alive with wonder and synchronicity.” - Steve Maraboli

I have to say, the quote above resonates with me and exemplifies the coincidence that resulted in the guest that I welcome to session 19 of the State Shifters Podcast.

A couple of long stories short, my girlfriend Amanda books a weekend away 4 hours north of Toronto in a town called Nippising. The night before our departure we booked one the last accommodations left on Airbnb for the weekend, the title was, “OFF-GRID, TINY HOUSE, BY WATERFALL” below are some images of the cabin we stayed in.

Since I left my corporate job and started living a life true to my heart and saying yes to the things that felt good I’m amazed at the people that have appeared in my life. Called them coincidence, synchronicity, or chance encounters but there was no denying the beauty of this one.

Steve inspired me through his ability to take purposeful action in the direction his heart wanted him to go. He has successfully made the transition from dependent city living to self-contained “off grid” living, and self-sufficiency. Steve lives in a cabin he built himself and sustains his livelihood with a minimum carbon footprint. I was amazed at how well thought out his style of living was, which made me think about how dependent on technology I was for my survival.

Insert from “the Good Life” by Helen and Scott Nearing’s, a book that Steve gifted me and one that helped Steve take his “leap of faith”: “ideas of “making money” or “getting rich” have given people prevented view of economic principles. The object of economic effort is not money, but livelihood. Money cannot feed, clothe, or shelter. Money is a medium of exchange, - a means of securing the items that makeup livelihood.”

After meeting Steve I now genuinely realize we all need a lot less than we think to secure the items that make up our livelihood.

This podcast is an insight into a man, who is living by Mahatma Gandhi's famous quote “be the change he wants to see in the world.”

I hope Steve’s story inspires you as much as it did me.

SSP 016: Yasmin Eve – Re-write The Stories That Hold You Back16 Aug 201801:17:21

"Life isn't so much about finding yourself but rather,
unbecoming all parts that weren't really "you"
to begin with."

Welcome to the 16th instalment of the State Shifters podcast.

In this episode, I had the great pleasure of interviewing the lovely Yasmin Eve.

Yasmin is born and raised in my hometown, Perth Western Australia, and has dedicated her life to helping others become the best version of themselves.

Yasmin and I connected online a couple of years ago, and although we never got to meet in person, we have shared a similar journey.

That’s one of my favourite things about opening up and sharing our journey online, we attract people who are vibing at the same level of energy.

Yasmin first started in the Health and Fitness world, helping people create the body of their dreams, and while this job was rewarding, she came to realise there was a WHOLE lot more going on under the surface when it came to results in the gym. This led her toward an incredible journey learning about mind mechanics, beliefs, behaviours and the difference between people who are genuinely fulfilled and content in life, to those that aren't.

Her calling has led her to create Holistic Hub which is devoted to helping people let go of old stories through creating new stories, to peoples self-belief, to get them feeling clear, and moving forward towards a bright and empowered future.
