We thought we’d drop in your podcast feeds to check in, check everything is working alright and have a bit of a catch up. Musa and Ryan are joined by Flo Lloyd-Hughes, making her Stadio debut to chat about PSG’s 3-1 aggregate win over Arsenal to go through to the Champions League final (01:30). They also discuss Inter’s win over Barcelona (22:40), look ahead to the final, and talk about Trent Alexander-Arnold, who confirmed that he’ll be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season (29:06). Finally, they revisit Arsenal, as Musa and Flo ask Ryan for his final thoughts on them now that the season is done, bar playing for a second-place finish (40:24).

Real Madrid beat Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley to win their 15th Champions League/European Cup, so that’s where the focus is for today. Musa and Ryan begin with a quick shout to Olympiacos, who became the first Greek club side to win a European trophy after their 1-0 extra-time win against Fiorentina in Athens (03:00). They then discuss some huge managerial news this week, including Vincent Kompany's unveiling as Bayern's coach (08:09), Hansi Flick's arrival at Barcelona (19:59) and a little bit on Enzo Maresca's confirmation at Chelsea and José Mourinho's appointment at Fenerbahce, before they take a quick look ahead to the Champions League final (31:09).

It was a weekend of many finals! Musa and Ryan begin with some shout-outs for some others from the weekend (01:00) before turning their attention to the men’s FA Cup final (05:17), where Erik ten Hag and Manchester United ended a difficult season with silverware after a victory against Manchester City. Then, it’s all about Leverkusen, which completed an unbeaten domestic double (29:14) as they saw off Kaiserslautern to secure their first DFB-Pokal in 31 years. Musa was there to see it in person!

Atalanta won their first trophy in 61 years, with a 3-0 win in Dublin that ended Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run. Musa and Ryan discuss the game (02:39), Atalanta’s brilliant tactical performance, and Ademola Lookman’s incredible hat trick. They then chat about Toni Kroos announcing his retirement (31:58), then briefly on Mauricio Pochettino departing Chelsea (40:46), and Vincent Kompany reportedly joining Bayern. The news of Thiago Motta’s departure from Bologna broke after recording, but the boys will talk about that—as well as many other potential managerial changes—on one of next week’s shows.

Via a couple of other shoutouts in Europe, they turn their attention to the Premier League, where Manchester City became the first side to win four men’s top-flight titles in a row in England (26:30). They chat about the brilliance of City’s football and Pep Guardiola’s management, as well as where Arsenal fell short, all taking place with the backdrop of a season that has featured charges, points deductions, and investigations relating to the Premier League’s PSR rules. They also shout out Jürgen Klopp on his Liverpool departure, Roberto de Zerbi leaving Brighton, and much more.

Musa and Ryan run through the Premier League midweek games (Aston Villa’s Champions League qualification will be saved for tomorrow’s 'Wrighty’s House'!). They begin with Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Newcastle United at Old Trafford (02:25), Chelsea's victory over Brighton to climb into sixth (11:32) and Manchester City’s win at Spurs, which resulted in an existential Ange (16:25). They then move on to Juventus’s Coppa Italia win (36:37), before wrapping up on a bit of chat about how FIFA is open to overseas domestic matches and the vote put forward by Wolves to scrap VAR in the Premier League.
