In 1941, we meet the eminent medium Felicity Fermington immersing herself in the war effort.  Roof top evacuations and ARP appearances demonstrate her commitment to keeping the home fires burning brightly in Kent.  However, a dark deed disturbs her beloved village and her visionary vocation is needed to point out the perpetrator.

Even a year after her sister was murdered, Carly is still desperate to find something onto which she can focus her grief and unimaginable sense of loss.  One day she decides to enter the sealed shrine that her parents have turned her sister's bedroom into as her one last hope for salvation.
