| #97 Boost your LinkedIn visibility: Writing posts that resonate and engage | 31 May 2025 | 00:37:39 | |
“Your network is your net-worth!” – So, who do you make the most out of your LinkedIn network, and especially grow your networking contacts by creating well-visible content? However, I know that many people either don’t like writing, don’t know what to write or don’t know how to translate their expertise into a text that resonates with anyone. So they end up with posting without plan – and get frustrated because they don’t get any views or reactions. During the last 12 months I have managed to create multiple LinkedIn posts with multiple thousands or 10’000s views. And when I published that I will be fired, the post went viral and has reached 180’000 views until today. And this is what I want for anyone else as well to reach something like this! Because based on this viral post I was flooded with supporting comments, contact requests, messages from people suggesting me to have a meeting, share my CV with them or that they can connect me to their own employers. I have myself been to paid courses about copy-writing and content creation run by some of the best business coaches and copy-writers from the German speaking market. This knowledge I apply myself – and touch in this episode:
However, this topic is too complex to fully teach it in one podcast episode. Therefore, you are welcome to join my masterclass “How to write and create highly-visible LinkedIn posts” on 17th and 19th June. This masterclass includes two ~2 hour sessions on the evening of 17th and 19th June, in which I will share with you all my knowledge about copy-writing in an interactive way. You can register here: Keywords: Skilful self-presentation, successful career, fulfilling career, important for career, successful in my job, self-confidence, authenticity, be yourself, social media, LinkedIn, copy-writing, content creation, grow my network, getting more followers, go viral, resonance
| #96 How to show up as your true authentic self | 17 May 2025 | 00:22:53 | |
... and what coconuts and peaches have to do with that. Whenever the spotlight is on us – whether you are speaking on a stage, holding a presentation, pitching your business ideas or in a job interview – it can be challenging to authentic and to fully be ourselves. We think we should “sound professional”, should not exclude or hurt anyone, should not be too emotional, and as a result we generalize formulations, sugar-coat problems and hold ourselves back to say what we really think. In this episode I will share with you funny analogy – yes, with fruits ;) – so that you can understand
If you would like to know more about NLP and how to set a body-anchor (a powerful tool from Neuro-Linguistic Programming) for your inner stability, please contact me! | #87 It can cost you your career to not have THIS skill | 11 Jan 2025 | 00:23:14
It doesn’t matter what you know. It doesn’t matter what you say or do. It only matters how you make other people feel. And having the ability to imagine what other people think or feel (to make them feel good) is called: Empathy. Empathetic people have a “service-mindset” towards their co-workers. They think about others. They share information. They communicate pro-actively. This will lead to things getting done. This will lead to efficient processes and better results. This will lead to a good atmosphere and team spirit. Because of this, empathetic people are very often the most liked co-workers. They are appreciated, recognized, rewarded and are very often the ones offered a promotion. In this episode you will learn:

Networking is not to get 100 business cards on an event. Networking is not to connect with people randomly on LinkedIn. Networking also does not mean to pitch something to potential clients. | #77 The easiest method to let something go | 07 Sep 2024 | 00:21:49
It is important to recognize the point in time when you have to let something go. That can be a job position that you were hoping to get but you were rejected last minute, or you were dating someone which did not work out in the end. In both situations, you have invested a lot of time and energy – and now your mind stays busy with thinking about what went wrong or what you could have done better? The problem is: As long as your mind is busy with this old stuff, you don’t have space in your life to attract something even better! Therefore: It is important to make a clear cut and decide to let the old stuff go. And now many people say: You have to write down all your thoughts about this on a sheet of paper – and then make a fire and burn it! I always wondered: Isn’t there a safer method to let something go then making a fire in my flat??? Yes, there is! In this episode I introduce you a super simple, but equally efficient practical method to let your thoughts go. This is something that you can apply immediately, no matter if you are at home or in a hotel. All you need is a pen and a role of toilet paper. Do you guess already what I mean?!? 😊 I would be happy to support you in your skilful self-presentation and showing your true, authentic self to a company! | #73 How to deal with disappointments | 22 Jun 2024 | 00:27:26
Have you had high expectations after a job interview – but then were not chosen? Were you sure, you will get the promotion at work – but that went to another colleague? Have you had high expectations when participating in a competition – but it didn’t go as planned? Experiencing these disappointments don’t feel great. But they are part of life and the goal is not to avoid them – but to manage them! First, it is important to understand that being disappointed always means that expectations have not been fulfilled. So, how to deal with that emotion once ‘sh*t hits the fan’? In this episode you will learn:
I am explaining this process based on my own experience of a disappointment on a public speaking contest, that had happened to me end of May. Here you can find the ‘scale of emotions’ by Abraham-Hicks that I am referring to: https://toc-now.com/2015/10/12/abraham-hicks-emotional-guidance-scale/ Whether you are currently looking for a new job or want to excel at your workplace, I would be happy to support you in your skillful self-presentation, so that you can have a successful and fulfilling career by being able to show your true, authentic self! | #72 Program your mind towards success | 08 Jun 2024 | 00:23:01
Are you stuck in a phase of feeling unsuccessful? Everything you are trying is not going to work? You are failing all the time?
The problem is, “energy flows where attention goes” (Tony Robbins). That means: the more you are focussing on you being unsuccessful, the more unsuccessful moments it will create.
To shift that: Regularly create little moments of success in your life. If this is not possible in your job at the moment, search for other possibilities, for example in your free-time related to a hobby you have.
How to do that? Listen to two personal examples that I am sharing in this episodes that made me understanding how you can program your own mind to ‘success’.
In a nutshell:
Search for little challenges, something that makes you feel a little nervous
Go out of your comfort zone: Accept this challenge! Do it!
Consciously observe how successful you feel after mastering this challenge
Store that feeling in your mind, shift your focus on “Yes, more of that!”

| #71 Don’t ask for reference if … | 25 May 2024 | 00:20:19 | |
… the person you are approaching has never worked with you and has nothing to refer to! I have experienced myself, that people reach out on LinkedIn asking me for reference for jobs, although I have never met them before. Even if the job market is tough, it is not a good practice to search for and rely on references from other people, while neglecting putting effort on your own job applications. Basically, a good reference from someone (if that person knows you and has worked with you) is “the cherry on the cake” – but guess, who is the “cake”?! It’s you! You first need to take the responsibility yourself for presenting yourself in a great way! | #58 Lose your fear to speak in public with three simple tips | 16 Dec 2023 | 00:25:50
… that you can directly apply in your everyday life!
What makes us so afraid to speak in front of others? Studies even have shown that more people are afraid of public speaking than are afraid of dying!
For many years, I was very shy and always super nervous when I had to speak in front of others. Both my body and my voice were shivering, I was sweating like hell and was just worried that anyone can think badly about what I am saying or how I look like. It was a fear of being rejected.
Nowadays I enjoy doing public speaking as a hobby, I am a member of the Toastmasters organization and just recently have won an international contest in improvised speaking.
Here are three tips to overcome your fear to speak in front of other people:
1) Record voice messages and videos
2) Visualize that you are speaking in front of others
3) Use small occasion to practice

| #92 Do I need to spend money to have a successful career? | 22 Mar 2025 | 00:31:26 | |
We have all knowledge available for free nowadays. You just need to pull your smartphone out of the pocket and use Google or ChatGPT to find information. And in plus of that we have access to free education from schools and universities. So why should you pay a coach? What additional knowledge should a coach provide you that you don’t have available already and why should you spend money on this? This might shock you now, but until during the last 5 years I have spend over 20’000 EUR for coaching services and private educations, like seminars, online academies and my certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). The knowledge I have gotten there I could have found maybe also online in a very scattered way. But coaching is not about the knowledge alone. It is about enabling you to incorporate this specific knowledge that you need in the best way it works for you. Because time is money. It is not about the WHAT. The WHAT (the information) is always shared for free online. It’s about the HOW. How YOU can make it happen. And a coach is a catalyst for your fast transformation. You might of course be also able to make it happen without the help of a coach. It will just take you much longer to find the right knowledge and incorporate that into your every-day life with a lot of frustration and trial-and-error. If you are looking for a job in the Corporate world or want to take the next step in your career, I would be happy to support you in your skilful self-presentation and showing your true, authentic self to a company! Therefore, this podcast is based on three pillars: • Self-confidence & self-esteem • Managing your emotions • Concrete communication techniques based on NLP And in each episode, you will hear about one of them. – Subscribe to not miss any important points!
