WAFF-TV in Huntsville, Alabama reports that the U.S. Space and Rocket Center just held its Space Camp for Interested Visually Impaired Students. The acronym for the camp is SCIVIS. SCIVIS coordinators worked with staff in modifying Aviation Challenge and Space Camp simulators and activities to accommodate various blind and visually impaired students. Here to talk about the recent Space Camp, along with next year’s event, is Dan Oates. The blind and visually impaired can play tennis during the COVID-19 pandemic. KGNS-TV in Laredo, Texas reports that the Haynes Recreation Center is offering tennis classes for the blind and visually impaired. Tennis coach Tina Trevino, along with student Christina Sanchez, and her mom Angie will talk about how the blind and visually impaired can play tennis.

Lionel will lead the charge to improve accessibility through OrCam’s technologies for the blind.
