Today is the final day of the National Science Fiction Day show extravaganza. I've really enjoyed doing this one this year. It's been a lot of work but so much fun. You get this every year! To take into account what is being covered here on the show, you don't get everything, for it's impossible to cover everything. It takes far too long. The shows covered on this show are Lost in Space Season 3, Hawkeye, Wheel of Time, Arcane, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Sweet Tooth. He really worked his magic on this score and in my opinion, it is one of his best comedy scores. It's right up there with The Burbs. So sit back, relax as I share with you my thoughts on this great under appreciated film.

Let it be known that as having a guest on my show, Jenn from the Shake the Sheets podcast is guesting on my show today as we discuss Hook from 1991. We discuss some great tidbits on the film itself with background on the cast like the late Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman and the late Bob Hoskins. We also discuss some on the special effects and makeup in the film. The prime reason is for the score by John Williams. This is an episode that should not be missed. Listen and enjoy!

With a classically trained composer Chris Edgar, I interview him with Jenn Paige the director of the film Playing With Beethoven. The film hit theaters on Nov. 26th. You can also rent the film on Vudu, Amazon, and other places. I discuss with Chris, his influences, his background, the specific process for recording live with classically trained players of orchestral instruments, as well as some other unique tools he has learned in his collaboration with Jenn Paige. Jenn Paige has been an actress, and now has become a director who directed the film The Breakout The Rock Opera. Now going on with this new project Playing with Beethoven. Both are very skilled and enjoy the light conversation surrounding the film. Along the way you'll hear some well placed cues from the film and from other projects given the scope and range that these two fine creatives have given us. Listen well, enjoy the conversation and watch the film.
