"What is critical and pretty different about conversion copywriters, is that we will interview your audience. Through sending out surveys or interviewing them directly, we'll do 5ish interviews with people who bought your product or really importantly people who didn't buy your product. So we can understand why they're buying your product, what attracted them to your product, what need your product is filling and in the case of people who didn't buy, what objections stopped them from buying. So we can really understand the psychology of your current customers and your potential customers and what has motivated them enough to buy it."

'The main benefits I see for having a brand strategy, and it differs for every client, but there are a few key areas that I think every brand needs. So it's knowing their audience, knowing why they're doing what they're doing - so their purpose, their point of difference, knowing their brand personality - so their tone of voice but also what it looks like visually and their brand values - so what is it that they stand for. So the benefits of having those key things for example, when it comes to hiring as your business grows, you know what kind of people you want to work with. You can refer back to your values as part of a job listing for example.'

How FB and Google Ads compare

"Google Ads strength lies in when people are in the middle of the funnel or in the bottom of the funnel. Whereas it is usually too expensive to acquire a new customer if someone is in the top of the funnel because you have to go after really research'y based terms. For example if I'm trying to target people who want to learn how to do Google Ads, I might have to bid on keywords such as 'What is google ads?'. Now that's someone at the top of the funnel, they're not quite product or solution aware yet, they're just asking a general question."
