However, the group soon discovers the horrifying truth: those who win the lottery are chosen for euthanasia as part of the society's strict population control measures. As they navigate this unfamiliar world, the Professor is mistaken for his double on this earth who is the Sheriff, a powerful enforcer of the crown's laws. The group initially tries to avoid getting involed in the political turmoil of this parallel Earth, but they are quickly swept up in the chaos. Captured by a band of rebels fighting to overthrow the british goverment, they are forced to confront the regime head-on .

The situation becomes even more dire when quinn is captured by the real sheriff and sentenced to execution. With time running out before the next slide, Wade,Rembrandt, and the Professor must devise a plan to rescue Quinn. At the same time, they grapple with the moral implications of supporting the rebels cause.

And we spotlight "Blood And Splendor" the second Sliders comic special often called a lost episode. The Sliders emerge from a chaotic wormhole chase along with glimpses of alternate versions of themselves only to find themselves in a world where Mesoamerican empires dominate and European history never played out as we know it.

Here, the powerful ruler Montezuma IV sees there arrival as a divine sign and plots to conquer the multiverse. Quinn refuses to help Montezuma with his schemes, he's captured and faces ritual sacrifice at the top of a massive pyramid. Meanwhile, the rest of the team races against time fighting fierce warriors and strange tunnel creatures to rescue Quinn from the altar and slide out before they become permanet tributes.

This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "Double Cross" (Season 3 Episode 2)

In this episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, the Sliders arrive in San Angeles, a sprawling megalopolis formed by the merger of Los Angeles and San Fransico, suffering from resource shortages and sky high prices-gas sells for over $400 a gallon. Rembrandt is whisked away by an obsessed fan named Monique, while Quinn, Wade, and Arturo are taken to Prototronics, a lab working on sliding technology.

There, they meet Logan St. Claire, Quinns female double, who offers to help Quinn fix there timer in exchange for his assistance with her research. Arturo and Wade uncover that Logan murdered their world's Arturo and is using sliding tech to raid other earths for resources. Logan then kidnaps Wade as leverage. Quinn and Arturo break into Prototronics to rescue her, recover the timer, and share evidence of Logan's crimes with Arturo's widow.

During a blackout caused by rolling brownouts, they make there escape-but not before Quinn sabotages Logan's timer instead of sending her back to San Angleles, he programs it so she'll slide randomly within a 400-mile radius.

From this point on, the Sliders can only land anywhere between San Fransico and Los Angeles-and Logan has learned to track to track there vortexes, setting up a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "In Dino Veritas" ( Season 2 Episode 7)

In this episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we delve into Sliders season 2, episode 6, "Time Again And World." The Sliders land on a Earth where J. Edgar Hoover seized control after President Kennedy's assassination, establishing a policed state that has suppressed the Constitution for over 30 years.

Upon arrival, Wade witnesses a murder and retrieves a mysterious microdot from the victom. Sliding to the next world, the team finds themsleves in a similar authoritarian society, where the same murder is about to occur. This time, Wade intervenes, Causing the assailant to be killed, who is revealed to be a police officer.

The Sliders become entangled in a complex conspiracy involving the suppressed Constitution and a resistance movement. With the help of a local judge and his daughter, they uncover a plan to restore constitutinal governance by distributing the document through a underground network. As they navigate this dangerous enviorment, the team avoid the oppressive authorities, decipher the significance of the microdot, and assist the resistance in there quest for freedom- all while ensuring they don't miss their next slide.

Sliders Season 2 Wrap Up

In this special episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we take a look back at Season 2 of Sliders. This season, the team faced a variety of strange and challenging worlds, each with there own unique twist.

One of the biggest developments was meeting the Kromaggs in "Invasion." These are dangerous beings who can slide between worlds just like the team, and they have plans to take over Earth they find. This encounter sets up a new, ongoing threat for the Sliders.

The season finale, "As Time Goes By," had the team visiting three diffrent worlds where they kept running into versions of the same people, including Quinn's old high school crush, Daelin. In one world, time even moves backwards, adding to the confusion and challenges they face.

Throught the season, the Sliders dealt with issues like age discrimination, government control, and personal idenity. They also had to rely on each other more than ever as they navigated these complex worlds.

This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "As Time Goes By" (Season 2 Episode 13)

In this episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we explore the season 2 finale of the seires "As Time Goes By." The Sliders find themselves repeatedly encountering the same individuals across three different worlds, notably Quinn's high school sweetheart, Daelin Richards.

On the first world, California is part of a spanish-ruled nation called Nueva Espana. Quinn reunites with Daelin, who is engaged to Dennis McMillan. When the Sliders are detained by immigration authorities, Quinn escapes and, with Daelin's help orchestrates a rescue. However, Dennis betrays them, leading to a tragic outcome.

Quinn discovers that this double on this world was recently murdered. To investigate, he assumes his double's idenity and steps into his corporate role, promoting an educational software called EduLearn. As he digs deeper, Quinn uncovers unsettling truths about his double's death. Meanwhile Arturo and Rembrandt get into trouble for violating age-based laws and face jail time.

The situatuion escalates when Wade's double, who was married to Quinn's double, is revealed to be behind the murder. She plans to eliminate the Sliders to cover her tracks, but Wade confronts her, leading to her arrest.

Upon arrival, the team inadvertently disrupts the wedding of two mayjor crime families, an event intended to unite their power. Complicating matters, Rembrandt is mistaken for his double from this world, who is the Deputy Director of the FBI and leader of "The Incorruptibles," a group dedicated to combating orginized crime.

As the Sliders navigate this treacherous environment, they encounter various challanges, including the complexities of a society where crime syndicates hold significant power and blurr the lines between law enforcement and corruption. The episode also features  a guest appearance by jazz legend Mel Torme, who plays himself and gets involved in the groups adventure.

In this special episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we continue celebrating Sliders 30th anniversary and delve into the intriguing narrative of "Narcotica," a story wriiten by Sliders star Jerry O'Connell. Originally deemed to dark for television, this tale found its place in the Sliders comic series as "Sliders Special #1:Narcotica."

In "Narcotica," the Sliders arrive on an alternate earth where drug use is not only legal but also government-mandated. They find themselves in a society where narcotics are intergrated into daily life, with vendors openly selling hallucinogenic substances. The government enforces drug consumption laws, and anternative version of Professor Arturo was a prominent anti-drug protest leader who was allegedly assassinated. As the Sliders navigate this world, they encounter a resistance movement led by Timothy Leary and must decide weather to aid in the fight aginst oppression or focus on escaping before Rembrandt is forcibly drugged at a Toxification center.
