Episode 335 - X-wing is dead, long live X-wing! We're back already! And today we're chatting about the news that although Atomic Mass Games may have given up developing the X-wing Miniatures Game... the community is not ready to give up on the game! Earlier today there was an announcement by around 30 members of the community that are looking to take over the stewardship of X-wing. You can find this on our Facebook page and Discord, as well as on many others out there! This group is trying to represent a wide cross section of the player base including some of the prominent content creators and membership from a large number of different countries and communities. Tim, Liam and Ben are part of this group and although early days we chat a little about what's been going on (warning: this is few days old so it's very early on) and what the group might be doing in short and long term. We also chat over some of the FAQ's that have been produced regarding the project. It should also be stated the Sith Takers do not decide what's going to happen and what we say is personal opinion, nothing has been decided bar the group needs to establish a structure and set some goals.
