Kenny Omega Is AEW World Champion! | Dynamite Delivers, Kyle Fletcher Wins Gold & Andrade Catches Fire
Episode 117
Saturday, July 11, 2026 • Duration 01:39:22
The allegations are true.
Blade Daily and special guest Books and Bodyslams are shameless Kenny Omega fans, and this episode is an unapologetic celebration of Omega's AEW Men's World Championship victory over MJF. If you came looking for objective journalism... you have made a terrible mistake.
But there's plenty more to celebrate from one of AEW's strongest episodes of Dynamite in recent memory.
The crew dives into Kyle Fletcher's AEW International Championship victory, what the loss means for Konosuke Takeshita, why Andrade is connecting with audiences like never before, and the surprising success of a Women's Casino Gauntlet that actually advanced multiple storylines. (We know. We were shocked too.)
Plus, the hosts discuss why this Dynamite felt like a major step forward for AEW's momentum and what it could mean heading into the next chapter of the company's biggest stories.
Whether you're a fellow Kenny Omega believer or you're just here to hear us get carried away, pull up a chair and join the conversation.
Topics include:
Kenny Omega defeats MJF to become AEW World Champion
Why the title match delivered
Kyle Fletcher wins the AEW International Championship
What's next for Konosuke Takeshita?
Andrade's growing popularity with AEW fans
The Women's Casino Gauntlet finally moves stories forward

MJF vs. Kenny Omega's Controversial Stipulation, Jon Moxley Fatigue & AEW Forbidden Door Fallout
Episode 116
Saturday, July 4, 2026 • Duration 01:35:42
Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams break down the fallout from AEW Forbidden Door and the biggest talking points coming out of one of the company's most eventful weeks of the year.
The conversation begins with AEW's shocking announcement of MJF vs. Kenny Omega, featuring the controversial stipulation that Omega can never challenge for the AEW World Championship again if he loses. Why is AEW presenting such a massive match on Dynamite instead of saving it for the Redemption pay-per-view in Canada? Is the internet's backlash justified, or are fans judging the story before it has a chance to unfold?
The hosts also discuss whether Jon Moxley fatigue has become a legitimate concern, if the Death Riders should step back to allow other stories to breathe, Hikaru Shida's TBS Championship victory and what comes next, plus the biggest winners, lingering questions, and future directions following Forbidden Door.
Join Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams for another lively, fan-driven discussion covering AEW, Dynamite, Forbidden Door, Kenny Omega, MJF, Jon Moxley, Hikaru Shida, and everything happening on the road to Redemption.

Forbidden Door 2026 Preview & Predictions | Does AEW Need Shorter Matches?
Episode 115
Saturday, June 27, 2026 • Duration 01:35:29
Forbidden Door is here, and that means it's time for Blade Daily to make a full slate of predictions that history suggests are almost guaranteed to be wrong.
In this episode of Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade previews every announced match for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026, breaking down the biggest stories, potential surprises, and the outcomes that could shape AEW, NJPW, STARDOM, and CMLL heading into the summer.
The conversation also turns to one of the week's biggest talking points: AEW Dynamite fitting eight matches into just over two hours while maintaining a remarkably high level of in-ring quality. Is that the formula AEW has been searching for? Could shorter, more focused matches create the television time needed to better showcase the Women's Division without sacrificing what fans love about Dynamite?
Finally, Blade weighs in on the blockbuster 12-man steel cage main event at Forbidden Door. Is it the can't-miss attraction of the event, or are there stronger stories elsewhere on the card that deserve even more attention?
If you're looking for thoughtful AEW analysis, Forbidden Door predictions, and discussion on the future of AEW's presentation, this episode has you covered.
Topics include:
Full AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 predictions
The biggest matches and potential show stealers
Dynamite's successful eight-match format
Should AEW embrace shorter matches?
The ongoing conversation around the Women's Division
Is the 12-man cage match the right main event?
Listener predictions and reactions

The Black Wrestlers Who Changed Wrestling Forever | Mercedes Moné vs Hazuki & The Forbidden Door Problem
Episode 114
Saturday, June 20, 2026 • Duration 02:07:17
In recognition of Juneteenth, Blade Daily, Antione Raphael, and Shane Graham reflect on the Black wrestlers who made the greatest impact on their lives as fans and on the professional wrestling industry as a whole. From groundbreaking pioneers to modern-day stars, the trio discusses the performers whose influence helped shape wrestling's past, present, and future.
The conversation then turns to one of the most talked-about matches of the week as Mercedes Moné and Hazuki delivered an instant classic on AEW Dynamite. The crew examines what made the match so special, whether AEW's Women's Division is gaining momentum, and what challenges still remain. They also tackle the growing concern surrounding Forbidden Door, asking why the annual event so often arrives with fewer cross-promotional dream matches than fans expect. Are more announcements coming? Is the criticism fair? And who bears responsibility when expectations and reality collide?
Join Blade, Antione, and Shane for another passionate, thoughtful, and occasionally chaotic discussion covering AEW, NJPW, STARDOM, women's wrestling, Forbidden Door, and the performers who continue to leave their mark on the wrestling industry.

Are Wrestling Fans Judging Stories Too Early? | Kevin Knight, Mercedes Moné & Thekla
Episode 112
Saturday, June 6, 2026 • Duration 01:28:18
Has social media changed the way wrestling fans experience stories?
This week on Sit Down Shut Up Mark Out, Blade Daily and Books and Bodyslams examine the intense reaction to Kevin Knight joining the Don Callis Family and ask a larger question: Are wrestling fans judging the end of stories before they've seen the beginning? The duo explores how modern wrestling discourse is shaped by instant reactions, fantasy booking, and assumptions about where a storyline is headed before it has a chance to develop.
The conversation also turns to the return of Mercedes Moné and what her presence means for AEW's women's division. Is bringing back one of the biggest stars in wrestling enough to secure more television time and meaningful storylines for the women of AEW? Plus, Thekla declares "DEATH to STARDOM!" and immediately positions herself as one of the most intriguing figures in the company. What comes next for Thekla, Mercedes, and the future of the women's division?
Join Blade and Books for a thoughtful and spirited discussion covering AEW Dynamite, Kevin Knight, the Don Callis Family, Mercedes Moné, Thekla, wrestling fandom, storytelling, and the evolving landscape of All Elite Wrestling.

What Is Happening to AEW's Women's Division? | Double or Nothing Fallout
Episode 111
Saturday, May 30, 2026 • Duration 01:24:44
AEW Double or Nothing has come and gone, and the fallout may be even more interesting than the event itself. Blade Daily, Books and Bodyslams, and Innitbab break down Konosuke Takeshita's long-awaited victory over Kazuchika Okada, Kevin Knight's shocking heel turn, and the increasingly complex relationship between Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, and Jon Moxley as the road to All In begins to take shape.
The crew also tackles one of the most heated discussions in the AEW fanbase: the state of the Women's Division. Following a three-hour episode of Dynamite that featured minimal women's content outside of a squash match and a late-night Lights Out main event, questions are being asked about presentation, television time, character development, and long-term storytelling. Is concern about the division justified? Why does the topic create such strong reactions among fans? And what can AEW do to better showcase one of the most talented women's rosters in wrestling?
Plus, additional Double or Nothing fallout, Dynamite analysis, fan reactions, and plenty of wrestling nonsense along the way.
