Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #20 – The "Shoulds" of Marketing21 Oct 202600:06:30

In this episode of Kate's Take, I tackle a question I hear constantly: "I know I should be doing Pinterest, so why haven't I started?"

It kicks off after a call with a conference organizer who admitted she'd been curious about Pinterest for years but never acted on it. That conversation is the jumping-off point for a bigger idea: business owners are surrounded by noise about what's "working" for everyone else, and it's easy to confuse someone else's success story with your own strategy.

I break down why every new platform, whether it's Pinterest, Instagram, or Substack, requires a real investment before it pays off. You won't usually see forward movement for six to nine months. That's the time it takes to figure out what content resonates, which images perform, and which keywords actually drive traffic. There's no shortcut around that ramp-up period, no matter which platform you choose.

I also dig into the trap of "right way" analysis paralysis: watching what everyone else is doing and assuming their approach must be the correct one, instead of asking what your own business actually needs right now. I share a moment of watching two business owners on Instagram build a "marketing strategy" that was really just an Instagram strategy in disguise, and why that distinction matters.

The episode closes with a practical gut check for anyone weighing whether to invest in Pinterest (or any new platform): Do you have the time to create content consistently? The patience to wait six to eight months for traction? And are you chasing likes and views that feel good but don't convert, versus the slower, real kind of growth?

I also mention I'm looking to get back into conference speaking in 2027 after taking a year off, so if you know of an event that would be a good fit, reach out to hello@simplepinmedia.com.

In this episode:

  • Why every new marketing platform takes 6-9 months before you see real traction
  • How to stop comparing your strategy to everyone else's highlight reel
  • The difference between a real marketing strategy and just "doing one platform well"
  • Questions to ask yourself before committing to Pinterest (or any new channel)
  • Why dopamine hits (likes, views) can mask a lack of actual conversions

Pinterest Wins: Photography that connect14 Oct 202600:32:33

One of the things that we talk about here at Simple Pin Media is that photography makes one of the biggest differences on Pinterest because pinners don't read. They connect with the image right away, and it lets them know whether or not it's relevant to them, whether they want to click, or whether they want to scroll on by. I brought in somebody today who is really good at taking amazing images that get people to click.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #19 - A life update07 Oct 202600:02:07

Hey, it's Kate. This one's a little different. I’ve mentioned a few times that I have needed to step back for a few things, and I’m finally ready to share more about what’s been happening behind the scenes.

In April, I was diagnosed with breast cancer via a routine mammogram. I've kept it private until now, and since it's October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it felt like the time to share.

I’ve been in the midst of surgery, radiation, and a million doctor's appointments, but I’m coming up for air, and that feels good. A different version of Kate, but still me.

I'm not going to tell the whole story here. I recorded a longer video on YouTube where I walk through what happened, what I learned about my own business when I couldn't be in it, and why it's shaping the book I'm writing with Lulupublishing. There are two ways to follow this journey – on my website kateahl.com or via Substack (it’s free) https://kateahl.substack.com/

But if you only hear one thing from me today, let it be this. If you're due for a mammogram, book it. Don't wait for the business to slow down. It won't.

Thank you for listening, all these years. It means a lot.

Talk soon.

Pinterest Wins: Pinterest Ad Updates and Takeaways30 Sep 202600:37:44

Pinterest ads can feel like a black box — so we're pulling back the curtain. In this episode, I sit down with Erin, our Ads Director, to talk through the real wins we're seeing across client accounts right now: what's working, what surprised us, and what we'd tell any business considering Pinterest ads for the first time.

Whether you're running ads yourself or thinking about handing it off to someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes Pinterest strategy, this episode pulls from real, current client results — not theory.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #18 – When Pinterest marketing feels boring23 Sep 202600:06:20

Lately I’ve been having fun uing Pinterest personally and it got me thinking about how we view a platform for personal use vs our business marketing. Sometimes we’re so segmented about the two that sooner or later things feel really stale and we wonder if the platform is doing anything for us. Here’s a bit about my recent experience.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #17 – Creating AI pathways that help save time.09 Sep 202600:06:13

I've been on a hunt lately.

Not for a new strategy. Not for a new platform.  For shortcuts.

Real ones. The kind that save you actual time. Without costing you the impact.

Let's be honest. Most "shortcuts" in marketing? Just corners getting cut. This isn't that.

This is me trying to find where the busywork ends. And the real thinking can start.

Here's the specific one I've been chasing.

I want a tool. Something that looks at our Pinterest content. And tells me, fast — what's trending up. What's trending down. And what we should make next because of it.

Not a vague vibe check.  An actual answer.

Here's what that process looks like right now. Without the tool.

Someone pulls Pinterest Analytics. Someone pulls Google Analytics. Someone's tracking Pinterest Trends by hand — because there's no public API for it.

Then all of that gets stitched into a spreadsheet. Someone writes up what it means. And then, finally — we get to the fun part. Deciding what to create next.

That's hours. Every single week. For every account.

I've heard whispers of people doing this. Testing it on their own workflow. Their own content. Their own accounts.

That's one thing.

What I'm trying to figure out — is whether it holds up for client accounts. Multiple accounts. Different niches. Different goals. Different baselines for what "normal" even looks like.

And here's my worry. I want to say this part out loud, instead of pretending I've got it solved.

Gaps.

What happens when the tool doesn't know a 20% dip in saves is totally normal for this account in July? But for that account, in that same month? It's a five-alarm fire.

What happens when it flags something as trending, and it's really just noise?

A good report doesn't just save you time. It has to be right. Or it's actually worse than doing it by hand — because now you're making decisions off something that looks trustworthy. And isn't.

So here's what I'm building toward, behind the scenes.

A weekly report. Pulls the analytics. Pulls the performance data. Flags what actually moved in a meaningful way. And hands it to us in something short.

Bullet points. Something you can read in under a minute. Not a ten-tab spreadsheet you have to sit and interpret.

I don't have it fully solved yet. I'm not going to stand here and tell you I cracked it, and here's the seven-step system.

I'm in it right now. That's kind of the point of this take.

So here's what I actually want from you.

Have you seen anyone doing this well? Not just talking about automating reporting — actually running a tool like this against real accounts. Getting a report they trust.

What did it get wrong? Where were the gaps?

I want the real version of this story. Not the highlight reel.

Because if we get this right — the payoff isn't just saved hours.

It's that the time we get back goes straight into the part of this work that actually needs a human. Deciding what to create. Reading the account, not just the data.

That's the shortcut worth chasing. Not less work for the sake of less work. Less time on the parts a machine can do accurately. So there's more time for the parts only we can do well.

If you've tested something like this — or you're testing it right now — I want to hear about it.

If you’re in SPM Insiders, Drop it in the group. Let's compare notes.

If not, email me, hello@Simplepinmedia.com

That's my take. Talk soon.

Pinterest Wins: Pinterest Working While You Make a Pivot02 Sep 202600:34:16

Pinterest is often talked about like a platform you have to constantly feed — but what happens when you stop? In this episode, I talk with a former TpT seller turned travel creator who hasn't touched Pinterest for her shop in ages... and it's still sending her sales.

We dig into why Pinterest content keeps working long after you walk away, what she built early on that's still paying off, and what this means for anyone building a TpT, Etsy, or digital product business who's worried about keeping up with Pinterest forever.

If you've ever wondered whether Pinterest effort actually compounds — this is the proof.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #16 – AI tools that are helpful instead of distracting. (Tailwind’s new MCP server)26 Aug 202600:07:32

You got the email, you're confused, let's break it down

So Tailwind sent out an email about something called an MCP server, and if you read it and thought "what does that even mean," you're not alone. Let's break it down simply. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. Think of it as a translator between AI assistants, like Claude or ChatGPT, and the software you already use. Before this, if you wanted an AI to help with a task, you'd copy information out of one app, paste it into your AI chat, get a response, then copy that back into the other app. Clunky. MCP removes that step. It lets your AI assistant talk directly to Tailwind and actually do things inside it. So now, instead of opening the Tailwind dashboard, you can tell your AI assistant to schedule a Pin, and it happens. That's what the email was announcing.

Does this fit into your existing workflow, and is it even necessary?

Here's the question I'd actually ask if I got that email. If you're already using Tailwind to schedule, does this save you time? Fair question, because scheduling itself isn't really the bottleneck Tailwind already solves. The real time savings comes from cutting out the handoff between drafting your content and publishing it. Right now your workflow could look like this. You draft your pin copy somewhere, then you go open Tailwind, upload the image, paste in the title and description, pick the board, hit schedule. That's two tools and at least one copy-paste step. With MCP, drafting and scheduling happen in the same conversation. You write the pin copy with your AI, and it just does that last step for you. One less tool, one less switch.

But I'll be honest with you. If you're just batch pinning of pre-made images with no copy to write, Tailwind's own scheduler is already fast, and this won't feel meaningfully different. It shines when content creation and scheduling are two separate steps you're doing back to back. This collapses them into one. So is it necessary? No. Is it useful if your workflow already starts with writing? Yes.

How to leverage AI for your Pinterest marketing

If you're going to use AI for Pinterest at all, the highest value spot isn't the scheduling piece, it's the content piece. Use it to draft pin titles and descriptions, brainstorm keyword variations, repurpose a blog post or podcast episode into pin copy, or review what you already have scheduled and catch gaps. The AI is most useful the moment before something needs to be written, not the moment it needs to be clicked.

A few questions to ask yourself before you adopt this

Before you add any new tool or integration to your workflow, ask yourself these:

  • Does this remove a step I'm already doing, or does it just add a new thing to learn?
  • Is my current bottleneck actually scheduling, or is it content creation?
  • Will I actually use this weekly, or is it a shiny new feature I'll try once and forget?
  • Does this fit how my team already works, or does it require retraining everyone?

If you can't answer yes to at least one of those in a way that saves you real time, it's fine to let this one sit for now. Not every new AI feature needs to become part of your process.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #15 – A side project12 Aug 202600:03:31

There have been some tough things personally happening in the background. I always hate when people share things like this and don’t say what, but that they will share lately. Sitting firmly in that seat, I now understand why they say that. My apologies for adding to that noise. I promise is not a trend or a marketing ploy.

Anyway, this tough season has prompted a project for me that has been years in the making. I think it’s lived rent-free in my brain and was waiting for the time to be released. That time is quickly approaching and it’s time to share a bit about what that is.

I’m writing a book. That seems so scary to say out loud because it means I have to do it…but previous to the release of the book, I’m writing on Substack about this process and how I got here.

I have a passion for small business owners. The ones starting their business from a scary idea and taking the brave leap into action. The ones that grind it out at the kitchen table. Maybe they have little kids and are working during naptime. Maybe they are retired and wonder if they’ve always needed to leap into this venture.

Regardless, the business starts and grows. Then there’s this question of hiring, getting help, and not letting the business eat you alive. The spark that ignited the idea slowly feels crushing and worries about what if start to creep in.

You want to hire but you don’t know how. You want to take a vacation but honestly, can’t step away from the computer for more than 12 hours. And if we’re being frank, what if tragedy strikes and you need to step away to be present for that, and you’re left with the question to let it all come crashing to the ground or keep working through pain.

I believe there is another way. An emergency preparedness plan for your business that allows you to build something you can step away from for a season.

That’s what I’m writing about on Substack and the book. The story of how I built my company to be able to step away. Giving you the stories, tools, and leadership ideas I’ve held so closely but haven’t shared.

If you’re a business owner who is looking for a path to build an emergency plan for your business that also allows you to take a vacation, I’d for you to follow along.

Listen Again: How to Write Great Pin Descriptions22 Jul 202600:12:03

Today we are diving into what makes great Pinterest descriptions and how to write one. This is by far one of the most powerful SEO tools you have for Pinterest. That little section of text tells the Pinterest algorithm and sometimes even Google exactly what your Pin is about. Knowing what makes a great pin description could be the difference between getting your content seen on Pinterest and not.

Listen Again: Are You Getting Caught In This Trap?08 Jul 202600:24:58

Lately, there’s been a lot of chatter about Pinterest traffic trending downward, and with it comes a whole slew of theories, including algorithm changes, technical glitches, and even the dreaded “AI slop” taking over. I get it. It’s frustrating to watch your numbers dip and not know where to place the blame. But here’s my question: are we spending too much time chasing low-value, $1 tasks like deleting pins or mass-joining group boards, when we should be focusing on higher-return, $10 tasks? In one client case, by leveraging Pinterest trends intentionally, we saw a 119% increase in traffic. It was a reminder that our time is precious, and high-value tasks are what truly move the needle.

This episode is a replay of a previously aired episode.

Listen Again: Pinterest Quality Checklist23 Jun 202600:19:02

One of the most common questions I get from my community is, “How do I get my pins seen on Pinterest?” Visibility on Pinterest doesn’t just mean more clicks, it can lead to more sales, more email signups, and more traffic overall. Over the years, I’ve learned that quality content always wins. Without it, even the best strategies can fall flat. Recently, as part of the Pinterest Educator Program, I had the opportunity to meet directly with the Pinterest team to learn exactly what they look for when deciding which pins to show. What I discovered was so helpful, I knew I had to share it with you.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #12 – The summer plan17 Jun 202600:04:57

During the summer we have run story series, taking breaks, run replays, etc. Honestly there isn’t a perfect rhythm and what we have learned is to be flexible. Due to some circumstances this summer I’m unable to record the story series, but I hope you’ve enjoyed all the interviews I’ve done so far. There will be more of those to come!

Over the next 3 episodes we plan to air replays of some of our favorite interviews from the past or episodes that a lot of people have enjoyed or listened to.

We hope this summer for you is a place where you can enjoy your vacations, rest, and find delight in things that might be business adjacent or maybe there are business saturated. I’ve found there is no one right way to do your summer vacation.

Can Pinterest & Substack work together?10 Jun 202600:38:47

Substack has been around for a few years now but there’s more interest in how to connect is to Pinterest. More importantly how to drive traffic to Substack with Pinterest. We have a few beta clients going through our services for us to test it and so far the results are great.

Chef Carla emailed me about Substack when I shared this experiment in one of my newsletters. As a result, we had a chat, she shared her history, and where she plans to go from here. And how it includes Pinterest. Here’s more of that conversation.

Tara Jacobsen is on that journey, so we wanted to start with an interview with her as she is starting out, and then our plan is to revisit this project in the next 6 months to see if it’s actually working.

Tara didn't figure this out overnight; she had support, a strategy, and a community around her. That's what SPM Insiders is built for. If you want that same kind of guidance for your Etsy shop on Pinterest, join us. Monthly trainings, a Q&A with me, and people who are in the messy middle right alongside you. https://www.skool.com/spm-insiders

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #10 – Breaking down the engineering blog20 May 202600:06:03

Think of Pinterest's home feed like a TV channel.

Pinterest's job is to keep people watching. Not just for five minutes today — but coming back tomorrow, next week, next month. So they've spent years building a system that figures out the best mix of content to show each person.

Here's what they learned and changed:

Variety keeps people watching. Repetition drives them away. They actually tested this. When they showed people more of the same type of content (even stuff the person seemed to like), engagement went up for one day — then tanked. People got bored and left. So Pinterest now actively mixes things up in your feed on purpose, even if you've been saving a lot of one thing.

What this means for you: If you're posting a lot of pins that look nearly identical — same image style, same topic, same colors — Pinterest is going to spread them way out or stop showing them altogether. Not because they're bad, but because showing ten of the same thing in a row is bad for the viewer.

Pinterest got a lot smarter about what "similar" means. It used to mostly go by topic category (like "home decor" or "recipes"). Now it looks at the actual image, the words in your description, and the topic — all at the same time. So you can't just change the caption and call it a different pin. If it looks the same, Pinterest knows.

New pins get evaluated almost instantly now. In the past, a brand new pin might take a while to get "understood" by Pinterest. Now it's nearly immediate. Good news if you're posting fresh, varied content. But it also means a low-quality or repetitive pin gets flagged just as fast.

Borderline content doesn't just get removed anymore — it gets quietly pushed down. If a pin doesn't fully meet Pinterest's quality standards, instead of just deleting it, they now space it way out in feeds so it rarely shows up. It's still there, but it's basically invisible.

The big takeaway: Pinterest is rewarding accounts that post a good variety of content consistently over time. Not flooding the platform with 50 nearly-identical pins. Think of it like setting a dinner table — you want a mix of things, not the same dish in every spot.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #9 – The hierarchy of product sales on Pinterest06 May 202600:05:27

I shared this with a friend recently and thought, why don’t I share it here. Pinterest is now calling itself an AI-powered search platform with an emphasis on shopping. No doubt you’ve seen more and more products in your feed. But not all products get the same exposure or sales. So here’s what we’ve seen within our agency that might help you gauge how much emphasis to put on growth when it comes to Pinterest marketing.

Working with Brands on Pinterest29 Apr 202600:43:32

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #822 Apr 202600:05:40

My two guiding principles right now in business – where is the money flowing and where do people need transformational wins – big or small. I started out in 2010 with Facebook and the boom of affiliates. Coupon clicks, prints, and it basically feeling like the wild wild west of the internet. The joke in the 2010’s is you could basically print money. A lot of people got rich off courses, affiliates, and the easy money.

It’s harder now. Algorithms, discovery is more difficult and neither ads nor organic work 100% of the time. You have to stay curious, open to new pathways, and agile.

That’s tough in this market when you’re burned out. I was on threads the other day, and the amount of posts from people feeling like they couldn’t do one more thing was abundant. It made me sad. I’ve been there before and in that season, and only one thing helped me.

What’s the one thing I can do right now (big or small) that will put me in the path of the money flow and support people with wins? Sometimes that meant writing an email to those in a particular industry. Sometimes it meant connecting with someone. Sometimes it meant creating a new Pinterest image for a post. Other times it meant sitting back to do a little dreaming.

Leaving my consistent workplace for a coffee shop, corner of a hotel lobby, or something different to jog ideas.

Q2 is tough on Pinterest. It feels like there is no movement. If you’re in the US, you just paid a crap ton of taxes, and you’re feeling the itch of summer, but it’s not quite there yet.

I would leave you with one question today – what’s one thing that you can do to position yourself in the flow of commerce within your industry and connect with someone or a group of people that just need help and support.

What’s Working with Pinterest Ads in 2026?01 Apr 202600:48:44

There has never been a better time to dive into Pinterest. Between their AI Automated Performance+ and building your own ads, there is a lot of potential. One of our clients got 90x ROAS on one of their campaigns. Mind blown. Today I’m talking with our direct or ads and design to go deeper into what’s working right now.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #6 – everything is fine25 Mar 202600:04:57

Someone said to me recently that I might be putting on a happy face but Pinterest is going down. First, I would say, that might be a fair assessment as I always like to see the good. AND I have an entire community following me to understand how to view and navigate the platform. I take that very seriously so making sure i”m neither overly optimistic nor pessimistic.

Let me address where I’m at. I think Pinterest has changed drastically in 2026 and I’ve not been shy about saying that. Maybe some people haven’t heard me mention it but I did a webinar last month where I talked about what was the same and what was different.

I think slop has invaded the platform and while Pinterest has made some attempts, it’s not enough yet. That’s hard to watch. Users still like the platform but some are becoming more exhausted with it daily.

It’s shifted more to products and for some of our product sellers they are crushing it – both organic and paid ads. We had a 90 ROAS on one of our ads clients campaigns. That’s incredible.

Elliot Investments just put $1 billion into Pinterest which makes me a little nervous. If you’ve watched the massive changes on Southwest airlines and wondered who made those changes, look no further than Elliot. They won’t do anything sudden but it’s something to watch for sure over the next 2 years.

Where does this leave content creators? In a tough spot. But do I think all hope is lost? No. But I do think each business owner has to benchmark their goals, progress, time, and investment just like they would any other platform.

I think the entire internet has had a massive overhaul since 2022 when Chat GPT was introduced and we’re all still trying to figure it out.

My team and I are talking daily about trying new things. We’re investigating, testing, going deep on Reddit threads, looking for articles and working to make the platform work for our clients in the best way we can.

Do we nail it every time? Certainly not and I will be the first to say that it’s so frustrating to not be able to win for our clients. We care about their businesses just like we care about SPM.

To those who want my deep thoughts on Pinterest, thoughtful discussions, and to be with other business owners who are troubleshooting Pinterest where it’s at, join me in SPM insiders. This group has incredible ideas and we’re all committed to finding ways to make it work. Just $9/month and you get a call with me monthly. I think it’s worth testing it out just for 1 month to see that I’m not all sunshine and roses about Pinterest all the time.

She Quiet Quit Her Blog18 Mar 202600:55:10

Rachel Farnsworth started 2026 with an announcement that she was “quiet quitting” blogging. Not because she didn’t want to invest in the community that she had built over the last 10  years, but because she wanted to invest more. Learn why she changed course and what 2026 holds for her.

Intro - Call to Action:

You know, one of the questions I get asked most often is: "Kate, how do I actually make Pinterest work for my business without spending hours every single day on it?"

And here's the truth - Pinterest is one of the most powerful cold-traffic platforms out there for creators and shop owners. But it requires a consistent strategy, fresh content, and staying on top of all the platform changes. And let's be honest... most of us don't have time for that.

That's exactly why we created our Pinterest management services at Simple Pin Media.

For over twelve years, we've been managing Pinterest accounts for clients - from bloggers and content creators to course creators and ecommerce businesses. We handle everything: the strategy, the pin creation, the scheduling, the analytics, the optimization, and Ads.

And here's what sets us apart: we're constantly learning, strategizing, and pivoting our approach based on what's actually working on Pinterest right now. When the platform changes, we adapt immediately - and all of our clients benefit from that expertise.

If you're tired of Pinterest being on your never-ending to-do list, or you've tried DIY-ing it and just aren't seeing the results you want, we can help.

Head to simplepinmedia.com to learn more about our management services and see if we're a good fit. That's simplepinmedia.com.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #511 Mar 202600:05:12

Where is Pinterest going and how does it serve creators as their founding business adopters? Our team has actively been investing in e-commerce sellers, as Pinterest has given us signals since 2022 that it is headed in that direction. From the hiring of Bill Ready from PayPal and Venmo and his stacking of the C-suite team with other e-commerce-forward C-suite leaders, the writing was on the wall. But that leaves the big question of where do creators fit into all of this. Do people on Pinterest still find them discoverable?

Lately, I’ve been playing around on Pinterest more as a user. Just to see what is coming up for me. Of course, the AI slop which is all around the internet, but products are definitely something that comes up strong the moment I give the algorithm any signal that I like.

I’m going to Spain in the fall for my 50th birthday. We’re spending 2 weeks exploring the country with friends and I cannot wait. I’ve already started looking at clothes and new swimsuits. The moment I clicked on a suit, my feed was flooded with resortware and more swim. It was hard to find content.

But now I’'m searching for tips on Spain and it’s back.

That being said, search is still alive and well. In fact, Pinterest in the Q4 2025 investor report, said they have more searches than Chat GPT. That’s impressive. Also, users grew to 614 million.

But something lacked in their report and caused the stock to dip – advertisers impacted by strong headwinds due to tariffs. Those were their words, not mine. What does that mean then? E-commerce sellers on a large scale - think Target and Walmart- were hit hard and pulled back advertising dollars.

Queue a new C-suite member who is specifically targeting small and mid-size businesses for advertising. Those who are selling products are PRIME for spending money on Pinterest Ads.

Our clients prove this out with our e-commerce sellers having some of the highest ROI in Q4 of 2025.

Last, I’ll say this. We’re leaning into experimenting with Substack and how to leverage Pinterest for growth of subscribers. We have two accounts running the experiment now and they are eager to prove out this model by going through our accelerator model first and then transitioning into ads. Our team is so curious and excited.

Is Pinterest dead in 2026? A question I’ve been asked every year. I don’t think so but the old models aren’t work. It’s time to think differently and creatively.

Kate's Take: Quick thoughts on Pinterest marketing #4 - Blinders25 Feb 202600:05:01

In thinking through the best Pinterest strategy, I’m going in with blinders on. What can I learn from my data, my clicks, my saves, my images, my keywords? If I really sat with that, it would go counter to what the online world has trained me to do. Look at what other people are doing, who has the right answer, and how can I follow their rules. More of my thoughts on that.

This is the foundational thing that makes Pinterest different19 Nov 202500:25:03

In a recent conversation with one of my Pinterest educator friends we discussed some hurdles that marketers might have regarding using Pinterest. Namely, how boards work on Pinterest. For me, this was a lightbulb moment. I hadn’t really thought about how boards worked on Pinterest. I’ve always just know. For the first I empathized with the concept being one that would cause some marketers to be confused. In order to help overcome any misunderstandings people might have about boards, I wanted to teach more about the history, the concept, and how this can help marketers reach more people on Pinterest.  I thought it would be best to partner with Pinterest and pull together definitions, resources, and workflows for how to be utilize boards for Pinterest marketing.
