When would a good time be to switch soft plastics to a different design when the fish aren't biting and everything has gone stale, even after applying the good one xfaxtor, I never know when to change plastics and then end up not changing it at all most times.

How long of a leader do I use? What are the reasons behind that.

I discuss the easiest lure technique to get going that has worked for me in my quest to catch fish. Slow lifting, how and why it is effective, and one of the most mistake-proof techniques. 

This concept is something every angler should come to terms with. Too many people discount the cost of gear as having any influence in their fishing results and others place too much importance. Neither school of thought is entirely correct. Is it the reason why you are being held back from achieving your desired results when you fish? I'm going to explain this in detail why it matters and hopefully it helps you to make more informed decisions on your future purchases. 

Shroom discusses some common questions such as: how do you work a zman grubz or a paddle tail? What action or technique can be imparted to effectively utlise the lures advantages. The concept of 'high sticking', what it means and how to avoid it and understanding that a rod should not be treated as a consumable item like braid or lures. Lastly an ever green question - when you get a fish hit the lure, do you always strike?

I discuss the two main categories of spin rod materials and why one is preferred over the other, spots and why greener on the other side is a misnomer, colour of water dictates what is best in the area and local knowledge and the age old question of beginners - what is a bite and what is a snag when they get a hit
