In today’s episode we wil be discussing dog trainers that make you feel SHIT on social media/in real life training.We discuss the difference between sport dog trainers and pet dog trainers and that you need to find the right dog trainer for your dog.That you don’t have to spend 4 hours a day training your dog or you’re a ‘bad owner’, that you can use whatever equipment you like without being ridiculed for it and that it’s okay if your dog sleeps on your bed. If a dog trainer comes in and makes you feel bad and is very ‘their way or the highway’, it may be better to find a different trainer where you are able to learn and feel validated.Don’t just take Facebook, instagram and TikTok as ‘real’.

Trained as a primary school teacher and being in that profession for 10 years, eventually made the switch to full time dog training 5 years ago. Now resides in Auckland, New Zealand.
