MEMORIES FROM THE FIELD with Tom Riccardi | Setter Tales Podcast04 Dec 202501:04:45

Tom Riccardi didn’t grow up hunting but was given an opportunity to accompany a college friend on a waterfowl hunt and was hooked. Tom found the many preparations of equipment leading up to the hunt, the early mornings to deploy decoys on that special spot with a good friend and dog an experience he had to repeat. Over the years Tom has expanded his hunting to include pheasant hunting and he can be found chasing ringnecks in Kansas on most opening days with a special lab.

Todd Ettleman - Board Member Aiming for a Cure Foundation, Pro Guide | Setter Tales Podcast08 Jun 202300:55:03

This week we had a chance to spend some time discussing English Setters with our good friend, Todd Ettleman. As a life long upland hunter that grew up in western Iowa Todd put his bird hunting on hold as he pursued his career and raised a family in eastern Iowa. A chance client invitation to participate in the Aiming for a Cure celebrity bird hunt reignited his love of upland hunting and gun dogs. Today in his retirement, Todd works guiding clients at Highland Hideaway Hunting in Riverside, Iowa with his setter, Asa, and is the current Vice President of the Aiming for a Cure Foundation.WebsiteFacebookSupport the show Please be sure to subscribe and leave a review.
