Coming Soon: Semolina Pilchard - Episode 1

This is a teaser/trailer of the forthcoming, first-ever episode of Semolina Pilchard!

Semolina Pilchard is an experimental, presenter-free, independent art podcast - serving up an ethereal flight of rare, previously unreleased underground music, poetry, short-stories, soundscapes and beyond.

All material is donated by independent artists/unpublished/creative commons/public domain/free to use.

Fuck letting your art die in a dark corner of Spotify - send it to us at Semolina Pilchard..if we can make it work, we'll kneed it into the sonic slurry. It doesn't matter if your project is current or erstwhile.

As far as submissions go - there is only one important rule when it comes to Semolina Pilchard - due to licensing, the art you send in must be yours to donate and be unpublished and unreleased - we use the term 'donate' loosely but it really communicates that you are pledging your art to the podcast and not 'the man' so please don't release what you've bequeathed to us on the streamers afterwards. That would cause the entire episode to be taken down and all the other artists' work with it.

The first episode features audio art kindly donated by Matthew Law, Tanya Fader, Black Mekon, Matt Skillings and King Alfred: Man of Leisure. There's some incidental music from Soft Cops and some hand-made Semolina in there too. More info on the the artists and other elements will be available in the shownotes of each episode.

Social network campaigns and more information is forthcoming..look out for the full first episode in late January 2025. Submissions are welcome via email (addy coming soon) or a DM on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/semolinapodcast @semolinapodcast

Thanks for listening Semolina
