In this episode, we're discussing a new U.S. law condition that states Medicaid is to cover the trial-related routine care costs for Medicaid beneficiaries in clinical trials. Effective January 2022, there is a new form for principal investigators to use in these instances to secure Medicaid coverage, creating an additional and potentially burdensome step for research sites and patients with Medicaid coverage.
