Killer Christmas Elves (2021) – SSP191
Episode 191
mercredi 18 décembre 2024 • Duration 50:19
Feeling particularly festive this week, Karen stumbled upon a “classic” Christmas movie from 2021 (yes, you read that right) titled “Killer Christmas Elves.” Because nothing says holiday cheer like a murderous elf, right? Join the ever-so-delightful Karen and the equally jolly Greg as they dive into this cinematic masterpiece. They will dissect every plot twist, character arc, and the undeniable holiday magic that only a film about homicidal elves can deliver. And to make things even more festive, they’ll be sipping on a “Witch’s Curse” cocktail, a concoction perfectly designed to enhance the viewing experience of such a light-hearted film.
Expect spirited discussions, plenty of sarcastic commentary, and a deep dive into why someone thought this film screamed Christmas. Karen and Greg will also explore the the critical reception (or lack thereof), and whether this film has what it takes to become a holiday favorite—or a cult classic for all the wrong reasons.
Tune in for a holiday episode filled with “Christmas spirit,” dry humor, and probably a lot of questioning life choices. Whether you’re a fan of holiday horror or just need a good laugh, this episode is bound to entertain.
Witch’s Curse Cocktail Recipe
• lemon-lime soda
• blackberries
• triple sec
• grape vodka
• grenadine
• blue curacao
• dry ice or regular ice
Instructions:
- Into a mason jar/cup add a handful of blackberries & as much lemon-lime soda as you want, followed by a generous amount of triple sec.
- Add in 2-4 shots of vodka, preferable grape flavored.
- Now, add in equal parts grenadine & blue curacao.
- Combine. You should get a deep (almost black) purple color.
- Garnish with blackberries.
- Add in a small chunk of dry ice, be very cautious & never touch it with your bare hands. If you cannot find dry ice, regular ice will work-you just won’t be able to get the fog effect.
