In this exclusive interview with Blitz from Overkill, we delve into the band's latest album, "Scorched," which is their 20th and continues their impressive run of form since "White Devil Armory." The conversation with Mike was recorded on a Sunday evening Brisbane time, so I'd just spent two days at Gold Coast water parks with my daughters, which is why I'm a shade of beetroot red, and why I'm not as articulate as I wished I could be, but Mike more than makes up for that. Nigel Wingrove is an art director, filmmaker and director, writer and publisher whose imagery was used by Cradle of Filth in the 1990s. Images of scantly clad women in satanic settings are a feature of Nigel's work, and back in the 90s, one couldn't attend a metal gig without seeing a Cradle of Filth t-shirt with his creations.
