Crawley Town fan Sam Jordan joins us to discuss how new City head coach Scott Lindsey fared across two spells in charge at Broadfield Stadium. We discuss what went right in his promotion-winning 2023/24 campaign, what went wrong when he returned to the club, and what style of play York fans can expect.

We also look ahead to the first competitive game of the season as City and Crawley meet in the League Cup preliminary round on Monday evening. Sam gives his assessment of how Crawley are shaping up ahead of the new season, which players to keep an eye out for, and how the Red Devils might approach the game.

The sacking of Stuart Maynard and his replacement by Scott Lindsey has sent shockwaves through the York City community just a week before the season starts. In this episode, Simon & Ben are joined by guest Stu Wilson to discuss their thoughts on the news, speculate about why it might have happened, and consider where we go from here. We try to gauge the temperature of how the fanbase are feeling and pay tribute to Maynard’s significant achievements at the club.
