When you're not grounded, everything is a struggle and you make your like harder.

When you're grounded, you're present to yourself, your needs, your kids, your business and everything falls into places because the way you do ONE thing, is the way your do EVERYTHING.

Love is connection, attachment. When we love someone, we are attached to them. And that attachment, makes us to want the relationship to be a certain way. That attachment creates expectations, and when these expectations are not met, we suffer. We are in pain. Our expectations create our pain.

Letting go of these expectations is the detachment we need to be in a peaceful relationship. It might sound counterintuitive to be detached in a relationship where we feel attached to someone... but it is key.

Especially in the mother-daughter relationship. My relationship with my mother has had its ups and downs, and I want to share with you how I moved away from feeling hurt, to fully accepting our relationship and allowing it to be what it is, instead of what I hoped it was. This changed the relationship deeply and made it much easier for the both of us.
