Wow, it’s been way too long, but the Rock Bottom crew finally got our schedules to align to put out our second episode of 2024. We believe in quality over quantity. This episode is a natural progression from our last conversation about aliens, and we take a light walk into the topic of demons. Some personal stories were shared, along with theories about angels and demons. This was a fun conversation, and we hope you like listening as much as we liked talking. Throw us some ideas for future topics, (almost) nothing is off limits!

We’re back after a long hiatus to talk about

what’s new with us in the riding world and devolve into alien UFO discussion. Stick around to learn about some supernatural stuff (Probably not though)

In our final episode for the year, we answer a few listener questions and talk dirt bikes for a little bit. We eventually transition to our Festivus celebration and commence with the airing of grievances. Nothing is off limits as we complain about everything from traffic to a popular dirtbike YouTuber. For this episode, we had one of our riding buddies, Bill Roberts (aka @billspec) join us for after ride podcast shenanigans. We talk about a little bit of everything, including how Bill placed higher than Jason in the recent RMEC Bull Gulch Enduro. Since we all seem to buy and sell a lot of bikes, the Rock Bottom Crew decided to make an episode of it. We talk tips for buying and selling, red flags, and how to avoid scammers. We also share stories of disappointment and frustration in buying, and maybe a few were we weren’t totally legit as a seller. So this one was way more ADHD than normal, but it was still fun. We talked ultimate ride or race trip, and we even dipped into talking about ADV and dual sports.

In this episode the Rock Bottom crew talks all things gear, from helmets down to boots. Keep in mind we’re not pros but we do have some opinions on what we like, as well as some thoughts on what has and hasn’t worked for us.

In this episode we talk about how we get ready for a ride and what we take with us: tools, food, etc… We also talk about riding with new riders and what are the expectations of preparedness in others.

In this episode, we talk TBI and tires. We all had a chance to ride the KTM TBI since the last episode, so we felt like we should give a review and an update/change to our opinions from the previous episode. We also spend some time chatting about tires and what goes in them. How much can you really say about tires though? Anyway, we hope you enjoy this one. Mike, Matt, and Jason talk about current enduro bikes from KTM, Beta and Sherco, and which bike we would buy. We get into our best and worst bikes we’ve ever owned, and discuss the ideal “Frankenbike”. I hope you enjoy listening to the conversation as much as we enjoyed having it.

Mike, Matt, and Jason introduce themselves and give a brief (well except for Matt) history of how they got into riding enduro.  It goes off topic a bit here and there, which I suspect will become a common theme in all future episodes.   We end the episode with a little talk about TKO.
