THIS WEEK:
Our heroes have defeated the entirety of Runeforge.  Armed with new powerful weapons, they now need to find the fabled Ruins of Xin-Shalast.  Knowing full well that they will need to be prepared to face the perils ahead, they stop back at Magnimar to liquidate loot and upgrade gear; retrain skills and rest their mind and bodies.  With enough gold to destroy a local economy, our heroes get to work improving themselves.

THIS WEEK:
The party has started the journey to find the hidden city of Xin-Shalast - The first step is to attune to the high altitude.  In order for the path to reveal itself to us one of the Warriors of Light will be required to fast for two weeks as well.  Our heroes make themselves a shelter close to the edge down by the river and prepare for their new adventure.  Will our heroes be able to survive the frozen wilderness, or will the Fen of the Ice Mists fatal cold prove too much to handle?  Tune in now!

THIS WEEK:
From the plane of negative energy comes crawling a fiendish beast with rage in its eyes at the presence of our heroes.  With the devices powering the Infusion Chamber shattered, this wing of Runeforge has lost it's connection to the shadowy realm it siphoned power from.  This shadowy guardian will fight to the death to defeat the Warriors of Light where they stand.  Spells will be cast, blades will be swung and the rest will fight tooth-and-nail until the bitter end.
Aristotle feels likes somethings in his bones.  Hugo makes some new friends.  Reetin has done everything he can.  Vrasken is a dragon.  Clinton forgets to wear headphones again much to the frustration of the editor.

KTHIS WEEK:

THIS WEEK:

It's time to get back to that 'saving the world' business.  The journey to Runeforge, however, is one filled with risk and peril.  Even magical means of transportation can fail, and when they do our heroes will need to be ready to face the unknown.  A foul dungeon awaits for our heroes as they return to their quest - will the smells be too much for our heroes to stomach?

The air is thick with a foul odor and brackish taste - but it'll take more than some stank to dissuade the Warriors of Light.  With Hugo continuing to be feared from Vrasken's powerful magics, it'll take coordination and cooperation from the rest of the team to wrangle their ally, and take care of anything he might encounter as he flee's.

THIS WEEK:

THIS WEEK:

A Grand Reward

THIS WEEK:
The Man made of Mithral was no challenge for our heroes, but the Vaults of Greed hold more in store yet.  When one of those dangers is quick to speak to our heroes, a potential fight becomes a diplomatic battle.  When the Warriors of Light use words to solve their problems, they discover details on their surroundings that otherwise might have been missed.  Mysterious pools of pure magic bring our heroes one step closer to having the tools they need to defeat the rising threat of the returning Runelord.

This week on Rise of the Runelords, the Giant raid has started and Sandpoint is under siege!  Will our heroes be able to best these beasts?  And what else might they have to support them in their raid?  Seres is knocked below zero, Harper brings her back up above zero, Ullr is knocked below zero and Reetin knocks them below zero.

A Mixed Success

The raid on Sandpoint comes to an end and it is a mixed success for the attackers.  Although chaos and madness have been sewed, the Warriors of Light were able to retrieve the item being coveted by Teraktinus.  Null evaluates the situation, Reetin doesn't want to fight a fucking dragon, Seres helps the town and Harper inspiring courage echoes though the town remains.

After failing to gather additional information from a captive giant, the team buries their dead and say their final goodbyes to the late hero.  The surviving members level up and investigate the giant raid and what their goals were.  Following some study, the gang gears up and gets ready to head out hot on the trail of their giant quarry.

The party travels through Ravenmoor continuing on the giant's trail, and they can't escape the rumors of giants roaming the Varisian countryside.  That must mean they are getting close.  The warriors of light can't decide whether it is best to keep or dispose of their looted liquor.  The entire party goes invisible.  The Robot flies ahead.  Reetin does all the damage.

Atop a narrow mountain path along the way to Jorgenfist, the Warriors of Light come across scouts on patrol.  The threat of being knocked off the mountainside is present, and the giant forces of Mokmurian are hardly tolerant of intruders in their lands.  Will our heroes make it by unscathed, or will these foes teach them firsthand what happens to the little folk in giant land?  Null finishes downloading updates.  Mistress Harper dishes out the healing.  Reetin improvises.  Seres doesn't like Harper's tune.

TFrom atop the Iron Peaks, the warriors of light have finally spotted the Valley of the Black Tower: Jorgenfist.  The surrounding area is positively infested with giants of all different heritage - setting up camps around the central fortification.  After some scouting ahead, the party devises a plan - but will that plan survive contact?  Seres scouts ahead.  Harper bounces from cover-to-cover.  Reetin places all of his modifiers on the stack at once.  What even is Null?

The party has ambushed the outer defenses of the lookout tower, and now they need to play it cool or risk blowing their cover to the rest of the encampment.  Those who come to investigate end up being a much bigger threat than initially thought, which throws a wrench in the plans of our heroes.  Will they be able to adapt, or will our heroes be felled before they make it to the camp?  Seres takes a hit.  Reetin pulls aggro.  Harper heals Reetin, and not Seres.

You've been butt-touched
After defeating the Taiga Giant guarding the watchtower overlooking the entrance to the Valley of the Black Tower, the Warriors of Light find themselves with a prisoner of war to deal with.  Because that's always worked out so well for our heroes in the past...  Once that problem is properly dealt with, our heroes review the land and decide what steps they would like to take next.  Reetin demands Boops from the wand of invincibility.  Null's actually kinda cute.  Seres has no interest in hearing the evil monologue.  Harper can't even start playing.

The warriors of light are out of the frying pan and into the fire in this weeks installment of Rise of the Runelords.  After defeating a fearsome fire dragon longtooth our heroes discuss and decide where they would like to strike next.  After one danger is rejected, will the next be any less of a threat?  Reetin finds something shimmering on the path, and decides promptly that it is not his job to investigate that sort of ocurrence.  Null's doesn't fix squishy things.  Reetin Barbarians.  Seres doesn't like spiders.  Aidan also doesn't like spiders.

After defeating the large, festering necrotic husks that were the Deathwebs, the warriors of light take a moment to rejuvinate their vitality and tighten their bolts... or whatever the mechanical equivalent of healing would appropriately be.  Our heroes kill the time by discussing everything from past heroes to fantastic magics to natural biology.  Reetin thinks he knows how Half-Orcs are made.  Tev is all the flankables.  Harper is not interested in asking questions.  Null is not interested in your pity experience.

The team rests in a side cavern after defeating a band of redcaps that were nestled deep under Jorgenfist.  After rejuvenating their wounds, and leveling up the barbarian, the team is back on the trail to take down the giants responsible for the siege on Sandpoint.  When a shimmering bauble catches the attention of the party, our heroes will need to hunker down and survive an explosive escalation of force.  Reetin wonders why it is that they tend to attract the crazy people.  Null speaks the language of it's people.  Harper breaks her mage spine.  Tev is copying Nulls stats.

Things go from bad to worse for our heroes - the explosion from the necklace of fireballs in the caves appears to have stirred the hive of giants above, who now come rushing into the underbelly of Jorgenfist to investigate the ruckus.

THIS WEEK:
The Warriors of Light have defeated the Kuchrima guardians of Xin-Shalast and started their infiltration to the fabled city of gold.  While exploring, we discover a giant camp the likes of which have never before been seen by our heroes.  After disguising and infiltrating the camp we learn of a Giant looking to lead an insurrection against the vindictive overlords dominating the tribes.  Will our heroes be able to make new friends amongst hated enemies, or will conflict come to our heroes once more?  Tune in to find out now!

Following a massive battle in the caverns below Jorgenfist, our heroes retreat to lick their wounds and bury their recently deceased... again.  It is at that time that a new stranger appears to offer their support to the party.  How very convenient.  After divine echoes promise that the Warriors of Light will bring much death, the mysterious stranger is interested in traveling with our heroes.  Ever cautiously, our heroes accept the strangers help and continue to progress.  Reetin is very good at swinging this sword.  Null downloads and installs updates.  Tev wakes up from her nap.

After defeating the troll twins, the remainder of this areas threats seem interested in halting our heroes' siege.  The eerie symbol of a three-eyed Jackal overlooks the warriors of light as they defeat foes they've faced before - Lamia monsters.  Harper doesn't take kindly to Negative Energy.  Null wants to cast a spell.  Reetin misses Seres.  Tev scars herself.
