Inside the Retail Executive Mind: A Conversation Founders Need with Ang Nayyar, CEO of StrutFit18 Dec 202501:06:32

Send us Fan Mail

If you’re a founder trying to sell into retail, this episode may save you months of missteps. If you’re a retail leader evaluating new technology, it’ll reflect what you often wish vendors understood.

In this conversation with Ang Nayyar from StrutFit, we get into the realities of how retailers think, decide, and evaluate solutions — far beyond what’s visible from the outside.

This episode is especially for:

  • Founders and product teams trying to land their first or fifth retail partner
  • Retail innovation leaders who want tech partners that understand operations
  • VCs and advisors evaluating retail-tech readiness
  • Operators trying to understand why tech adoption stalls

Ang explains why retailers say no even when the idea is strong and why pilots die even when the results are good. His breakdown of the internal politics, operational constraints, and hidden decision drivers is one of the clearest you’ll hear.

You’ll learn:

  • What retail executives look for before they trust a founder
  • Why solving a real problem isn’t enough if the rollout creates friction
  • How to avoid becoming “extra work” for stores
  • The signals that show you’re ready for a scaled retail partnership
  • Why timing and operational fit matter more than innovation

This episode will tighten your pitch, raise your bar for product readiness, and help you understand the mindset of the people you’re trying to win over.

If you want a more honest, grounded look inside retail decision-making, this conversation gives you exactly that.

Listen now. This episode will reshape how you approach retail.

What Happens When You’ve Outgrown Your Role?

In this episode, I sit down with Ryan Holm from Helzberg Diamonds, and we get right into the real tension many retail leaders feel but rarely talk about — the moment you know you’re ready for more, even if you haven’t said it out loud yet.

Ryan’s journey from Dunkin’ Donuts to leading innovation in a Berkshire Hathaway company is filled with the kind of insights leaders need right now.

In this conversation we cover:

  • How to know when the spark is fading
  • Why targeted upskilling outperforms “learn everything” development
  • The advantage of speaking both store and HQ fluently
  • How to approach AI with a practical mindset
  • How to evaluate whether you’re truly ready for the next step

This episode gives leaders a clearer view of where they stand today and what they may need to consider for tomorrow.

If you’re in a season of transition, this one will give you something real to think about.

When Retail Stops Growing You, What’s Next?

No one tells you what happens when you outgrow your company.

You hit every metric, you do everything right, and yet the growth stops. Your company still expects results, but they’re not developing you. They’re not stretching you. And if you’re being honest, you’re starting to feel it.

The hard truth? Most senior leaders won’t admit when they’ve hit this wall. They keep showing up, running the same play, hoping something shifts. But real leadership isn’t just about surviving in a system that stopped investing in you, it’s about taking control of your next move.

In this episode, I break down:

  •  The moment you realize your company isn’t developing you anymore
  • Why top leaders don’t wait for permission to grow
  • How to build your own “third place” for real strategic development

This one’s for the leaders who know they need something different—but aren’t waiting around for someone else to create it.

From Store to HQ: Building a Common Language for Success04 Apr 202400:47:23

Send us Fan Mail

In today's episode, titled "HQ vs. Store: Bridging the Divide," we finish our two-part series - Everything Works at HQ!

  • What can HQ learn from stores?
  • Why is developing a common language between HQ and stores crucial for successful communication and relationship-building?
  • What strategies can stores implement to better listen and execute the corporate strategy delivered by HQ?

We're going to explore the critical need for building a shared vision between your retail stores and corporate headquarters. The secret lies with effective communication and alignment.

Central to our discussion will be how stores and headquarters can develop a common language to enhance understanding, build relationships, and ensure that execution of corporate strategies at the store level is effective and seamless.

I outline a practical 'speed dating' approach to connect the store level with various roles at HQ, emphasizing the value of rapport and communication to overcome the execution disconnect. I share vital insights that HQ wishes to convey to stores, and vice versa, shedding light on the assumptions that may hinder the rollout of new programs.

The episode doesn't shy away from the complexities of inventory management or the pitfalls of poor communication techniques. Rather, I provide a framework to articulate the "why" behind KPIs and metrics, turning data literacy into a powerful tool for retail leaders.

And finally, I examine the North Star concept. This is what it looks and feels like when HQ and Stores have are in alignment, collaborative, and both provide solutions-oriented leadership for mutual success.

So grab your notepads and prepare to change the way you think about the relationship between HQ and Stores.

This episode charts a new course to a more resilient, adaptable, and united future.

Bridging the Divide: Insights from Stores to Transform HQ Strategies28 Mar 202400:50:43

Send us Fan Mail

US vs THEM!

This battle in retail has been in existence since Retail began.

US - Stores vs THEM - Home Office.

Why can’t they see eye to eye?

What has hindered these two teams from establishing a mutually beneficial and successful relationship?

This two-part series - Everything Works at HQ.  Part one titled “What HQ can learn from Stores”, is a candid exploration of the oft-overlooked wisdom that our stores hold for corporate headquarters. The goal is to bridge the gap between corporate strategies and the challenges our store teams face daily.

I’ll unpack a crucial dialogue on the disconnect between HQ's drive for business growth and the on-the-ground reality of our stores.

In this episode, I discuss the significance of effective communication, the urgent call for a human-centric approach to training and leadership, and the revelation of a leadership gap where store leaders yearn for real growth and development opportunities.

I also help HQ and stores understand the need for "safe people" over just "safe spaces," pushing for transparency in feedback and a genuine connection between employees and management.

Lastly, l explore the "North Star" concept, aiming for that unified vision that propels Home Office and Stores towards cohesive success.

Are you a retail leader grappling with disconnection? Do you feel the stark contrast between your retail playbook and the actual game on the floor? Stay tuned as we dissect these challenges and offer actionable insights, including why external coaching may be the lifeline your team needs.

Join us for a journey into the heart of retail where it's not just about what HQ dictates, but about listening, understanding the 'why,' and recognizing the true pace and urgency that define our stores.

This is Retail Leadership with Steve Worthy where we're speaking the unspoken language of retail success. Let's transform retail leadership together.

  • It's not just experience that helps you; it's evaluated experiences.
  • When you are getting promoted, it's not just about you. It's about those other people that you have actually helped.
  • We get so fixated on the day to day that we don't think outside of our box.
  • You won't get promoted if you don't have a better understanding of embracing and dealing with change.
  • When you have a seat at the table, you're feeding yourself. When you don't have a seat at the table, people are feeding.
  • The best leaders I know ask questions that they don't have the answer to, and they ask the questions and hope that you have the answer.
  • The best leaders, the ones who are getting promoted, have a good idea of who they are and where they want to go.

[14:17] How do you start to think about your legacy?

Notable Quotes:

  • Your legacy is being developed and curated daily by your actions, your intentions, your relationships, your achievements, your failures, and those you lead.
  • I wanted to be able to unashamedly speak to retail leaders about where they currently are in their journey.
  • To be able to walk into a store, feel the energy, and also to see things that you possibly put into place that are still operating is such a cool feeling. That is a legacy feeling!
  • A lot of times, we think about legacy as meaning us and who we are. But to be very honest, your legacy is bigger than you.
  • When you start to think about your legacy, you have to make sure that your personal life, and your personal legacy, match, to some degree, your professional legacy.

  • When you are navigating your career, you need to know what's your current skill set and where you currently are.
  • Too many leaders don't do a proper assessment. They just think that opportunities and situations are supposed to be there because they've been there long enough. No, it doesn’t work that way.
  • The best way to minimize the time that it takes for you to build trust is to communicate more with your boss.
  • You, as the leader, you have to over-communicate with your team so that they understand exactly where they are, the role that they play, and where they will be after this journey.
  • The worst thing that you can do is to be unclear about what it is that you are asking from your team.
  • As a leader, during your journey, it's important for you to understand a little bit more about who you are so that you can figure out the proper direction that you want to take in your career.

THE LAW OF EXPLOSIVE GROWTH28 Mar 202300:28:21

Send us Fan Mail

As a retail leader, your success is determined by the relationships you cultivate and encircle yourself with. So, how do you ensure that you are surrounded by the right people?

Let's talk about the Law of Explosive Growth in this episode and learn how to grow, develop, export, and even retain great talent and future leaders from your own team.

Stay tuned!

Key Highlights

[00:01] A leader is only as good as whom they surround themselves with

[00:49] The concept of Explosive Growth

[04:37] Grow, develop, and export great talent

[05:16] It’s not about followers; it’s about growing leaders

[10:00] The first person that you need to learn how to lead is yourself.

[12:00] If you grow a team, your organization can also experience growth.

[15:33] If you develop leaders, your organization can achieve explosive growth.

[17:55] How to retain the leaders that you hire.

[20:48] What does great talent look like?

Notable Quotes

●      Explosive growth is the concept and idea of taking yourself from where you are to where you want to be times x.

●      The first person that you need to learn how to lead is yourself. And the most difficult person to lead is going to be yourself because you are fighting against everything inside of you that wants to then wants to do something different.

●      When you want to experience explosive growth, you have to have a burning desire inside to keep and retain the great talent that you hire and make sure that you see them winning on a consistent basis.

●      If you are consistent with your methodology for hiring people, for understanding what that looks like, then I think it's important that your team has an understanding of that as well.

●      The worst thing that you can do is to not see that you need to develop great leaders so that you can have consistent explosive growth wherever you go.

●      The areas of your weakness as a leader can become exploited if you don't take the time to realize what they are; if you don't take the time to assess who you are, where you are, and where you want to go.

Designing Retail Conferences That Actually Teach Leaders!30 Oct 202500:49:47

Send us Fan Mail

Conference fatigue is real. The solution isn’t bigger booths. It’s better design.

In this episode of Retail Leadership with Steve Worthy, Jamie Hancock — founder of Buying Time and Commerce Futures — breaks down how to build events that create real learning and real pipeline without turning the room into a pitch fest.

We cover:

  • Designing your event like a sales motion: ICP, personas, shared problems, clear outcomes
  • Why putting customers and practitioners on stage beats vendor decks every time
  • Workshop formats that produce value you can capture, anonymize, and share with your team
  • The truth about side events around NRF and why many “big show” wins happen off the floor
  • A simple rule that improves content quality: more women on stage
  • Post-event “aftercare” that turns inspiration into action the following week

You’ll leave with a practical checklist for making your next event — hosted or attended — actually worth it.

THE LAW OF PRIORITIES21 Feb 202300:30:12

Send us Fan Mail

People frequently confuse busyness for productivity, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. As retail leaders, where we spend our time and how much energy we put into something reveal a lot about us.

In this episode, let's talk about the Law of Priorities and discover the power of focusing on what's important NOW. You don’t want to miss out on this one!

Key Highlights

[02:15] Understanding the Law of Priorities as a retail leader

[03:17] The 80:20 rule from a leadership standpoint

[04:17] What are your non-negotiables as a retail leader?

[08:58] How do you know what’s important to you?

[13:36] How to know what’s important to your team?

[15:50] Breaking down organizational goals to store level.

[17:21] The importance of having a value system in leadership

[19:07] Where are you spending your time?

[21:00] Where do you spend your money?

[22: 13] Where are your people going?

[23:45] Where you’re gone, what legacy will you leave?

Notable Quotes

  • If it's a priority, you will find a way to get it done. If it's not a priority, guess what? You're gonna find an excuse.
  • When you delegate, you're able to take less off your plate and really focus on your top priorities.
  • What we define and identify as important shouldn't change day to day.
  • When I say that, that should be a priority, that should be something that you should be focusing on a daily basis.
  • There should be very little variation from who you are at work to who you are at home.
  • I have seen so many leaders try to lead other people without leaving themselves first and without knowing what's important to them first.
  • If you don't have a value system or a foundation, then you can't require that from other people.
  • Just because your name is not on the door doesn't mean that this is not your business.
  • A lot of times, we want to hold on to people in a certain row because they are crushing it for us. But guess what? That is not right; they need the opportunity to move up, and they need the chance to prove themselves.

THE LAW OF BIG MO07 Feb 202300:38:57

Send us Fan Mail

A leadership that lacks momentum is like a parked car: it can't get you where you want to go. Momentum, or the “Big Mo,” is one of the most important elements you need as a retail leader. Without it, it will be hard to set anything in motion.

So, how do you gain momentum and ensure that you always have enough fuel to propel your team to victory? Listen in as we delve into the Law of Big Mo.

Key Highlights:

[00:01] Momentum is your lifeline as a leader

[02:12] Why you need momentum in your life to move you forward

[04:37] Creating a ripple effect requires disruption

[06:27] What happens if you don’t have momentum?

[10:18] How volunteering for pilot projects can benefit your team

[14:11] The 3 ways to gain momentum

[20:45] How do you lose your momentum?

[22:28] The Shiny Object Syndrome

[28:33] What does it look like when you have the “Big Mo”?

Notable Quotes:

  • We need momentum in our lives as a leader to continue to carry us forward, to move us from project to project, from opportunity to opportunity.
  • The ripple effect happens once something is actually cast into the stillness. So if there is stillness, there has to be a casting or a disruption of that stillness in order to create the ripples.
  • Too many people are trying to drive a parked car. Don't be that person trying to drive a parked car thinking that you're gonna get somewhere you are not.
  • If you want to be a great retail leader, you have to be abnormal.
  • When you lose momentum, you become vulnerable to distractions.
  • When you are trying to fix something within your market, the best thing that you can do is to go back to the best practice.
  • You don't know if something is broken until you understand the operational boundaries in which something should exist.

If you’re a retail leader seeking strategies to inspire your team toward a unified goal, don’t miss this episode on the Law of Victory.

[02:01] Winning not just by yourself but with your team

[03:58] The importance of recognizing when you have won

[05:46] Looking for quick wins and celebrations

[20:14] Use the momentum you've gained to focus on things you can win at.

[23:41] How to tell if you're using the Law of Victory effectively

Notable Quotes:

  • As a leader, your goal is to influence people; it's to take them from where they are to where they need to be collectively, efficiently, and effectively as possible. And part of that is actually recognizing when you have won.
  • If you have somebody who is amazing, one of the best things you can do is to get them in front of your boss and tell your boss about how amazing they are, what they did for the store, and what they could potentially do for your market.
  • As a leader, we tend to expect people to think as we think and to see things as we see them. And nine out of 10 times, they don't.
  • You can't just disseminate information; you have to let them know the role that they play within the information that you are disseminating.
  • When you've developed a culture of winning, there is a clarity of vision, and you can move mountains, and you can move forward.

But is sticking to our own kind a smart idea? Or is there a benefit to being receptive to people who are your complete opposites?

In this episode, let's look at the Law of Magnetism as it relates to leadership and building a well-balanced, cohesive team. Stay tuned!

Key Highlights:

[01:08] The Law of Magnetism in the context of leadership

[03:45] Keeping a diverse and healthy balance of members in your team

[09:44] Critical elements that you need to have on your team

[10:25] Two keys to help you to develop great talent

[11:28] Offering exposure opportunities for the right people

[15:36] Creating advancement pathways

[20:07] How to tell if you're utilizing the Law of Magnetism correctly

Notable Quotes:

  • We attract people who are similar to us; they share our values, they share fundamental characteristics.
  • When it becomes a matter of leadership, when it becomes a matter of your team, there needs to be a healthy balance of people who are similar, and people who are dissimilar to yourself.
  • Who you are, is who you attract.
  • The limit to our potential is determined by our leadership ability.
  • The best leaders I know embrace that creative tension within their team so that they can get the best solution possible.
  • If we want to attract great people, we ourselves must be great.

THE LAW OF RESPECT30 Nov 202200:31:24

Send us Fan Mail

One of the most valuable things you can achieve as a retail leader is to earn the respect of those around you. But it’s easier said than done, right?

Respect entails more than just people following your orders. It isn’t something that instantly comes with your leadership role or title. In this episode, we'll explore the Law of Respect to learn what it takes to truly give and receive it. You don't want to miss out on this!

Key Highlights:

[00:01] Let’s talk about the Law of Respect

[01:04] How important respect is as a retail leader

[02:10] Steve’s perspective on leadership

[02:51] What does respect truly mean?

[05:11] Understanding who you are and your value system first

[09:45] How to gain respect in a retail environment

[11:31] The 3 types of respect every leader must understand

[20:04] 3 ways to show respect in the retail environment

Notable Quotes:

  • As a retail leader in such a fast-paced environment, we must garner respect and trust quickly, or else we’ll lose.
  • Leadership is all about influence and direction. It's moving yourself first, and then your team forward toward a desired goal.
  • Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even though they're different from you and you don't agree with them.
  • Respect doesn't have to come naturally. Sometimes you actually have to learn respect.
  • We want to move forward so quickly, but we don't really understand what's important to us.
  • When we start to think about the law of respect, we must be strong and worthy of respect, if we want other people to respect us.
  • We define respect in this fashion - we recognize the inherent worth, and value of the other person, and honor that inherent worthiness, in our words, our actions, and our behaviors.
  • You are in your leadership role for a reason. So respect the chair, respect the position of being a leader.

THE LAW OF SOLID GROUND28 Mar 202200:27:52

Send us Fan Mail

Trust is the foundation of leadership. It is earned or it isn’t.

The LAW OF SOLID GROUND is a case for building a solid character, living with integrity, authenticity and discipline.

Character is the source of trust. We build our character by being scrupulously honest, even when it hurts.

To be authentic, we must be ourselves with everyone, not pretending to be something that we aren’t. Discipline comes from doing what needs to be done whether we like it or not.

As a retail leadership, you are as good as your word and your ability to keep. Your talents will only get you so far. If you are a hands-on leader, setting endcaps, doing planograms, or as a field leader, you devote a ton of time walking stores and helping them solve problems. This law of Solid Ground will help you maintain the respect and admiration of your team.

However, if are new to leadership and have yet to get the buy-in of your team. this law will be a great starting point for you.

Character cannot develop in an environment in which ethical decisions are forced upon the individual. Character is a product of judgment, discretion, and choice — born from a man’s free agency

This is to say that the choices every single person makes influence the world around him, and that the existence of a virtuous society is predicated on the virtue of each of its individual members.

How to Keep your Character:

1. Strive to be the same person in front of the crowd as you are behind the scenes

  • When the pressure is on, what’s inside always comes out.
  • In a crisis or under stress, we don’t have the luxury of keeping up appearances.
  • It’s at such times that our actions reveal who we really are—for good or for ill.
  • Are you the same person outside of work?
  • Do you live differently around different peer groups?
  • Does your environment determine your speech or is it consistent no matter what?

2. Be very careful not to conform

  • Sometimes it’s easier to conform.
  • Sometimes the stakes aren’t that high, the outcome isn’t that  important, and it would just be easier all the way around to simply go with the flow.

Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

  • You see, character isn't who we say we are. It's who we actually are.
  • You can fake almost anything in life, but not your character.
  • You either have it or you don't. Character means doing the right thing regardless of what others think.
  • It often means standing alone and acting courageously.

THE LAW OF ADDITION08 Mar 202200:15:58

Send us Fan Mail

Leadership is a process and it takes time to master, there’s no way around the process

  • Trust the process
  • What is does influence really mean:
    • Things may look bad now, but we have a plan in place to make it better.”

LAW OF ADDITION

The law of addition focuses on how to add value to your team in order to create more leaders to grow. Leaders who pour into their teams create more leaders. We know we can use more authentic leadership these days.

True leaders ask “How can I serve?” Because they are focused on service, it’s not so much about “What’s in it for me.”

As a retail leader, a large portion of your role is to invest in your team beyond their paycheck. The law of addition provides you an idea of how to serve your team

Three tips on how t add value to your team

  1. Value others
    1. Value their time
    2. Information - people seem to have inside knowledge on a market, idea, trend, or community, and are known as people who spread change through their knowledge.
    3. Culture - what time of culture are you creating as a leader
  2. Make yourself more valuable

The premise of adding value to the lives of your team members is that you intentionally add impact and substance. You cannot give what you don’t have.

  1. Know and relate to what others value

“Inexperienced leaders are quick to lead before knowing anything about the people they intend to lead. But mature leaders listen, learn, and then lead.” John C. Maxwell

Many leaders are too quick to take charge. A good leader takes the opportunity to listen to what every person believes is important and then leads.

“The bottom line in leadership isn’t how far we advance ourselves but how far we advance others,” John C. Maxwell wrote. Great leaders derive pleasure from making life better for others by adding value to them. They are intentional about adding merit and making it part of their core values.

Developing and executing influence and being active in your own journey are keys to success.

LAW OF PROCESS

  • Leaders are learners and their capacity to develop and improve their skills distinguishes leaders from their followers. The learning process is ongoing and a result of self-discipline and perseverance.
  • As a retail leadership, you may want to get promoted to District manager or to Regional Director or you are a team leader looking to get promoted. two misnomers about getting promoted are:
    • Tenure
    • Knowledge

5 Levels Of Leadership - What level are you on?19 Oct 202100:21:49

Send us Fan Mail

5 LEVELS OF LEADERSHIP

Level 1 — Position
The lowest level of leadership—the entry-level, if you will—is Position. It’s the only level that requires no ability or effort to achieve. After all, anyone can be appointed to a position!

People who remain on the position level may find it difficult to work with volunteers. Why? Because position does not automatically result in influence, and volunteers are aware that they don’t have to follow anyone. They truly only follow if they want to.

Level 2 — Permission
Level 2 is based on relationships. At this level, people choose to follow because they want to. In other words, they give the leader Permission to lead them. To grow at this level, leaders work on getting to know their people and connecting with them. You can’t lead without people, which means you need to learn to like people if you want to lead well!

Level 3 — Production
The best leaders know how to motivate their people to GTD – get things done! And getting things done is what Level 3 is all about. On this level, leaders who produce results build their influence and credibility. People still follow because they want to, but they do it because of more than the relationship. People follow Level 3 leaders because of their track record.

Level 4 — People Development
Level 4 can be summed up in one word: reproduction. Your goal at this level is to identify and develop as many leaders as you can by investing in them and helping them grow.

The reason is simple: When there are more leaders, more of the organization’s mission can be accomplished. When you invest in them, you can reproduce yourself.

Level 5 — Personhood
The highest level of leadership is also the most challenging to attain. It requires longevity as well as intentionality. You simply can’t reach Level 5 unless you are willing to invest your life into the lives of others for the long haul. But if you stick with it, if you continually focus on both growing yourself at every level, and developing leaders who are willing and able to develop other leaders, you may find yourself at the Pinnacle.

Send us Fan Mail

COVID-19 has not just changed the world but also changed the DNA of our workplace ecosystem in many ways. Leaders must change as well to lead effectively in this new era. If this pandemic experience has taught us anything, it’s that leadership matters and for many organizations facing decidedly fragile futures, it may matter now more than ever as the country tries to emerge from forced hibernation and rebuild a broken economy.

Retail and front-line leaders need to perform at the highest levels. How they cope with a post-pandemic environment will determine success or failure. Here are the six post-pandemic leadership traits every retail leader needs to succeed in the workplace following a pandemic.

We outline the Five Skills for success:

  1. Humility

Are You A Day One Ready - Retail Leader? - Part II28 Jun 202100:20:12

Send us Fan Mail

Day 1 Ready is about the preparation you undertake to start a new venture, job, mission, or task. It is about the work that you do in advance to ensure optimal success for your team or company. On the contrary, Day 1 Ready, is also about mindset. Day 1 Ready leaders bring a contagious amount of energy, enthusiasm, passion, and curiosity every single day. Day 1 Ready leaders are optimistic, problem solvers, and strong communicators.

There is a level of consistency in their performance as they strive to produce top results and motivate others.  As we delve deeper into the Day 1 Ready framework, there are three tips to keep in mind to help you reach your highest potential as a retail leader.

As a retail leader you must to:

  1. Be Courageous
Leadership requires courage. John Maxwell stated it best: “Successful leaders have the courage to take action while others hesitate.” Courageous leaders
     are brave, daring, and gutsy.
  2. Be Creative
I can remember hearing one of my favorite leaders tell me “Courage breeds creativity.” Being creative is thinking about how to create efficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize performance.
  3. Be Committed
When you are courageously ready to launch your new creative idea, it requires commitment. You are willing to try again, perhaps making tweaks to the initial idea, often seeking input and feedback from others.

“Congratulations! The team would like to make you an offer…” are the words I remember the recruiter said with sheer excitement after I completed 3 rounds of tough interviews to join one of the largest global retailers in the world. While I was filled with tremendous excitement and pride… I felt a small knot in my stomach. I was happy but nervous. I knew I was capable but was I truly prepared?

25 years later as an award-winning retail leader, I can confidently say yes, I was ready for the challenge. However, I would like to share a few reflections and leadership lessons I have learned along the way to ensure you are “Day 1 Ready to Serve as a Retail Leader.”

As a retail leader you must to:

  1. Be Curious  - Ask questions. Ask lots of them. Ask them often.
  2. Be Consistent - Being consistent with your performance will yield huge dividends for you in the future.
  3. Be Confident - “With confidence, you have won before you even started"— Marcus Garvey.
