It's the long-awaited crossover between the Yankees' 27 rings and Katherine Heigl's 27 Dresses, as Hosts James and Diaz call up Very Special Guest Xavier so that the trio can kick off a new season with Guys Who Were The Bridesmaids But Never The Bride.

Diaz leads things off this time with the least offensive Republican politician we've ever discussed (15:06); James discusses the only shared point in the Jamaica, Slovenia, and University of Nebraska Venn diagram (38:49); and then Xavier talks about a hooper who maybe didn't make it rain, but still knew a thing or two about Snow (1:01:05). The best Guys have nicknames; and the best nicknames, they tell a story. Well today, Hosts James and Diaz welcome back the Very Special Guest Xavier to tell some of those stories, as this week our team dives into Nickname Guys.

James kicks things off with a Guy who could not be fazed, until he ran into the Sacramento Kings (18:11); Diaz delivers a knockout of a segment on a boxer you "got" to hear about (40:02); and then Xavier talks about a UFC fighter with a lot of Pride on the line (1:11:48). Tell us if you've heard this one before! Hopefully you haven't, because this week Hosts James and Diaz have brought back Very Special Guest Xavier to discuss Guys From Hitherto Unmentioned Sports.

As the dog days of summer draw to a close, Hosts James and Diaz once again welcome Very Special Guest Xavier; as the crew this time looks back through the sands of time at Pre-Season Mirage Guys this week.

Xavier's segment looks at a backup's career that can offer us some Sage advice (20:47); James explores a Guy who has a body of work, as well as just a body, that flips our expectation (44:25); and while the Jets have Sauce nowadays, Diaz takes us back to when their neighbors/roommates had salsa (1:14:31). After all of that, these Guys may have fallen short when the games counted before, but at least one of them is guaranteed to rise to the challenge this week and manage induction into the Hall (1:37:06).
