Miri Klements and Tammy Schoolcraft teamed up in 2016 based on their mutual passion for providing Reiki to patients dealing with healthcare challenges. Shortly after, they received an invitation to offer Reiki to staff at one of the local hospitals in the Atrium Healthcare System in Charlotte, North Carolina.   In early 2017, they were asked to participate in a Pilot Study for ‘Alternatives to Opiates for Pain Management in Orthopedic Trauma Patients’.
