Here's the skinny: The Seattle Mariners took the final two games in Oakland to move to 71-70 on the year. They are now just 4.5 games back in the American League West and are trying to give us all a sliver of hope.

We spent a good portion of this episode talking about why Jerry Dipoto shouldn't be back in 2025, and then the Mariners apparently decided to bring him back.

Thursday was a very chaotic day in Mariners fandom as the team moved on from Scott Servais after eight-plus years as manager. We look at that decision, why it was necessary and what our feelings are on Servais's time and tenure.

Furthermore, why does Scott have to go but Jerry Dipoto gets to stay? Do we believe he's safe moving forward? And what about the decision to hire Dan Wilson as manager on a permanent basis?

The Mariners lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, continuing a dreadful road trip. They are now 5.0 games back in the American League West and while the division is not technically out of reach, it feels that way.

We had a great guest lined up but they got sick so we have to re-schedule, so Brady just speaks from the heart about the losses, the road trip, the let down and so much more.

And in one piece of good news, the Mariners are going to the Little League Classic in 2025.

The Seattle Mariners were swept this week by the Detroit Tigers in embarrassing fashion and they've fallen to 3.0 games back in the American League West and further back in the wild card as well.
