Today, we’re diving into a topic that has truly changed my life: the power of an abundance mindset. You know, it's not just about getting what you want; it's about believing you deserve it. That belief can totally transform your behavior and, ultimately, your reality.

I’m going to share six key principles that have really made a difference for me, both professionally and personally. These principles are the backbone of an abundant mindset, and while some might surprise you and others might be a bit tough to embrace, I promise they can change your life for the better.

First off, let's talk about what it means to choose abundance. It’s all about shifting from a scarcity mindset—where you’re stuck in confusion, fear, and a constant feeling of lack—to one of abundance and possibility. Many of us grew up in environments where just surviving was the goal, not thriving. But to live abundantly, we need to learn how to visualize our dreams and believe they’re possible.

Visualization is the first principle. It’s not just daydreaming; it’s about creating a clear, vivid picture of the life you want. Once you have that vision, the pillars of wealth support it. In this episode, we’ll break down each of these principles, how each pillar supports abundance, and talk about how you can start applying them in your life.

I don’t believe any of us ever has to look for our purpose, but that most of us refuse to embrace the purpose that has been with us the whole time.    Purpose requires us to open our hearts to have the capacity to embrace and accept who we were naturally created to be. Today, I need to take a step away from our usual content to share something deeply personal. Over the last three months, I have experienced the loss of three incredible people who have had a profound impact on my life. Without them, there would not be a Patrice Washington as you know me today. These individuals have shaped who I am and have been instrumental in my journey and in the creation of Redefining Wealth.

My heart is heavy, and I find it impossible to sit down and continue business as usual. This episode is my way of honoring and respecting these three amazing souls. I could push through and pretend everything is fine, but that wouldn’t be genuine or authentic. It wouldn’t be right. These people have meant so much to me, and their absence has left a significant void. I need to take this time to grieve and to process these losses fully.
